《The Bride of Gojo Satoru》Chapter 45

26 weeks pregnant and 2 days before the final showdown...
Prior to the final mission of bringing back Gojo Satoru, we had our last meeting with everyone who was taking part in this life or death situation. I had my students, the clan members and leaders, and my dear Choso in the same room.
I honestly felt so exhausted and drained for the last few days. I really don't want to face Pseudo Geto in my pregnant state but I have to. He's targeting me after all, so I can't back down from this fight he started. I hope I just don't strain my body too hard. "Okay so, last week I sent Geto a message to meet me in Shibuya so he can give me back Satoru. Obviously it's not going to be easy, I know. It's the only way to lure him out from the shadow because I honestly don't know what would sway him."
I had Yuji retrieve the letter from Uraume the next day because my back was hurting and I felt lazy to even move. Yuji was the best person because nobody would want to harm Sukuna's vessel. If I sent someone other than him, they wouldn't come back alive.
"Geto gladly agreed with no conditions. I want to say that Geto and his gang might not know about this secret mission but I'm not too sure so be prepared." I do have a gut feeling that Geto will bring his curses regardless. He can't be too carefree about me just because I'm pregnant or desparate for Gojo's return. He's a clever man.
In the meeting we talked about how everyone was split up and where they'd be placed. I couldn't let them get too close to me because who knows if Pseudo Geto will be able to detect them. It's better to avoid that.
"So what are you doing exactly, Ena?" Naobito asked after we all reviewed everyone's roles.
Clasping my hands together as I put on a smile, I told him my big part of this grant plan. "I'm luring out Geto and attacking him until I can weaken him... But my students will slay Geto once and for all." I have faith in Gojo's students. Their remarkable skills will show how strong they are to take down Pseudo Geto. If Yuta was able to heavily injure Geto before, I don't need to worry. In addition, I have Sukuna and Choso on my side so they will aid me. My life is in their hands.
"You can count on me to finish the job," Yuta said, assuring me even though I trusted him right from the start.
Then I leaned over to Kugisaki and whispered, "Hey can you pass me the chips I packed? Me and my babies are hungry."
"Sure,"
A pregnant woman has to eat when she's hungry.
After I received the chips, I began eating it. I had no shame because they all should realize I'm not only feeding myself but three babies inside of me too. Everyone kept quiet, accepting the fact I'm snacking.
We all continued planning until someone decided to enter the meeting unannounced...
BAM!!!
All heads were turned to the sliding door. There stood a higherup with a contorted expression resembling a devil who crawled out from hell. I don't know whether or not I should be surprised that they found out. However, I won't let them stop my plan.
"Old man, are you here avenge your little mutt, Gakuganji?" I sneered at the higherup. I know none of them expected me to kill someone.

"You—!" Before the higherup could lay a finger on me, my students were swift to jump in front of me as they acted like my shield.
I stared at the man with cold and heartless eyes. "I'm not a docile woman. I'm a bad bitch who will kill, that's why I didn't hesitate to kill Gakuganji. If someone is trying to kill me, I will fight back because you don't get to decide when I should die. I will die a proper death when I know my children's future is secure." I stood up and daringly poked his chest. The old man can't bite back due to my students blocking him from touching me.
"Since your assumptions are heavily based on your own fears, where's the evidence that I'm conspiring with Geto?! Weren't you going to use me as Geto's bait? But now you want me dead?" I will confront him since I have the opportunity to. It doesn't hurt me if I don't get a proper answer because their power is already dry. I just want to make sure they can't get up. I want them to know that they have no influence in this society whatsoever.
The higherup gave me silence.
"Hmph. Lies upon lies..." I shook my head. "You don't have anything against me, but you want me and Satoru out of the picture because we're too strong. Now that you sided with 'Geto', you think power will come back to your hands but I think not! Everything will end off with your heads." I did a slit throat gesture to the old man. Their powerful days were over in two days. A new system is on its way after the world is back to normal. "Starting off with you!" I eerily smiled, signaling Choso to take the old man somewhere else to eliminate him.
"Wait! You can't do this to me!! I still have power!!" The higher up pleaded as he was being dragged away.
