The Half Blood Prince
She landed on the familiar grounds with a hard thud, immediately feeling a bruise forming on her shins. Y/n groaned and stood up, brushing the snow off her coat and hair.
It was Christmas Day, and she didn't want anything to ruin it. She thought back to that morning with Draco and how much it meant to her. She'd finally had him back, and there was no stopping them anymore. All she wanted to do that day was spend it with her loved ones.
Loved ones meaning her brother, Harry.
It was cold stood in the garden overthinking, so she took a deep breath which was sharp on her lungs and walked towards The Burrow.
Before she could knock, Molly came rushing towards the door.
"Oh, y/n! So glad you're okay I was half expecting you! Come in come in!" She fussed, opening her arm out for her.
"Thankyou Molly for having me today" Y/n spoke softly.
"Not a bother dear. The others aren't up yet it's only six, why don't we have a coffee and a chat before they're up?" Molly offered. Y/n nodded in agreement and sat at the kitchen table whilst Molly made two steaming hot coffees.
"So, tell me dear. Where have you been if you don't mind me asking?" Molly asked taking a small sip of her drink.
"I went to go see him."
"The Malfoy boy?"
"Yeah. That pesky Malfoy boy" Y/n laughed.
"How did it go?" Y/n sighed before telling her.
"I told him to meet me at Godric's Hollow. You know where my-" Molly nodded.
"-Yeah. Well, he told me that he had no idea about the plan. He told me he had no idea about anything and that he- well, he told me that he loved me."
Molly was visibly beaming. "You see? I told you he was telling you truth!"
"It just hurts Molly. Like I love him, merlin I love him but, he keeps things from me. In the past he's kept things from me. Big things like being a deatheater" She sighed, finishing her drink. Molly took her hands into her warm worn ones.
"It doesn't do one well to dwell on the past dear. He loves you, and he will go to great measures for you. I know a hopeful story when I see one, believe me."
Y/n felt emotional to have somebody care for her like Mrs Weasley did. She'd grown up with a Mother, just not hers. Molly seemed to have given her more motherly love in the space of three days then her 'Mother' ever did at home.
Just as they were sat in comfortable silence, they heard footsteps crashing down the wooden stairs, and the majority of the Weasleys poured into the kitchen.
"Merry Christmas dears!" Molly squealed, pulling each one in for a crushing hug. Y/n stayed sat down silently and shuffled her feet awkwardly in her seat.
She barely knew Ginny and Percy, got on well with Ron but the Fred situation last year worried her. She knew George wouldn't be over the moon to see her.

As they all started to fill in the empty seats, they noticed y/n sat at the table, smiling sheepishly.
"Y/n will be joining us for Christmas this year, so make sure she is made to feel at home" Said Molly as she prepared breakfast.
"Oh hey y/n!" Ron came over and gave her a light hug, to which she put her arm up still sat down.
"Hi y/n. I'm Ginny" The ginger girl introduced herself with a handshake. Y/n smiled back and looked up to Fred who was stood in the doorway, with George behind.
"The fuck is she doing here?" George spat in a hushed tone. Y/n's eyes widened and she looked down.
"She's alright mate, leave it yeah? Don't start on my behalf" Fred whispered back, unaware y/n could hear. "Hey Bloodstone, Merry Christmas" Fred came over and gave her a small hug.
"Merry Christmas. Is it too much of a hassle to have me here? I'm sorry again for last ye-
Fred placed his finger on her lips. "You're fine. Come on, sit down. Harry will be awake soon." Fred winked leaving y/n stood there confused.
Molly served up the food and not long after, Harry and Hermione came downstairs.
"About time you two!" Ron moaned.
"Sorry we were- y/n." Harry stood in the doorway looking shocked. It still hadn't sunk in that was his sister.
"Merry Christmas Harry" Y/n got up and gave her brother a warm hug to which he returned.
They both sat down and started eating, she ignored the dirty looks George would occasionally throw at her.
"So, you and Harry seem abit cosy, I thought you were Malfoy's bird" Fred laughed, making Ginny go crimson with anger.
Harry choked on his pumpkin juice.
"No, erm-
"Harry's my half brother."
"What are you doing step bro-
"Stop if Fred! You're what?" Ron looked like he was going to pass out.
"Yeah. We found out recently that y/n is Lily's daughter" Harry sighed, still not quite believing what he just said.
The table fell silent very quickly, nobody knowing what to say.
"Well, welcome to the family I say!" Fred wrapped an arm around her and gave her a tight squeeze. Everybody nodded and smiled.
"Is it present time yet?" Ron asked impatiently like a small child on Christmas Morning.

"Errr, kill Professor Sprout, marry...Cho-
"And fuck Lavender whe-hey brother!" Fred high fived his little brother.
"Well you didn't give me much of an option there mate!"
"Yeah yeah save it. Y/n! Fuck marry kill. Choose between-
"I really don't want to hear who my sister wants to fuck thanks Fred" Harry groaned, causing everybody to burst into a fit of laughter.
It was late afternoon at The Burrow, and everybody was sat in the den playing stupid games. The day had gone perfectly for y/n. She'd received a maroon knitted jumper from Molly with (the first letter of your name) on the front, ate her body weight in an amazing Christmas feast Molly made, then played games with the Weasleys, Hermione and Harry for the remainder of the day.

