Just as y/n was starting to relax, the cart door swished open aggressively.
"Oh sorry I didn't realise anybody was in here!"
"If you looked, you would of seen." Y/n spat, looking up at the girl who spoke with an icy glare.
"Ah, you're new. Must be a mudblood" The girl scoffed. Y/n jumped out of her seat to stand and face the girl who dared to talk down to her. She had a sharp and fierce scowl plastered on her face.
"Excuse you! Mudblood? I'm a pureblood! How dare you!" She exclaimed in disbelief.
"Name?" The girl sneered with her arms folded.
"Bloodstone. Y/N Bloodstone. Daughter of Scabior Bloodstone." The girl stood opposite looked back in shock and her jaw dropped.
"Bloodstone? Ah. I apologise. Pansy Parkinson" Pansy greeted sheepishly. Y/n shook her hand, realising who she was. A Slytherin.
"Perhaps we got off on the wrong foot Parkinson". Pansy had a plain dainty clip in pushing her mousey brown hair out her face, a sweet smile and looked very neat and tidy with her buttoned white blouse, and simple trousers.
"Your family are high up in the wizarding world, so why join now in third Year?" Pansy asked.
"My father was hesitant. He said he'd teach me all I need to know himself. But, now I'm nearly fourteen I can make my own decisions, and I want to make him proud."
"I'm assuming you're a Slytherin like me?"
"I can only hope. If not, I'm sure my father will change it. He does everything for me" Y/n boasted.
They spoke for a while, discussing Hogwarts and their families before she felt the vibrations of the train slowly coming to a halt. She could see the famous castle in the distance, standing with pride.

It was so much bigger than y/n anticipated. Everybody swarmed off the train and walked in the direction of the castle. Polished wooden boats dance in the unsteady waters, that was the transport from the train to Hogwarts. Grimacing, Y/n steadily gots in the boat, looking in utter disgust at the filth of the wooden flooring.
She gasped as she saw the building closer up. The honey golden lights bounced off each other, the water rippling in the reflection. Breathtaking was her only thought.
Cobbled grey bricks hug each other around the castle, she brushed them going past. They all walked up the wide concrete staircase, where they were greeted by Professer Mgconagall. Immediately, she caught y/n's eye.
"Y/n Bloodstone?" She asked in disbeleif.
"Good evening" Y/n answered with a smirk, knowing everyone was looking. Hushed wispers began to swarm around the group.
"It is an honour to meet you Miss Bloodstone, an honour. I am delighted to welcome you to Hogwarts. I am Professor Mcgonagall".
"Pleasure to meet you Mcgonagall" Y/N replied.
Mcgonagall firmly shook her hand, and walked up to the top of the stairs to greet the third years.
"Welcome everybody to your third year at hogwarts! You know the drill, everybody in your houses. Professor Dumbledore is waiting for you." Mcgonagall exclaimed, cooing everybody to follow her into the Castle.
