"Where again are you taking us Dad?"

"Where you taking us, daddy?"

Khlo chimes into her brother's conversation.

It warms my heart when they call me dad.

"We are going to spend some family time together while your mom is out with grandma."

Honestly I am not sure where we are going. I really just need their help to get me to marry Lai.

I know she wants to mend things with Henry, but I hate him. There has to be another way, and if there is, I know my kids will let me know it.

"Can we go to the circus?"

Kyle asks.

I look at Khlo grinning in her car seat.

"Circus?"

LAI'S POV

"He has brought up marriage."

I mention to Alicia, Kye's mom.

I hear her gasp and chuckle as she fans herself.

She looks and my bare wedding finger and tenses.

"You're not ready."

I shake my head.

"I don't know. Honestly, this is the most sweet, generous, caring, and loving Kye has ever been with me and the children."

"But? Why do I hear a 'but' formulating?"

She taps her hand on the arm she is .

"I just wasnt expecting to settle on something so permanent and so quickly. I do see myself having him in the rest of my life, but I need everything in order on my end so I don't burden him with my baggage."

"Like what? You've completed school. You own your own business and make your own income. Most importantly, your family is set. I understand that you are 24 and may find that pretty young, but it's time you really ask yourself what is it that you want."

I'm speechless at her words.

"To be frank with you- you are just looking for excuses. I'm not one to meddle in my son's relationships, but you asked for my opinion. There it is."

"Honestly I'm not ready."

"Then stop leading on my son and let him be with someone else."

I don't want him to be with someone else.

"That's not fair-"

"What my son is going through- the way he's losing his mind over you is unfair. Kye is a good man. Everything he does is for you and the kids.

Make up your mind."

I wake up from my dream.

I wipe the drool off my face and pick up the phone that woke me up from my nap at work.

It's Alicia.

Shit!

I have to meet her.

After doing Alicia's hair I go to Trenton.

She was going to come, but her husband surprised her and you know how that goes.

"Henry's the father."

I tell Trenton.

"Wow. What is his luck by knocking up the maid on his first try?"

I let out a deep breath.

He gets up from the seat that is in front of my desk and puts on his coat.

"He one time told me that he slept with the maid to get me jealous ... to get my attention. He did not plan on being a father."

I wish I could be there. This is his first kid. This is Aunty Rachael's first child.

"Don't cry."

Trenton rubs my back.

"I feel responsible for the birth and yet I cannot even see Henry or the child. I miss them so much."

"Did you tell Kye?"

I shake my head.

"I don't want to make things worse."

"I think you should give him more credit and tell him. Lai-"

He walks up to me and grabs my hand.

"One thing I am sure about is Kye loves you. He wants for you to feel the same way and trust him. Even if it's difficult, tell him the truth. He will respect you for it, and will be grateful that you trust him."

The door bell rings and my heart rate accelerates because I know who it is. It is Kye.

I gather my bag and coat and hug Trenton bye.

I then walk towards the door and open it to see my handsome man.

I smile at him and hug him.

He kisses my lips and I can't help my blush.

"I've missed you."

"We'll stop missing me and take advantage of this opportunity."

"So how was your day?"

I ask as he drives.

"It was eventful. Yours?"

I sigh.

"Good"

He turns to stare at me and then looks back at the road.

"Why the sigh?"

I shake my head.

"I don't know-"

"Please Lai."

He practically begs.

"Only if you promise not to get big mad."

He smirks and shakes his head.

"Okay."

I take a breath.

"I miss Henry and his family, and now that he has the baby I feel heartbroken that I can't see my neice."

He looks at me and does not say anything.

I play the radio to drown out the awkwardness.

After fifteen minutes we are home.

I go to the bathroom to wash my hands.

As I dry my hands, I don't even realize when Kye enters in. He wraps his arms around me and sucks my neck.

The water is still running in the sink.

"I don't want you to ever feel like you can't talk to me."

His hands caress my body.

"I hate upsetting you."

"You are the reason I smile firefly."

I cant stop my blush.

He leans in my back and reaches towards the faucet turning off the water.

I close my eyes and wait for whatever he will do next.

He grabs my ass and then walks away.

I follow after him into his room.

"Let's start packing."

He states and my eyes widen.

"Don't tell me we are moving again!"

I say in shocked.

"We're going to visit Henry."

My mouth drops.

"You pulled out his tooth! But-"

"Let's pack before I change my mind."

I roll my eyes at him and cross my arms.

Immediately his eyes go to my titts.

"You're not my father. Don't order me around."

He smirks and walks up to me. I want to back away but for some reason choose not to.

"I bet you I can have you calling me daddy with in half an hour."

I roll my eyes and start packing my stuff.
