《Walking With Jesus A Daily Devotional》Day Fifty-One

Day Fifty-One.
Verses: "'Against all hope, Abraham in hope believed and so became the father of many nations, just as it had been said to him, "So shall your offspring be." Without weakening in his faith, he faced the fact that his body was as good as dead—since he was about a hundred years old—and that Sarah's womb was also dead. Yet he did not waver through unbelief regarding the promise of God, but was strengthened in his faith and gave glory to God, being fully persuaded that God had the power to do what he had promised. This is why "it was credited to him as righteousness." The words "it was credited to him" were written not for him alone, but also for us, to whom God will credit righteousness—for us who believe in him who raised Jesus our Lord from the dead. He was delivered over to death for our sins and was raised to life for our justification.'"
Romans 4:18-25
The verses above tell the story of Abraham and Sarah. Abraham was married to Sarah and they both wanted a baby. God had promised them that they will have a baby but Sarah and Abraham are 100 years old. But by the grace of God, Sarah gave birth to a baby boy.
What I love about this story is it seems impossible for Sarah to have a baby at 100 years old but God did the impossible and gave them a baby. Abraham had faith even when though they were 100 years old. Abraham believed that Sarah would still have a baby because God promised them, and Sarah did have a baby.
God can turn the impossible into the possible. God can turn your mess into your message. God can turn your pain into your passion and purpose. With God on your side, you can do anything!

I know right now I am really struggling with unbearable physical pain. Today I am getting my own wheelchair which I need the wheelchair but I am sad that I have to have it. My pain has just gotten so bad that I can't even walk. I have been very frustrated with God this week. I haven't been doing well at all this week. I am really struggling but now more than ever, I need to hold on to God's hand and trust Him to take my impossible circumstances into possible.
Maybe right now you are facing some impossible circumstances as well. Maybe you are battling a chronic illness, mental illness, cancer, or lost a loved one. When you are facing an impossible circumstance, the best thing you could do is: to run into God's arms.
You don't have to face this storm alone. God will gladly grab your hand and help your through it. He may not solve all your problems, cure you, or make the circumstances go away but He can be by your side to help you through it. With God by your side, you can and will make it through whatever you are facing.
I love the quote: "If God will bring you to it, God will bring you through it."
No matter what you are facing: you can and will make it through it if you grab God's hand because God is bigger, mightier, and stronger than anything we could ever face. By God by your side: we can face and overcome anything!
Prayer:
Dear God,
Right now, I am really struggling. I am facing some impossible circumstances and I know I need you. So please grab my hand and help me through this. With you by my side Lord, I know I can do anything. So I ask you come and be by my side and help me through this. Give me your strength, hope, joy, love, peace, and everything I need to win this storm. Together God, we can face this storm and I win. I believe in you. I love you.
