《Walking With Jesus A Daily Devotional》Day Thirty

Day Thirty.
Verses: "'And I know that this man—whether in the body or apart from the body I do not know, but God knows— was caught up to paradise and heard inexpressible things, things that no one is permitted to tell. I will boast about a man like that, but I will not boast about myself, except about my weaknesses. Even if I should choose to boast, I would not be a fool, because I would be speaking the truth. But I refrain, so no one will think more of me than is warranted by what I do or say, or because of these surpassingly great revelations. Therefore, in order to keep me from becoming conceited, I was given a thorn in my flesh, a messenger of Satan, to torment me. Three times I pleaded with the Lord to take it away from me. But he said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me.'" 2 Corinthians 12:3-9
I know I have posted this verse before but I really wanted to talk about Paul. Paul was a hero of the Bible. Paul has done so many amazing things for God. But Paul has a thorn in his side that God will not remove.
I believe that God is an amazing healer but sometimes God chooses not to heal someone just like Paul. I believe I am a lot like Paul. I have many thorns in my side: bipolar, depression, anxiety, social anxiety, fibromyalgia, and arthritis. No one really knows what Paul's thorn in his side was, many people believe it was pride. But no matter what Paul's thorn was, God still used Paul to build God's kingdom despite Paul's thorn.

No matter what your thorn is, God CAN and WILL you use to build His kingdom.
I know that throughout my battle with fibromyalgia and arthritis, God has shown me that I can write devotions for Him and now Christian Nonfiction books. Now I am running: "Jesus Saves Ministry," "Jesus Saves Ministry Podcast," and "Chronically Caty Podcast." I feel like despite my pain and struggles God has and still is leading me and guiding me to build His kingdom.
No matter what pain you are going through: God can turn your pain into your passion and purpose (you can read more about that in my other book: 'Never A Victim, Forever A Warrior). God CAN and WILL guide you and use you to build His kingdom. You don't have to be perfect, you just have to be willing for God to lead you wherever He wants you to go. You just have to follow God and let God show you the way. God will grab you hand and help you through this. God will show you what your passion and purpose is.
God has everything under control, you just have to relax and trust in Him.
Prayer:
Dear God,
I may have a thorn in my side, but I pray that no matter what thorn I have in my side, that you will use me to build your kingdom. God I am willing to go wherever you need me to. Just show me the way Lord and I will follow you. I pray you give me guidance, strong, joy, peace, rest, love, hope, and wherever else I need to do your will Lord. I pray you grab my hand and be close to my side, every step of the way.
I thank you for all my many blessings and for Your Son.
In Jesus's name, I pray, Amen!

Greene's Monthly Contest
most writers don't have enough recognition. most of them only win awards based on the general aspects of a story; genre or theme, judged by the same things, not appreciating the genius behind the chapters. same awards, same results.--and we disagree with that.