Turning my back to him, I brushed his words off my shoulders. He doesn't tell me what I can or cannot do. I have the upper hand in this situation. "Yes, I can! If I allow you to leave, you will spoil our plans. So it's better to keep you dead."
Rescue Mission...
"Mommy, please come back!" Naozumi pleaded as he cried through his white long lashes. Small beads of tears gripped onto his spidery, wet lashes and his nose was red. It breaks my heart to do this to him, but mommy has to save the world so my son can leave a better life.
Crouching down at his level, I hugged him tightly in my arms and kissed his cheek. I hoped my kiss lasted until the next morning when I'm back. For these past weeks, I haven't been able to spend much time with my son because of this big rescue mission. I know I should've been making memories so Naozumi could remember me during this tough time; however, he will remember his mommy as being a fearless leader who died in order to change the world and bring back his daddy. Although it's a sad thought to think about, I have accepted the fact that I might die but I also won't let that happen.
"Baby, no matter what happens to me, you will carry on my blood and live a happier life than mommy ever had." I pulled back and cupped his face, smiling at him so he knew how grateful I am to be his mother. "You're a blessing, Naozumi. You mean the world to me and daddy. When you were born, I was head over heels for you. You were a miracle child because I've been told it'd be impossible to have a baby, but then you appeared! You are my pride and joy." I will never forget my pregnancy journey with Naozumi.

Naozumi's golden eyes glistened, watering up as he got emotional from my words. I'm so glad that he understood what I'm saying. Most kids at his age wouldn't be able to grasp the situation we're in. He had to harden his skin to be strong just like me and pray that the next day everything will be alright, so the sun will rise after a stormy day and shine down a beautiful rainbow.
"Never forget who you are or where you came from. You are Gojo Naozumi, son of Gojo Satoru and Kita Ena, the two most powerful sorcerers and bear a child who's the next head clan of the Gojo family. No matter what happens, I will always be by your side..." I didn't mean to speak in a way which made it sound like I'm going to die, but it'd help prepare my son for it if it were to happen. "I love you, baby." I kissed Naozumi one last time before departing. He was going to stay at the Gojo clan house with his grandparents. That's the only way he'll be safe from what's about to come.
Naozumi's lips quivered. "I love you too, mommy...!" Then he turned his attention to Choso in the same room as us. "Brother Choso, protect mommy okay?" His voice cracked as he sucked in his tears.
Choso bent over and wiped his tears away with his thumb, giving him a reassuring smile. "Of course, Nao. I lost my mother once, I won't lose her again."
Parting ways with my son hurts so much. It's like I'm stepping on glass as my heart is being ripped out in a loop. He's my everything, and as a mother, I want the best for my child. Parents sacrificed themselves in order for their children to climb up higher than they did so that's what I'm doing. His painful eyes laid on my back while I disappeared from his sight. I can still feel his waves of emotions stabbing me, telling me to come back because he'll miss me. I'm going to make sure I do come back in one piece...
At Shibuya, everyone was in formation as some fend off curses to protect their homeland. I confidently strolled through the middle ground where I'm supposed to meet Pseudo Geto. No curses were going to touch me because of my reputation as Nozomi. I feel untouchable to a certain extent.
Click clack click clack
I stopped walking when me and Pseudo Geto were about 5 feet apart. There was a nasty grin on his face. He knew the leverage he held above my head—my husband. That's the sole reason why I made the first move to contact him. His ability to capture Gojo had me on my feet for a long time. I never knew there could be such an item to capture someone as powerful as Gojo. I'm going to make sure I destroy it once I get the box in my hands.
"Greetings, Ena!" Pseudo Geto cheerfully called, waving his hand as if we were friends. "How are you?"
I rolled my eyes at his chirpy attitude. Why does he have to act so fake? It's disgusting especially when he kidnapped my husband. "Where's my husband?" I cut to the chase. I had no time to waste chit chatting with him about irrelevant things.
