《The Bride of Gojo Satoru》Chapter 20

"Hey baby," Gojo crept up to my side as I sat on the couch, and he planted a big kiss on my cheek. "Whatcha reading?" He rested his head on my lap, looking straight at me with his blue eyes shining like the sparkling ocean.
"A romance novel," I put the book on the small table stand beside the couch, and I ran my fingers through his silky white hair.
A gentle smile curled his pink lips up. "Correct me if I'm wrong, but it was about nine and a half or eight and a half years ago when I confessed my feelings for you." It was after I left my family house to live with him that I began to develop feelings for Gojo as well. Back then, each day was getting harder to contain because I was confused if I was in love with him. He always had a playboy air to him, so I couldn't tell if he genuinely liked me or not. He teased me a lot, said careless words of love, and poked fun about confessing to me. I didn't want to believe his antics until that day.
"Of course," I grabbed his hand and placed it on my left cheek as I smiled down at him. "You took me by surprise that day..."
Out on the streets of Tokyo, it was bright as day outside. Gojo dragged me out with him because he wanted to do some house shopping. Living with Gojo, I gained a lot of knowledge and experience by being with him. He showed me so much about the world, and I couldn't thank him enough. Gojo changed my life for the better. Without him, I would be rotting in hell. Seeing his eyes and smile made my heart go crazy despite me verbally rejecting it in his face. I couldn't help but mentally admit that I fell for him. I don't know what he did to make me feel like this.
"Ena," Gojo tapped on my shoulder, and I spun around to witness him on one knee.
Startled, I stumbled back from him. "S-Satoru...!" I squealed by his sudden action. What in the world was he doing out in public? Everyone was staring at us as we were the center of attention.
One of his hands fumbled something out of his jacket pocket, and he took out a small box. My breath hitched while my hands moved up to my mouth and covered it. Was he actually going to do this in front of everyone?!
"Kita Ena!" Gojo loudly announced, making onlookers stop to watch this sweet announcement from a man to a woman. "It's almost been two years since we've been living together." My heart was racing a mile away. My ears were opened, listening to his words carefully. "I know I never told you to be my girlfriend, but I don't want that."
My mood totally switched up on me. "Wait what?" I shook my head in disbelief. Was he trying to publicly humiliate the both of us? Or just him? I feel so ashamed now. "What's going on—"
"Instead," Gojo opened the velvet box in his hands. "I want you to be my wife!" He smiled brightly behind his sunglasses. The onlookers gasped in surprise and waited for my response. Everyone's eyes were literally staring at me now.
Their eyes were giving me anxiety, putting pressure on my shoulders. They're all lucky that I have feelings for this man. It's not because of his looks, but his goofy personality too. My face flushed right before giving him an answer. "I..." Everyone's eyes were growing wide, anticipating for me to say 'yes'. Gojo's confident smile never faltered. "...do. I do!"

Everyone cheered for us as me and Gojo embraced.
"Wasn't that a bit unfair though? You didn't even ask me to be your girlfriend. You went straight into marriage." I criticized his past action.
Then his thumb purposefully grazed my bottom lip. My lip was dragged along until his thumb reached its end. "I don't think it was unfair. Technically, we were engaged from the start, but I was solidifying it. There's no point of making you my girlfriend if a fiancée was better. I still want to make you my wife, but we just don't have the time to..."
"I know. The jujutsu world has been getting out of control for the past few years. We can't really exchange vows without you leaving." I sighed in sadness. I didn't really think being with him would be so hard. So many years passed by, and having an actual wedding wasn't that important. It's okay if a real wedding can't happen; all that matters was that love is still between us.
"Yes, babe. We will find a day when we can finally, just finally say 'I do' at a church."
Gojo quickly sat up on my lap, and I winced in pain. "Satoru, you're heavy...!" His whole body weight was crushing my thighs. What hurts more was his boney ass making me feel uncomfortable too. "Sit on the couch!" I hit his legs, pleading for him to get off before he crippled me.
"Nooooo, I wanna stay like this!" Gojo wrapped his arms behind my neck, pulling himself closer to me. He snuggled his cheek against mine. His warmth radiated to me as our soft cheeks grinded. Gojo felt like a puppy.
