I sat down on the couch across from my father and said a simple " hi " then looked down.

" hey my little y/n I've missed you so much " my father says with a gentle smile

I looked up and asked " where's mom "

My father's gentle smiles turned to a frown.

He looked at my auntie then at me.

" I- I don't know y/n " he says stuttering while holding back his tears.

" is she gone " I ask with a worried face

" we don't know hunny, one day she was their and now she's not" my auntie says cutting into our conversation.

" so she left me and my dad? alone " I say while tears started running down my face.

It was silent.

Nobody said nor did anything.

I got up and gave my dad a long hug. I let go after awhile then went outside and sat on the porch.

While I was sitting on the porch the front door opened, I looked back and it was my father.

He closed the door behind him and sat down next to me.

" it's just the two of us right now " he says in the most gentle tone

" and if she comes back " I say fidgeting with my fingers

" still gonna be just you and me buddy " he says laying his head on mine

" When did it happen " I asked

" we divorced after we left you here. When did you know we were gonna- " he says knowing exactly what I was talking about

" you guys always yelled at each other and one day she bought a man inside our house " I say

" That's wasn't really her assistant was it ? " I asked cutting him off

" no " he says then getting up and wiping his tears

" when I'm done with my vacation overseas I'll come back to get you and I promise we'll start off on a new foot somewhere else..just me and you " he says with a smile that hid millions of emotions

" I'd like that " I say getting up and hugging him

" so I guess this is goodbye for now " he says walking away and getting in the same car he left in with my mom a month ago.

I whispered bye and the car drove away.

I walked back inside and was greeted by a big hug from Layla, Josh, my auntie & grandma.

For the rest of the day I just hanged out in my room looking at the ceiling.

My phone made a noise meaning I got a notification.

I checked it and it was a message from a group chat that included Layla, Josh and I. They asked if they could come in.

At that moment josh and Layla came into my room with food and a couple movies, but then Dior came peeking through also.

" Dior ? When did you get here " I say with a little giggle

" me and josh were gon go ball up but once I got here he said he had a family emergency. But ion see you giving birth or sum so whats good lil shorty " he says sitting on my bed and eating some chips

I looked at josh and said " its fine josh you guys can go I'll be fine " I say

" naw we chillin we gotta be here for our lil y/n. So what movie we watchin ? I was think atl " Dior says getting up and picking up the cd

We all laughed and agreed and made the room dark so we can watch the movie.

After everything was over Dior left and everyone went to sleep.

The sun was shining in my eyes and I knew it was time to get up

I woke up and it was time to get ready for school. I did my typical hygiene things and got ready to go to school.

It was the end of the day and I was by my locker putting things always when Mikey came towards me.

" so you comin with me or what " he says leanin to the locker next to me.

" dang so y/n can't get a hello or nothin nowadays cause she hood famous too " I say closing my locker

I gave him my backpack and we started heading out the school.

We got outside and I still saw that josh and Layla were still waiting for me.

" naw not today, I'm going with Mikey. Don't worry I already told auntie Christopher " I say

They took my word and they left. Mikeys mom came and picked us up and dropped us off at their house.

" we goin inside for a min so I can get my stuff " he says

I followed him inside his house and sat down in their living room while he goes upstairs to get his stuff.

I laughed at her response and said alright. Mikey came down stairs with his stuff and we started heading to the gym a few blocked near his house. We said bye to his mother and started walking.

He started laughing at me .

I started getting close to the net but Mikey started getting closer and closer to me. He semi hugged me but he was reaching for the ball.

At this point I was hugging the ball. We started laughing. He picked me up and tried to shake the ball away from me.

He got the ball and made another 3. I was just standing their with puppy eyes

" that 3 was for you lil league " he says coming towards me and hugging me

We continued the game and Mikey ended up wining the game.

" I win " he says grinning

" ok what do you want " I say sitting down

I looked up at him and laughed

" your not serious" I say getting up and getting closer to him

" I am " he says still smiling

I looked around and the gym was empty it was just the two of us. I looked at him.

Our bodies started getting closer and closer then finally our lips touched. He dropped the ball and held my waist then we pulled apart.
