《BABY GOJŌ {jujutsu kaisen}》chapter 41

❝she's the best copier❞
naoya was starting to get pissed.
originally, he had wanted to end this in less than three minutes, but now he was chasing the girl around the field, as if it were a game of tag.
"fifty-seven...fifty-eight...fifty-nine—"
"what the hell are you counting, brat?! stop messing around!"
marri just ignored naoya as the girl suddenly halted, making naoya grin as his technique required him to be in close range with the opponent.
though before the man could touch marri and activate his skill, the little girl had made a hand signal, to which a shikigami bird had arose from the shadows.
"no...way..."
it was exactly like megumi's, except maybe a bit smaller because marri was still young.
the shikigami then lifted the girl with it's talons around her thin arms, making her above naoya's reach as she stuck up a pointer finger.
"POP QUIZ: WHAT COLOR IS MADE FROM BLUE AND RED?!", the girl shouted.
"wha—"
"HALLOW PURPLE!", marri screamed as she snapped her fingers, creating a distortion in the fabric of space at an atomic level — deleting and erasing all matter in its path instantaneously.
all the students, staff, curses, and higher ups watched in horror as marri had wiped out a clear path that had nearly killed naoya.
the man froze for a second, to which that had prompted marri to search around for something in her clothing.
"POP QUIZ NUMBER TWO: WHAT'S THE UNIVERSAL BLOOD TYPE?!"
naoya hastily backed up as marri took out a blood bag, ripping it apart as she sprinkled it towards naoya.
"O NEGATIVE!", the girl answered herself, as she manipulated the blood into a large web, trying to contain the surprised sorcerer.
though before he could escape with his lighting fast speed, marri had commanded him, to which everyone was even more baffled at just how overpowered this little five year old was.

"don't move".
naoya's body involuntarily froze as the blood around him quickly turned into ropes, binding his wrists, ankles, neck, and waist as the ends of the bloody ropes stuck into the ground.
the nue suddenly dropped marri gently onto the ground, to which the little girl had started counting again, walking towards the higher ups, who had ever so slightly flinched.
"mm...fifty-nine...sixty...sixty-one...and sixty-two!"
naoya's fingers flinched as his entire body burned with fury. he glanced over at his father, who wasn't sure whether he was disappointed by his son or not.
the dual-haired man gritted his teeth as his glare was beyond nasty.
and when marri had neared the misogynistic man once more, he grinned.
"you gojōs are always so cocky that—"
"and you aren't?", marri interrupted, to which naoya seemed on the verge of bursting, just like when the girl had first met jōgo.
"sorry, sorry — continue", marri urged, to which naoya seethed as he used all the strength he could to pull his arms together.
he knew he wouldn't be able to physically hit marri with her limitless activated, so casting his domain was the next best thing.
"domain expansion: projection frames!"
"huh? projecting? you're projectin—oh".
it wasn't long before the two were encased in naoya's domain, to which on the outside, it just looked like a black ball.
however, on the inside, his domain was filled with films — pictures — of marri throughout her entire five years of living, which honestly wasn't a lot of films.
naoya smirked as he snatched one of the pictures that was floating around in his domain, shaking his head as he sighed.
"pity~ your mother just left you there huh? I suppose she didn't want a child like you because you're a girl", naoya mocked, to which marri had rolled her eyes, though the words did sting a bit.

"sir, just because your mother didn't throw you away doesn't mean you're a wanted child. she was probably forced to have you and now that's a real pity".
naoya crumbled up the film meanwhile he marched over towards marri, who just stayed standing where she stood.
"shouldn't you be on your knees begging for mercy right now?! I can easily end you right here, right now!"
marri yawned.
"not if I do it first".

"sensei, they've been in that domain for a while now...", itadori quietly commented, as everyone was on the edge about what was happening inside.
satoru slightly smiled.
"she'll be okay".
sukuna haughtily sat on his skulls as he wondered what type of domain the girl would cast — if she could even activate one, that is.
"are you sure that the twerp can get out?", sukuna asked.
"oh my, the king of curses is worried for my daughter? I'm honored", satoru teased, making sukuna quiet for a moment.
"and so what if I am?"
everyone around itadori had snapped their heads towards the boy's hand, to which the eye and mouth had swiftly disappeared.
satoru hummed, as he knew that the king of curses could still hear him.
"I think you'll be pleasantly surprised".
it wasn't until a few moments later that a crack had formed at the top of naoya's domain, to which the entire sphere had shattered like glass, as another domain had swiftly taken over, dominating those that were in the range.
sukuna's eyes widened a bit as he was now indeed intrigued.
"how peculiar".
