Star's POV

"Fuck" Jalen breathed out as he pulled out of me. This was our third round and boy was I tired. I need to lay here for a bit to gain energy. Star what you're doing is so wrong. You need to stop. I've been trying to stop but ugh, it's just so hard. I looked at the time and it read 7:30 am. I've been here all night.

"Ok, I gained enough energy to leave. Peace out" I say sitting up. I put my shirt on and look for my underwear.

"You're seriously leaving?" He asks. I give him a look as I look for my underwear because what kind of question is that.

"Ah here it is" I say and put it on, completely ignoring his question.

"Star" he says sternly. I turn to him and put my finger on my chin.

"What did that one Tik Tok say? Get that bread, get that head, then leave, peace out. Well you know I don't need your bread but I think you get what I mean" I say to him laughing a bit. Star you're so funny.

"How about you just stay a bit. I'll make you something to eat" he says now putting his clothes on. I stop and try not to laugh.

"Well one, I don't want no pizza pocket if that's what you mean by make something" I say and start to laugh as he kissed his teeth at me. Star you got some jokes today.

"And two, all the other times of us doing this, I always leave after. So why is this time different?" I ask him. He looks down and shrugs.

"I don't know. I guess I just don't want you to leave" he says and walks around the bed to sit beside me.

"Jalen we talked about this, no strings attached" I say to him sternly.

"Star i've been attached to you since the day you finally gave me a chance! Do you really think us doing this wasn't gonna bring back old feelings? Hell my feelings were never gone, they just grew stronger!" He semi yelled. I jumped a bit at that sudden outburst. I never knew that's how he felt. Well Star, you never asked.

"Jalen, we wouldn't have to be doing this if it wasn't for you messing up in the first place" I say to him.

"Star how many times do I have to tell you I'm sorry. What can I do for you to believe me?" he asks and I shake my head.

"When you show me how sorry you really are, I'll believe you" I say now mad and put my pants on. I walk out his room with him following me. My legs hurt SO BAD!

I look down at my phone and see a message from Storm.

I groaned and rolled my eyes. Now I have to ride with him. I know Storm probably has my car, and Heaven is most likely there already with Shareef. I turn to Jalen and he wraps his arms around me. I don't have the energy to fight with him.

"We have to go to the house for 8 so get ready" I tell him looking down.

"I'm already ready" he says. Oh...

"Oh" I simply say. He puts his thumb underneath my chin and lifts it up.

"I still love you Star" he says.

"I love you too Jalen" I say back. He leans down and kisses me. I kiss back and our lips move in sync. He puts a hand on my chin and pulls me closer. I pull away shaking my head. Start thinking with your head Star, not your heart.

"We can't Jalen. I'm sorry" I say moving his hands.

"Star I don't get it. What's stopping you from letting us happen again?" he asks.

"You cheated on me Jalen and you're still with her!" I yelled at him. I sighed and shook my head.

"Let's just drop this ok. We got somewhere to be let's go" I say calmly and grab my bag. I walk out and sit in his car waiting for him. I can't let myself get sucked up into Jalen's little games. I'm smarter then that. And plus, how can I ever trust him again.

He finally walks out and takes a seat in the car. He looks over at me and turns my head to look at him.

"This is toxic" I say to him.

"I rather be toxic with you then lose you completely" he says I push his head as he starts laughing. I look away and laugh to myself. He's such an idiot.

As he starts driving, he puts his hand on my thigh. I look at him then his hand and push it off. He puts it back and I push it off again. He does it for the third time and I pick his hand up and set it on the steering wheel.

"Ever heard of keep your hands to yourself?" I say now irritated. It's still early in the morning and he already pissed me off.

"Bro I can't touch my girl?" He asks and I give him the "dafuc" look.

"I am not your girl Jalen" I say and roll my eyes.

"You are and forever will be. And quit rolling your eyes at me. Before I give you something for them to roll" he says and mumbles the last part. I heard it loud and clear of course. Star don't act on it.

"Whatever, just hurry up and drive to the place" I say to him. I no longer wanted to be around him, or even sit beside him. As I sat there looking out the window, something comes to mind.

"You know, the calculations aren't adding up" I say and he glances at me.

"What are you talking about?" He asks.

"You said everything your grown ass girlfriend said was a lie. But yet, you are still with her why is that?" I ask him. He sighs and scratches his head.

"Let's not talk about that right now" he says.

"Actually no I think we can talk about it right now. Let's talk about what a toxic lying bastard you are. And also let's talk about your grown girlfriend being made out of plastic. We got so much to talk about" I exclaimed folding my hands. I seen his jaw clench and his hands tightened around the steering wheel.

Oooo he's getting mad.....I love it!