As seconds passed by, my thighs were burning in excruciating pain. It's kind of going numb. "Babe, I'm telling you to get off... Break my legs and we're not going to be having sex in the near future." That was the only way to get through to his thick skull. He's only been caring about producing more babies like Naozumi is enough. I don't think I'm gonna get pregnant anytime soon. Naozumi was the miracle child.
"Okay, okay! Don't go that far though. I'm human, and I have human needs." Gojo finally got off of me and sat right beside me.
I scoffed, "We do it almost every single day. How are you not tired?" I leaned my head on his shoulder. His sex drive was too high. It made me wonder if he was always this horny before he met me. With his handsome face, he really could've turned into a playboy. Shooting my eyes up at him, he sensed my lingering stares and glanced down at me too.
"Is my baby beguiled by my looks?"
"Always,"
Then Gojo brought up a topic which made me look around if Naozumi was present in the living room but he wasn't. "On the topic of sex, remember our first time doing it?" He gleefully smiled, chuckling as if it was the best moment in our relationship. A rosy color tinted his cheeks, as the memory played in his empty head.
"Ughhh... You're a liar! Abstinence till marriage. That's what we agreed on until we got into a heated argument with me, and at the end, we did it."
"But babe, I am human with human needs." He's bringing up that bullshit saying again. "Didn't you know it was hard to hold back for a few years after I did the proposal in public!" Gojo slightly whined, running his left hand up and down my thigh.

"Hey! Don't you get needy with me right now." I quickly snapped before he could drag me to bed and ruin me. "I'm pretty sure you could've been satisfied with a fleshlight or your hands—oh I know! A grapefruit. I've seen that method of relief circling around the web..." I can't imagine him using a toy or a diy item if he could just use his hands but I wouldn't know. He said he's human with human needs, so he might've gone far and beyond to even buy toys on himself.
"Ena, no. I wouldn't want citrus fruit on my friend. It sounds like it'll sting, you crazy... And I don't need a fleshlight if I knew I would have yours—Ack!"
Smack!
I hit him for being so careless with his words. If he rephrased it better then I couldn't have hit him. "Oh, you sounded soooo confident because you have game huh?"
We came back home after our dinner at a fancy restaurant. Gojo dressed in a nice black tuxedo which made my skin hot because he's naturally attractive. I dressed in a long sleeved champagne plunge neck twist front long satin dress with a thigh high slit. If I made one small move, my whole underwear would've been exposed in the public. I felt sexy because it was a plunge neck and high slit, and I was gaining some attention from men around me, so I knew I looked hot as hell. However, Gojo's been grumpy ever since he stepped foot in the restaurant and out of it. He hadn't said a word since we got home, and he's not acting like his usual self.
"Satoru, what's wrong?" I grabbed his wrist before he could storm off to the bedroom. I'm very concerned about him. He's rarely mad, so something must've really ticked him off.
Unlike his usual self, he shot me an icy look with his blue eyes. Chill ran down my spine. If looks could kill, he could definitely kill me right now. Something was wrong... "Oh, I don't know," Gojo sarcastically said, ripping himself away from me and slowly trudding to the bedroom. "I can tell at the restaurant you loved all those lingering eyes on you. They were staring intensely at your slit, anticipating a gust of wind to blow your dress apart so they can see your underwear! Or you bending over to pick up something you dropped on the floor, so they can see more of your cleavage!"
Taken back, my eyes widened from his bizarre words. I've never felt so infuriated by him, never to this extent. Instead of crying because he's indirectly calling me a slut, I hit his arm as hard as I could to snap him out of his stupidity. He's going to catch these hands.
Smack!
I'm a bad bitch who doesn't cry over this. If he wanted to be a little dick, then I'll show him no mercy from my attitude.
"Oh? So I'm the problem?! If you want to get mad at me for looking so sexy in the damn restaurant, then blame yourself for buying this dress for me!!" This dumbass fool bought this stupid dress for me to begin! How can he act so stupid when I wanted to wear this out?! "This dress is expensive, so I wore it since I don't think I'll ever wear it to any fancy event!" I yelled at him, waving my arms in the air. "Maybe I should get mad at you for letting girls jump on you when we're together!!" I gave him a whole list of why I should fight his dumbass for being a hypocrite.
