"John! Hey baby" Wendy says walking up to me with open arms and a smile before I pushed past her to where kayla was holding my mate,

"You lay a finger on her again and I'll personally detach your hands from your body" I say pulling my mate away from her reach,

"What are you doing John? She's nothing but a weak lit-" before Wendy could finish I cut her off,

"She's my mate" I say pulling the shocked girl into my arms as the the other three girls in front of us jaws dropped,

"W-w-what?!" Wendy shouts in surprise as I rolled my eyes,

"She's MY mate" I say glaring at her as she gasps,

"And if any of you touch her again I won't hesitate to make sure that'll be the last day of your lives" I say glaring down at the three scared cheerleaders in front of me,

"You can have her " Kayla says quickly before pulling Wendy and Brittany away from where I was,

"You didn't have to do that" I hear a voice say as I turned to see my mate picking up her stuff from the floor with a frown,

"Let me help" I say quickly picking up her stuff and her shattered glasses from the floor,

"What's your name?" I ask as she put away her stuff in her backpack avoiding eye contact,

"V-" before she finished a car horn cut her off,

"Vivian!" I hear a male voice shout as I turned to see a tall guy rushing towards us before I stopped him with a growl,

"What the fuck did you do to my sister!?" He shouts pushing me as my eyes widened,

"Let's go Damien" My mate says pulling on the males arm as I felt my wolf getting angry at the physical contact,

"Did he touch you?! Were you trying to rape my little sister!?" He shouts pushing me before I pushed him back making him stumble,

"I would never hurt my mate!" I snapped as his eyes widened,

"Mate?" He says before turning to my mate who was blushing,

"Let's go home Damien" She says walking away as he stared at her in shock before turning to me with a glare,

"Stay away from my sister" He says looking me up and down while getting into his car with my mate and driving off as I stared at the car getting further before shifting into my large black wolf form with a howl,

"You found your mate!?" My sister shout loudly as I was trying to finish my plate of spaghetti,

"Who is she!? What's her name!? Have you guys mated yet!? What does she look like?! Is she a nice girl!? Did you guys kiss!? Have you gu-" before she finished her quick questions I stopped her,

"She didn't tell me her name but I think her brother called her Vivian" I say with a smile as my sister shrieks happily while jumping up and down on her chair,

"My brother finally met his mate!!!" She shouts excitedly as my parents look at her with frowns,

"You never met her before son?" My dad asks with a look of confusion as I nodded,

"I've known everyone at the school for the past three years but I never remembered meeting her" I say in shock as my sister awes,

"Aww, this is like a love drama" She says hugging Kaden's arm as he tries to eat without dropping his food from all the movement my sister was making,

"Tell me the story again" She says with a grin,

"After the game finished I was the last to leave since I showered last and as soon as I got out of the locker room her scent hit me out of no where. And when I followed the smell I found her getting picked on by these three cheerleaders under the bleachers for doing her homework" I say remembering what happened seeing my mom smile,

"She's a smart but shy person, I can tell" My mom says with a chuckle as I grinned,

"She's one of a kind" I say thinking of her face as Kaden tried to control my sister from jumping happily on her chair,

"You two are sooooooo cute" She says before Kaden pulled his arm out of her hands since she was literally pulling onto his arms roughly,

"I can't wait to meet her. I wonder if she's a good cook. What if she's a great cook? Then maybe we can cook together and be besties" She says before eating her food energetically,

"I'm happy for you for meeting your mate on your birthday" My dad says patting my back as I nodded with a smile,

"I can't wait to see her and ask her all the questions that are on my mind now" I say with a dreamy sigh as my dad chuckles,

"Now don't go scaring her away now, remember to take it slow. She might run off when your straight forward right away when you guys meet"My dad says with a nod as I try to stick that in mind,

"And remember if she's a shy person just feed her and she'll warm up to you, just like your sister did when we first met" Kaden says with a wink as my sister looked at him with a frown,

"Whatever, your the one that was all touchy and what not when we first met. How else was I supposed to react when you fed me delicious stuff?" She says rolling her eyes as I chuckled,

"I think the only problem I got is her older brother" I say as Jason popped up out of no where,

"Over protective huh?" Jason asks with a smirk leaning against the kitchen table as I nodded,

"I thought I was gonna end up fighting him off when he kept pushing me" I say with a chuckle as Jason laughs,

"Well I mean come on, seeing your little sister finally become a woman and have a mate is like watching something you grew up protecting and taking care of for a long time all of sudden fall into the hands of someone else out of the blue. And now all that worrying and protecting you put into that person all of sudden feels useless since all that hard work was going to be someone else's this whole time" He says glaring at Kaden as Kaden glared back in annoyance,

"But the main point is all you gotta do is show this guy that you aren't such a bad guy. That you are worth all those years of protecting and taking care of. Instead of being the guy that just snatches his sister out of his hands and takes her to some random place to impregnate her and finally let the family come months after to see the birth of the baby" Jason says with a smile before Kaden got up quickly,

"You got something you wanna say to my face!?" He snaps before my sister pushed him away from Jason who was smiling at him,

"Calm down babe, he was just joking" My sister says nervously as Kaden glares at my brother.
