I woke up to the sound of my alarm clock.

I stood up and went downstairs to cook my son his favorite breakfast: Bacon , Eggs , and Ham.

We live in a penthouse with two bedroom and two bathroom that my sister bought for us. My sister is a lawyer if y'all are wondering. She help me in the whole pregnancy experience.

I don't know what would I do without her.

As I was done cooking baby Devon woke up as of cue I served him his breakfast.

I love my baby very much. He was my everything and also the solution to my problems. He heal me when my heart was broken and I thank god for him.

It was hard getting Devon ready for day care because he was running around the house demanding 'I can clean myself mommy' demanding as his father. But the true reason is because he doesn't want to go to day care.

"You're going to daycare and that's final" I said to him.

"No! Mommy, the old wady in daycare is so annowing and ugwy" He said through baby language.

"Don't make me call Aunt Andrea young man" with that he obeyed.

He was totally afraid of Andrea because she told him to obey me or else she won't buy his remote control car on his birthday this coming month.

After getting him ready, we left.

"Clare, customers on table 4 is ready to order" Charles my gay bestfriend said. Charles is the one Sebastian accused me of cheating with. Charles also got me this job too.

I went up to the two men wearing business suits.

"Hi welcome to Palacè..." I said without looking up.

"What kind of drinks can I start you guys off with?" I said professionally.

This time I looked up and my eyes widen. In front of me was Sebastian.

He was staring intently at me and he never dared to look away. He looked at me with no shame. I can feel his intense stare eyeing me up and down.

I just looked anywhere but him.

Trying hard to break the silent I sighed and said again "Drinks I can start you gentlemen with?"

Realization dawn on him and he gave me a straight face and they both ordered.

"Thanks Charles !" I yelled back at my bestfriend.

My shift ends at noon because I have to pick up Devon from daycare.

I was excited to see my baby. As I was walking to my car a hand made its way around my waist, stopping me. The only person that stops me like that is Sebastian.

Sebastian my Ex.

"Missed me?" He said making my whole body shiver like it always have when he was near me.

"What do you want?" I said pushing him but failed miserably.

"You didn't even answered my question!" He demanded.

"What do you want?" I asked annoyed. Trying to get out of his strong grip.

"Can we talk?"