We argued for the stupidest shit that irritated us.
Suddenly, he grabbed my shoulders as he pulled me close to him. I wasn't phased by his quick action since I'm still agitated. Our closeness made me want to punch his handsome face. "You have every reason to be mad at me, but I can't stand them undressing you with their eyes!" Gojo aggressively smashed his lips against mine. His raging lips were warming mine as it once were directing its mindless behavior at me. His hands burned my skin with passion as he carried me to the bed.
Clothes were scattered everywhere on the next day we woke up in bed, and we were naked too. I knew we had steamy sex by the looks of it. My whole body ached...freaking Gojo.
"Hey babe, why don't we have an informal wedding? We get a pastor and exchange vows." That didn't sound like a bad idea since it wouldn't be too much of a preparation. I didn't desire to have a big or small wedding anyways. As time went on, I just wanted to exchange vows and make us legally married through the system.
"That sounds great! When should we?" I lifted up my head and looked at him with excitement brimming in my eyes.
"After I come back from my business trip within a few days." Gojo leaned over and kissed my lips. His soft pink lips pressed lightly against mine, and I tackled him down as happiness bloomed over my heart. After ten years of meeting each other and nine or eight years of him officially proposing to me, I will finally be able to say I do to him.
Gojo then changed the topic. "Did you know Sukuna and Nozomi haven't been in contact for a while?"
I gave him a confused look as my face contorted. "Huh? How do you know? Are you a gossip girl?" I didn't think he would care about Sukuna since he's out of my hair. If Sukuna wanted to talk to Nozomi, it didn't matter to me because I'm not the one he wants anymore.
"It's from Yuji, so I would have to know, duh." His fingers reached out and pinched my cheek before pulling back. "I don't know. I just find it weird because he's been yearning for his Nozomi ever since he laid eyes on you... So I assume he would constantly be in contact with her. You should check up on her later and see what's up."
"We'll see. I don't want to meddle in their relationship."
Thump! Thump!
Running footsteps from the backyard came towards the living room where Gojo and I were at. "Mommy! Daddy!" Naozumi's cheeks were red as he panted our names out.
"Yes, baby?" Naozumi jumped on my lap as he laid on me. His heaving body was trying to catch its breath from whatever he was doing outside.
"How... How did you and daddy meet?" His shining golden eyes twinkled like stars in the night sky. Naozumi looked eager to know the love story between me and his daddy. I don't think he's ready to know it. It's a long story too.
"Nao—" Just when I was going to change the subject, Gojo decided to insert himself and ruin Naozumi's ears.
"Let me tell you! This story is very good! Your mommy laid eyes on me and fell in love saying, 'oh my goodness! Who is this handsome man? I am in love!'" If Naozumi wasn't here, I would've socked his face. I'm holding myself back.
"That did not happen! You casually kidnapped me, saying you're here on behalf of my family! I should've screamed and yelled!"
A few days passed and Gojo was on his business trip with Naozumi.
"Hi, kids." I placed my hands on the podium in their classroom as I spoke to Gojo's students. "I'm your teacher for today since your real teacher is gone. He has a business trip to attend, and he brought Naozumi with him so I'm alone at home. He said that Nao will ward off any unwanted spirits," By that he meant the higher ups and if he encountered Utahime too. "So I went out of my way to be your teacher today!"
The three students of his sighed in relief.
"Thank goodness!" Kugisaki kicked back in her chair. I'm pretty sure he took a business trip because he didn't want to be killed by Kugisaki again. I don't regret coming to school to see Gojo in a skirt. I'll make him play maid so he can tend his mistress AKA me.
"Ena-Sensei, what are we doing today?" Megumi asked what's been dreading in my head. I don't know how to be a teacher, so I can't teach them well like Gojo would.
"You're going to be cleansing this cursed building. From the papers I read, it's a level 2 which means you guys can handle it." Ijichi was the one to give me their mission since this was all new to me. I never taught in my life, but I'm assigned as Gojo's part-time teacher assistant. It's funny because for my whole life, I've been at home raising Naozumi. I popped in and out of his classrooms throughout the year but that's mainly it.
