《BABY GOJŌ {jujutsu kaisen}》jujutsu stroll #3

❝she's 21❞
marri was a part-time model.
not only did she encourage women equality, she also advocated for women supremacy.
part of it was to spite naoya because every time the man walked past any billboard or such, he'd see the girl's aesthetic face plastered on it, saying women can.
but also just in case he didn't see it, marri had also made it a tradition to send the male christmas cards every year, where the card itself would have no context but only the picture of her and naoya back when she had beat his ass.
it's a good reminder for that misogynist, is what marri would proclaim.
hence why now she was running late to a dinner that was scheduled by her oh-so-lovely father because of a photoshoot.
"I-I'm here...", the white-haired girl huffed as she made her way to the reserved table of eight: satoru, getō, sukuna, tōji, megumi, itadori, kugisaki, and one spot for her.
"tsk tsk! you gojōs are never on time", sukuna teased, to which marri had scoffed.
"sir, just because you're a curse and you have nothing better to do doesn't mean I'm the same, okay? unlike you, I'm trying to empower women, ladies, girls, and those who identify as females, all around the world", marri huffed.
"yeah, you tell them gurl!", kugisaki grinned.
"plus, I'm here now, aren't I?"
"my princess's working hard", satoru sighed. "how did you grow up so fast? it felt like you were just four yesterday", the white-haired man teared up, to which marri had shrugged.
"mah~ she clearly still hasn't grown out of her sass", tōji chuckled, taking a sip of some beer as itadori nodded in agreement.
"touché..."
marri then snapped her glance at itadori, who immediately held his hands up in surrender.

"yūji, you little hoe! don't forget that it was ME who helped introduce you to jennifer lawrence. be grateful, or I'll—"
"okay okay!! I'm sorry, princess", itadori mockingly muttered, making marri glare at him as she took a sip of water to cool down a bit.
before the girl could grab some bread — for appetizers — her phone suddenly rang, making her groan as she picked it up.
"moshi, moshi?"
"marri...I...I CAN'T DO THIS ANYMORE! LET'S BREAK UP! I KNOW YOU'RE CHEATING ON ME. BYE!"
marri then looked at her phone as everyone stared at her, expecting her to cry or something.
however, the girl only sighed.
"oh well".
"huh? just oh well?! are you okay?! aren't you emotionally hurt or something? or is that a gojō technique too?", itadori asked.
"what? to hoe around and not catch feelin—"
tōji slapped the back of sukuna's head, making him glare at him, though he did shut up.
marri raised a brow.
"please, don't lump me together with my father. unlike him, I'm committed, okay?"
"then why'd he say you were cheating?", kugisaki asked with concern, meanwhile getō had placed an already buttered bread on the girl's plate.
"ah, well I never told him about curses and stuff, so whenever I'm not modeling, I'm usually collecting curses, ya know? so he thought I was cheating on him or something. I told him that I had a job as a secret agent, but he said, and I quote, 'hah?! a secret agent with so many hot guys around you?! do you think I'm dumb?!'"
itadori snorted as kugisaki elbowed the man, making him promptly stop.
"and I told him that half of them are twice my age! but he still didn't believe me! can you believe the audacity of that man? like just because you're insecure doesn't mean that you can accuse me with baseless assumptions", marri huffed, clicking her tongue in vexation as she angrily bit into her bread.

sukuna chuckled as satoru did too.
"I told you not to date curses or non-sorcerers", satoru hummed, to which getō had patted marri's back as the girl hugged him.
"wow, what a terrible father you are. is this how you comfort your child?", tōji mocked.
"are you seriously lecturing me on how to be a father right now?", satoru questioned, to which tōji's face had scrunched up at the disrespectful tone.
"hah?! at least my son turned out normal!"
"normal's overrated!! at least my daughter is doing something productive with her life, like being a role model for young girls and women of all ages!"
tōji suddenly stood up and slammed his hands onto the table, which prompted satoru to do the same.
"AT LEAST MY SON DIDN'T HAVE A CRUSH ON YOUR DAUGHTER!!"
"THAT'S NOT WHAT MEGUMI-KUN TOLD ME! AND AT LEAST MY DAUGHTER DOESN'T LIKE YOUR SON BACK!"
"WELL THAT'S NOT WHAT MARRI TOLD ME!"
the two then stared at each other meanwhile everyone in the restaurant gawked at the two, to which marri had a look of disbelief on her face as megumi slid down in his chair, wishing he could hide from the world.
a waiter soon came over and politely requested for the group to leave, to which getō had sincerely apologized meanwhile everybody had dispersed, planning to have dinner altogether another time.
marri was then left alone with megumi, who just awkwardly scratched the back of his head as he cleared his throat.
"our fathers...are really something else, huh?"
marri snorted. "you don't say...but is it true?"
megumi suddenly flinched, turning his head to the side as his voice lowered to a mumble.
"w-what do you mean?"
marri suddenly halted, which made megumi stop too.
the white-haired girl then flashed the infamous gojō smirk, making megumi divert his gaze as he heard a soft chuckle.
"oh my, didn't think you'd have a crush on me. is that why you've stayed single for so long, goomi?"
a swash of pink tinted the male's cheeks as he sighed, combing through his hair with his hand.
marri sighed, shaking her head as she started walking off, leaving the dark-haired boy with his own thoughts.
"sunday at my favorite café. twelve o'clock sharp. don't be late~"
megumi's head then snapped upwards as he watched marri disappear into the crowd of people.
the man then looked down at the ground as a small smile blossomed onto his face.
"I won't".

The Draw Of The Unknown
Mia Campbell is your average introverted loner. Not exactly satisfied with her life doing pretty much nothing of import, she's also not that willing to break out and make a change. Until, without any preamble or warning, she is bestowed with a cryptic system that both grants her magical powers, and also operates on the logic of a card game. Things begin to escalate from there. **This project is a bit of an experiment! For any given chapter, Mia's 'decklist' will be built by the community, over on our Discord server. If you find this amusing, and want to participate in the discussion, as well as find the complete list of cards, you will be able to find the link to the Discord server at the end of each chapter. Discussion in the comments is also encouraged and included as well. Each chapter and/or scenario will be intentional, but the cards used will be chosen by you guys. And the draws made will be done via actual drawing of cards during the writing process, for bonus author street cred.**
