Hermione pulled the curtain back and sighed. 

"Don't tell me you slept here overnight?" She exclaimed with her hands on her hips. 

"I can't leave him at the minute. I'm so worried."

"You chose to spend more time with Malfoy? Oh you must really love him" She joked.

"It it that obvious" Y/n replied and Hermione laughed.

"Just a bit. You're both mad for each other!"

"He just makes me feel so...safe. He looks after me and I look after him. I know he doesn't feel the same but there's something about him 'Mione." 

"Oh pass me a bucket!" Hermione giggled. 

"You have to tell him before it's too late." 

"He only likes me as a friend" Y/n mumbled. 

Hermione scoffed and walked out laughing, knowing she was being ridiculous. Snape dramatically yanked the curtain back making y/n jump out her skin. 

"Young love, how... exciting" He said in his monotone voice. 

"As...romantic as this is your lesson with me starts in half an hour. I will be seeing you there...𝘰𝘯 time."

Y/N nodded as he left, again, very dramatically. Y/n placed a kiss on Draco's forehead and headed upstairs to shower and get ready. 

What a bore Snape's lessons are. 

Y/n thought about Draco the whole time. She prayed he would wake up soon. After lesson, she came back to the hospital wing and saw him sat up. Y/n rushes over and pulled him in for a tight hug.

"Are you okay? How long have you been awake I've been so worried!" She frantically put the back of her hand on his forehead checking his temperature. 

"I'm fine I'm fine. I've been awake all morning" He replied with a smirk. 

"All morning? Even when Hermione was here?" He hummed in a way to say 'I heard everything'. Her cheeks turn red and she looked away. 

"Anywayyyy, are you going to be able to leave soon?" 

"Hopefully, I'm starving" He joked. Y/n sat beside him for most of the day until they headed to the Great Hall for dinner. 

Everybody turned and looked when he walked in with y/n on his arm. Whispers circulated the room as he sat down, but he soon warned everyone off with his death stares. 

"Good evening fourth years. It has come to that time again where we are ready to say goodbye to Hogwarts until next term. Tomorrow after your final lesson, you will make your way to the Hogwarts express where all your luggage will be" Dumbledore announced. 

"How has the year already finished?" Y/n asked puzzled. The year had flown by it felt like only yesterday they were discussing the Triwizard tournament. 

"It's been a different one to say the least but I'm glad the gang is back together so cheers guys!" Pansy exclaimed as they all clinked their glasses. 

After the meal, y/n started walking to her dorm when she heard thundering footsteps behind her making her turn. 

"So it's the last night. We may as well make the most of it" Draco whispered with a smirk on his face. She knew he was up to something. 

"What cunning plan are you brewing?" She laughed. 

"Meet me on the landing at 12, wear something warm" Draco rushed off to his room. 

Patiently, she was stood waiting for him, wearing a white puffy jacket and her Slytherin scarf. He jumped her making her yelp. "Idiot!" She smacked his arm playfully. 

"You ready for this?" He asked. 

"I don't even know what we're doing!"

She followed him down the stairs and through the corridors. Treading over the muddy grass, y/n assumed they were going to the forest. Draco grabbed her cold hand as they walked up the stairs at the Astronomy tower. All of Hogwarts was lit up, and the view was most incredible. 

"This is amazing" Y/N breathed. 

"Amazing but chilly" Draco replied as they sat lent up against the walls, looking over the lit up castle. They chatted for a while, but Draco brought her up there for a reason. 

Here goes nothing. 

"I heard what you said to Hermione this morning" He fiddled with his hands.

"Sorry it just came out I-"

"No. Don't be sorry." He shut her up. 

"The whole argument between us was over me and my stupidity. I was jealous you chose Fred."

"I was upset when you chose Pansy" She replied in a questionable tone.

"I'm sorry, again. I panicked". There was an awkward silence. 

"So what is this Draco? What are we? Because for nearly two years I've been wondering what 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴 even is" Y/n said, pointing her finger between her and Draco. He shuffled forward, now sat right in front of her.

"I've been dying to know myself" He whispers, staring into her eyes. 

Draco slowly leant forward, and her heart rate increases. 

 "You are beautiful" He told her and moved a strand of her out her face. He looked down to her lips and kissed her with all the built up emotion they had lingering. Finally, after multiple failed attempts. They let nothing ruin this moment, it was perfect.

When y/n pulled away, she smiled and sat to face the view. Draco turned as well and put his arm on her shoulder. The silence was bliss, all they needed in that moment was each other. They let all the negativity in their lives sit aside for the night. 

That one night, where everything felt perfect.