"Is that all?" Kugisaki seriously asked as her eyes intensely stared at me. Her eyes looked like they were out to kill me, but I know she means no harm because I didn't do anything to offend her.
"Yeah...? Did you want me to be like my idiotic soon-to-be husband?" Did they like Gojo's teaching? It seemed more like irresponsibility placed on his students rather than actually teaching them.
"Whaaaaat?! You're not married?!" Yuji and Kugisaki shouted in unison. Megumi probably knew the answer or didn't care, I don't remember.
I shook my head. "No not yet. It's not an easy life when people want to kill your teacher, my fiancé, my son's father. So we've been postponing it until he comes back from his business trip!!" I smiled in content, imagining how amazing it'll feel to be legally married. It's not going to be any different, but I don't care. "Enough about me, let's go to your mission."
At the cursed building site, I waited outside for them as I sat against a wall. For some reason Nozomi popped inside my head because Gojo brought it up a few days ago, and I decided to give her a call.
The phone dialed for a moment before she finally answered. "Hello?"
"Hi, Nozomi!" It's so weird to say her name because I've been mistaken as her. "It's been a while since I last saw you." She literally tried to kill me for having her face. Gosh she's crazy. "How have you and Sukuna been?"
She inhaled sharply as if I hit a wound. "I... He hasn't been contacting me. He's been very cold to me lately." Nozomi couldn't explain his odd behavior. Whenever she tried to meet up with him, Sukuna would reject and make up excuses. "I really really want to be with him! It's weird how he's not letting me in. It felt so good when we first met!" Nozomi sounded miserable because she's been searching for him over many years. Her soul was unsettled.
"Hey, do you want to talk about it more in person?" I knew saying it face to face was better than through call. I bet she doesn't have someone to talk to about this matter since it's very complex. Nobody would believe her if she said that her soul was a thousand years old.
Nozomi sniffed over the phone. "Yes, I would like that. I'll send you my address."
10 minutes later, the trio came out of the building in celebration. They excused themselves from me, saying they're gonna head to the mall. I, on the other hand, had a person to comfort.
I used GPS to find where Nozomi lived. In front of me was an apartment which she must live in with her parents. I don't even know how old the girl even is. Taking out my phone, I texted her that I was here. I really hope I can comfort her and give her some advice. I am old with some wisdom of love and relationship.
"Ena!" Nozomi's bright face popped out of the front entrance of the apartment. "Hi, come inside!" She gestured to me, and I followed her to the room she lived in.
The apartment room was relatively small. She guided me to the dining table, and out on the mahogany table was a tea set. "I brew some tea right before you came! I hope it tastes good."
I pulled out the chair and sat. It's so quiet in here as if nobody lives here beside her. "Where's your parents? Aren't you a minor?"
Nozomi poured the tea in my cup first as the green liquid came out of the ceramic teapot into the matching teacup. "I'm 18, and my parents are overseas. They're scientists doing big things for the world." Her voice was devoid of any type of sadness. Did she not feel lonely?
"So, Nozomi—"
"Drink the tea first! I want to know how you think it tastes! I've begun brewing my own tea instead of buying the premade one. It's really fun. The one I made now was my own little recipe, so please drink first to reassure me that you like it." She interrupted, eagerly ushering the teacup to me. There was an uneasy smile on her tight lips, and I grabbed the small handle of the cup and brought the rim to my lips. The warm heat radiated against my mouth. I didn't want to drink it just yet, but I didn't want to make her anxious either and she brewed it herself too. She doesn't want her guest to hate it so I see why. My lips parted and the warm liquid rushed down my throat, drinking it like I'm taking a shot of alcohol.
I smacked my lips, letting my taste buds process what I drank. It had a savory flavor to it. "It's really good, Nozomi! You don't need to be worried over nothing!" I chuckled, showcasing a bright expression to ease her. "I'll drink more while at it."
We began talking about Sukuna as I kept drinking and drinking the tea. The taste was so addicting. I couldn't stop myself.
"So what are you going to do about Sukuna? Are you going to keep bugging him? Because I'm pretty sure he needed the real Nozomi to remember the past you both shared."