It was nice to have such a different Christmas compared to her others. She sat and thought about how different all her previous Christmas's had been, so empty feeling. No real love, just lots and lots of presents thrown her way to keep her occupied.
"It doesn't do one well to dwell on the past dear" She heard Mollys voice in her ears, something she told her that very morning. Y/n looked up at her brother, who was laughing at a rude joke Ron had made.
Things are different now, things are better.
Just as she got up to get another mince pie, an owl came flying through the window and placed a letter on the coffee table, before quickly swooping back out again. Y/n smiled to herself before rushing to pick up the letter.
To her delight, it was addressed to her.
"Who's is that?" Ginny asked.
"It'll be from Draco, he promised he'd write to me" She beamed.
Impatiently, she ripped the letter open, exited to hear from her boyfriend.
'Dear Harry and Y/n,
I apologise for interrupting your Christmas day, but I need you both to come back to school immediately. There is something I need to speak to you both about. You will need your things as you won't be returning to Little Winging or The Burrow before the school term resumes.
Y/n, all your belongings are waiting for you here.
Please see me in my office, Sherbert Lemon will do the trick.
- Professor Dumbledore.'
She couldn't find her voice. The last thing she was expecting was a letter from the headmaster, she expected a letter from Draco.
Bastard.
"Ha-Harry, come here" She motioned her hand to her direction. Harry got up and she gave him the letter.
He furrowed his brows as he continued reading. When he stopped, he looked at his sister with the same level of confusion.
"Do you know why he'd want to see us?" She asked.
"No, not at all. I guess I'll go get my stuff."
"Your stuff? Where are you guys going?" Hermione asked with everybody's eyes fixed on the pair.
"Hogwarts. Dumbledore wants us to return today. I'm really sorry guys."
*
After Harry packed all his things, the pair were stood at the fireplace, saying their goodbyes.
"I'll see you in a week mate" Ron gave him a hug, whilst y/n was being fussed over by Molly.
"And you're certain all your things are at Hogwarts?" She asked.
"Positive Molly. Thankyou for having me for Christmas."
"You're welcome here whenever. You're family now" Molly winked at her.
"I'll see you soon Harry" Ginny awkwardly hugged him, lingering for just a second too long.
"You night need to actually let go of Harry Ginny in order for them to go?" Fred laughed from behind Ron. Harry went bright red as he pulled away from Ginny.
"Ready?" He asked his sister.
"After you brother."
They landed in the Great Hall, y/n tumbling on Harry. They quickly got up and brushed themselves off.
It didn't take them long to notice something was off.
"Hey, Harry?"
"Mhm?"
"Nobody's here. Not even students staying for Christmas" Said y/n.
The Hall was eerily quiet. The glowing candles were out, the fires on the walls were out too. It was dark and cold. There was no cutlery on the empty benches either.
"Maybe everyone decided to stay home. Come on, we need to see Dumbledore." Harry walked out of the hall with y/n following closely behind.
As they were approaching his office, Mcgonagall was stood by the stairway that lead to his office.
"I'm afraid you'll have to see him first thing tomorrow" Said Mcgonagall.
"I guess I'll go to my room then" Y/n muttered rolling her eyes.
"I'll see you tomorrow y/n, and thankyou for today. It was nice" Harry smiled, before walking the opposite way to the Gryffindor Tower.
Y/n smiled and waved before heading down to the dungeons. She muttered the password and headed straight to her room. All her things were neatly at her bed, but her tie was missing from her uniform that was laid out on her bed.
"Must be in Draco's room" She muttered.
She left her room and walked to Draco's dorm. There was no point in knocking as it was Christmas, nobody would be there. Y/n opened the door and gasped when she saw him crying on the bench under his window.
"Draco?"
He looked up with bloodshot eyes and couldn't stop crying when he saw her.
"Draco, baby what's happened?" She rushed over and knelt by his side. He stayed silent.
"Tell me, you can tell me. Why aren't you at home? Why-
"I'm breaking up with you" He said quickly.
"What" She said in a monotone voice. Her mouth dropped down to her knees. Draco couldn't look at her.
"You heard" He squeaked, still uncontrollably crying.
"Drac-what? Why?"
"I need to focus. I have things I have to do and you're in the way."
"In the way? So this morning meant nothing to you?"
Nothing.
He was still crying, but refused to look at her.
"Are you seriously not saying anything right now?"
Nope. Nothing.
"Fine. Fuck you."
She snatched her hand away and stormed out the room, ignoring his cries.
Not stopping for breath, she sprinted back to her room, burst the door open and collapsed on the bed in a flood of tears.
He's all I had. He's all I fucking had.
After hours of crying, she fell asleep still in her clothes on top of her covers. She hoped it was all a bad dream and that she'd wake up by his side.

Fated Nirvana || Completed ✅
The Fated Series. Book #1. "A single minute without her in my arms and it felt like a lifetime." - Mateo Ramos My name is Mateo Adam Ramos. I was born into a family who's bleed for their reputation, and built us into being one of the most dangerous families to exist. You hear my name... you run. I for one am determined to continue upholding that reputation because that's in my blood. But things are never that simple, are they? Feeling and emotions got involved, and everything I thought I knew, vanished the second I met her. A soft souled, beautiful brown eyed girl who gleams with goodness found her way into my life. I shouldn't have played the good samaritan, that was my fault. I don't want to know goodness, and yet I'm drawn in like it's the light to cure my sins. This goodness has a name, and a face of salvation and I for one know I shouldn't get involved. Guess what I do? I get involved. Because even if I don't want too that's not really how fate works, is it? You don't pick and choose fates plan, you get slammed with it and good luck to your poor soul. This is my story, the kind that was written years before I was even born, and now I'm living it. Watch me make a mess of it too, because after all, I wasn't born to follow. P.S. This book is technically #1, but I have a book before this one that's about their parents. You learn more, and get a clue about their parents and why they are the way they are. Some of the conversations in this book would make more sense by knowing the past. It's not as well written, but if you can get thought it, I promise you'll love this one even more. Of course if you rather start here, then you do you! It will make sense either way! I tired to fill in all the gaps without it getting overbearing. You can always hop back to the book before this after.
