I don't even know what to think. When i saw her eyes watering and him on the floor i just had to protect her. From whatever he did to her.

The punch she threw was pretty impressive though. I'm pretty sure his nose was broke before i even punched him. Why did i punch him? No clue.

I was in the back with Alex while braydon drove and violet was in the passenger seat. She was looking out the windowing sniffling the whole time. It was completely silent, except for her sniffs.

"Guys uh where are we exactly going?" Alex said awkwardly.

"We gotta take her to the hospital" braydon said.

"I'm sure it's not bad, she'll be fine" Alex said.

"I don't fucking care if it's not bad, i want it checked by a doctor" i yelled back. I had to make sure she was okay. My knuckles were also bleeding but i didn't even care.

"You guys stay here, I'll take her." I said getting out and opening violets door.

"You sure? You need to get checked out too dude" Braydon said. I completely ignored him and was only focused on violet.

"Violet cmon let's go" i said unbuckling her seatbelt, and lifting her up bridal style, "don't worry i got you."

She hasn't said a work since the whole thing and I'm starting to worry.

"She'll have some bruising and it'll be sore from the cuts, but other than that she'll be fine!" The doctor said, "may i ask how exactly this happened?"

"Well-" the doctor then cut me off.

"Sir, please step out of the room".

I stepped out and put my ear to the door

"It-it was my ex. Not him, i just saw him and freaked out" violet answered sniffling. This breaks my fucking heart. Her ex? Why did she tell me? Did he hurt her? What the he'll happened?

I heard some talking and then the door opened and i quickly backed away.

"Okay! She's fine- oh my your hand" she said grabbing my hand.

"It's fine-"

"Please make sure he-he's okay." Violet said from the room.

"Fine check it out."

"You two are all set! Ice your hands to avoid swelling, and take Advil as needed!" She said walking away.

"Do you wanna go home? Or my place? I'll stay with you- if you want."

"Uh i-i don't know." She mumbled back looking down as i had my right arm around her back and was guiding her to the car.

"Okay well is my place fine? We can eat dinner there if you want."

"Uh- yeah okay."

"Text us, I'm worried about her Liam." Braydon said as violet stepped out of the car and i was about to do the same.

"I'll take care of her down worry." I said as i stepped out and walked to my apartment door.

"Okay you can make yourself at home. You hungry? Thirsty? Oh i have medicine if you need it-"

"It's okay, i just wanna go to sleep." She mumbled looking at the wall. She hasn't looked at me once since it happened.

"Violet, take however much time you need, but I'm uh here for you, okay?" I said. What am i doing? I've never done or said this before. I've never wanted to take care of someone like this. Not since skylar.

"Yeah uh- I'm sorry for everything. You shouldn't have done that Liam."

"Violet I'll always protect you no matter what, okay?"

"Yeah- uh I'm gonna go to sleep. Goodnight Liam." She said as she got up and went to my bedroom.