Pseudo Geto pouted as he looked sad by the fact I didn't give him the same energy back. His shoulders slumped for a few seconds before gaining back his composure. He straightened up his shoulders and back and smirked. "Here he is. He's still alive after all these weeks." Pseudo Geto presented a box with eyes covering the exterior.
I covered my agape mouth as my heart leaped in relief. I'm so glad that he's alive. I don't know what I'd do if he were dead. This sense of solace made me want to cry on the spot; however I couldn't. The biggest problem was getting the box. Pseudo Geto wasn't going to hand it over to me like it's my birthday. He's going to try to make my life a living hell. Why would he be nice?
"Do you wanna know how I sealed your dear husband?" His voice seeped in darkness, wanting to find anything to make me mad.
"Shut up! I don't want to hear it!"
"Are you sure? You're not curious why Satoru got easily sealed?"
I shook my head. "No. Why would I? I know Satoru was fooled by your body but you were never Geto in his eyes." It sucked how Gojo was pulled in by a cheap trick. They played with his memories, bringing back his former best friend who's supposed to be dead since last year. I don't blame him for getting caught when Gojo literally killed his best friend with his own hands. The confrontation would be too real for him.
Pseudo Geto sighed, feeling his mood being killed because I wasn't giving in like he anticipated. He wanted me to be enraged but I wasn't showing it. I didn't want to give him the satisfaction. "I never wanted to negotiate... Rather I just want to see you suffer because I have no intention of giving Gojo back to you." He's already cutting to the main event because my reactions dulled him.
I snickered, tilting my head to the side. "Same! It's like you read my mind!"
I summoned my domain expansion as bright light engulfed the whole country—yes, the whole country because it's better to get rid of the curses in one go even if it strains my body. I'm willing to do whatever it takes to make this world a better place for the future generations. Holy relics exorcised low and high grade curses in an instant. Their bodies were turning into ashes, flying in the air until it disappeared.
"Purification pentagram!" I used another technique to secure Geto in place. I couldn't let him escape. He was going to die today. Watching Pseudo Geto struggle in my pure chains I casted, I was about to laugh until I felt an acute pain shooting in my stomach. It's like someone had stabbed me. "Ack...!" I winced, still upholding a strong profile so he couldn't see the sudden change in my emotions.
My mind was going haywire as I was trying to figure out why I'm in pain. Pseudo Geto hadn't laid a finger on me yet, so why am I hurting? To my dismay, the sharp pain increasingly grew within seconds. This time, I wasn't only getting stabbed but my skin and muscles were getting shredded. I bit my lips to hold in my cries as my legs were buckling underneath me.
"Are you getting weak this quickly? We just only began while you're already at your end." Pseudo Geto laughed, seeing the opportunity to strike again.
It's bothering me so much. It's intensifying to where I need to stop my domain and technique to save myself. I think the main reason why I'm feeling like this is because I haven't been properly taking care of myself and expanding my domain across the country is also taking a toll on me too. My cursed energy was beginning to thin out from also locking Geto in place. It sucked, it really sucked. My muscles were being affected now—they were aching painfully. It's like they were on fire, cracking down at my skin and bones. In addition, my lungs and heart were taking a hit on it too. The two organs were tightening, making it harder to breathe and send oxygen to my brain, to the point where I was kind of rolling my eyes back.
"Shit...!" I cursed as I felt my body losing balance and my power unconsciously disabling to save myself and my triplets from any further harm. My whole world was turning sideways as I couldn't stop my body from falling. Everything felt like it was in slow motion. The bright light and chains slowly disappeared, and Pseudo Geto evilly smiled like he obviously knew I wouldn't make it without failing.
PLOP!
I fell into a pair of warm arms. Tilting my head up, I saw the familiar tattooed face of Sukuna. I physically felt so drained. My muscles were burned out and I felt tired to the max. I never knew my abundant of cursed energy would be easily used up. I thought I could go on and on without hurting myself but I guess I was wrong. Breathing shallowly from my exhausted state, I suddenly felt something trickling down my leg. My eyes widened in horror. I didn't want to believe it but there weren't any other answers to assure my terrified heart and mind. I must be bleeding because I pushed myself to my limit. I'm under a lot of stress and now it's crumbling down on me all at once. I couldn't really tell because I wore black leggings too, but it's my guts intuition so I know it's blood.
"S...Sukuna..." I whimpered, on the verge of crying. I didn't want to lose my babies. I know I pushed myself to the limit when I wasn't supposed to. I'm so sorry... "I'm in too much pain right now," I couldn't tell Sukuna what I was enduring. "I need you to finish him...!" I winced as the pain shot through my back. I gripped onto him even tighter.
A serious expression took over his face as he read my condition. He nodded and gently laid me down on the ground while I did my best to conserve energy to break Gojo's sealment.
"Ah, Master, you finally arrived." I moved my head to the side to see it was Uraume. They looked pleased to see their master returning. I bet Uraume waited for this day to happen. I wonder how they were able to survive without getting caught and how they were able to find the imposter inside of Geto. At this point, I won't be surprised if their meeting were premeditated either. Nothing surprises me at all. This world is filled with shitty ass sorcerers and people.
"Uraume, I'm glad to see that you're still alive... However, I need you to stop everything. I don't want to rule this world."
While Sukuna and Uraume were having some type of confrontation, I heard running footsteps from the opposite direction and it was Gojo's students and Choso.
"Mother!" Choso scooped me in his arms, fear spreading his eyes wide open. It seemed like my pale and exhausted complexion scared the living life out of him. He looked so terrified that he could cry in his spot.
Reaching to soothe his face, I gently assured Choso. "Sweetie, I'm fine. My body is just tired from overusing it. I'm going to be conserving energy until I can get my hands on the box."
"I'll make sure you get it!" Choso said in determination before heading off to fight Pseudo Geto.
"Well, well... If it isn't Yuta Okkotsu and...."
I tuned out everything from my ears as I did my best on saving energy. I have to release Gojo today. I don't want to wait until tomorrow. Aside from my desire, my head was throbbing badly. Each pounding felt like I was getting hit with a hammer. It only added to my stomach pain.
"Come on, Ena... Do it for Satoru and Naozumi...!" I clenched my fist as I whispered, closing my eyes to balance my pulsating body. All I need to think about is my happiness. A future completed with two parents and their children.
However, my mind couldn't block it out. My hands wrapped underneath my belly so I felt safe and secure. In addition to doing that, I brought my legs up into a fetus position and I felt my damp thighs touching. This alerted me, scaring my poor heart even more. I didn't realize how far the liquid traveled down my legs. Although scared, I had to see what it was. I'm positive it's blood over pee or sweat.
My shaking fingers trembled over my spandex leggings and swiped across the fabric to get the liquid on my fingers. To my horror, I felt like crying once I saw the pigment marking my fingers. "Shit it's red...!" I can't use reverse technique since this was based on overexertion over wounds. "Don't stress it'll only make matters worse!"
I really forced myself to focus on the positive things in life as I talked to myself. I'm determined to keep my babies alive. I want my happy ending I deserve with my family and friends.
Then Geto scowled at Yuta. "HAH! Can you really kill me again, Yuta Okkotsu?! You should be careful where you're fighting or else I'll be attacking the vulnerable wife of—Gahhh...!"
"Long time no see, old friend!" Sukuna hissed with his venomous voice as there was a cracking sound of bones breaking. "You lay a finger on her, I will make sure to shred you up into pieces. I know curses will definitely want to eat you." Then Sukuna shifted his attention to Yuta. "Here, give this to Ena. I know she'll want it." Sukuna threw the prison box into Yuta's hands and he ran.
Inhaling and exhaling long breaths, I tried so hard not to roll my eyes behind my head. I'm physically weak to the point where I'm slowly blacking out from the pain circulating everywhere. But I'm doing my best to hold on until I get my hands on the box.
"Ena-sensei!!" Yuta ran over and handed me the box which sealed Gojo for many weeks.
"Thank you...!" I said through my strained voice.
"Do you want me to help sit you up?"
Thinking about it, it would be nice but I'm in a lot of pain right now. It'll only worsen my mental ability to think straight and put 100% into my work. "No, I'm fine like this."
"I'll stand by in case anything happens!"
