《You Saw Right Through Me》This World is Mine

I woke up the next morning in my room. "What..? How did I get here?" I looked around and saw the attempt of putting a blanket over me. "I guess it was Kokichi." I muttered. I blinked and the events of yesterday flashed before my eyes. Miu... Kaito... and Gonta... I pressed my pillow against my face and had a good, long scream.
Once I let the pillow drop back to my bed, I decided to go to the dining hall.
I reached out for Rantaro's necklace and accidentally knocked something over. A piece of paper. I reached down onto the floor and read,
They were painkillers, a glass of water, and a book. I smiled softly and took the painkillers, hopping out of bed and heading to the dining hall.
Once I went, I saw that Kaito was trying to liven up the mood. "Feeling better?"
He nodded. "I'm not gonna die, don't worry. I just... cut my throat from coughing too hard." I sighed and sat down. We need to escape, and fast. There are no medications or any way to give proper medical attention in here.
I noticed that Kaito wouldn't look Shuichi in the eye. I looked around the room. "W-Where's Kokichi?" Everyone else looked around.
"We're not sure. I think you were the last one that saw him." Maki said. I sighed and looked at the food in front of me. "I-I'm going to go look for him." As I stood up, Kaito did as well. "I'll go, too. I don't want you alone with that guy." I nodded and we left the dining hall.
I heard Tsumugi's voice from the dining hall. "If we don't act fast, Kokichi's gonna kill us all!" I looked down as Kaito and I walked towards the dormitories.
"Hey, Y/N." I looked up at Kaito. "How can you tell... Kokichi's lying? You seem to be right all the time, so I don't think it's intuition." I made a breathy chuckle. "Well, when someone lies, they have a certain habit that they do everytime they do so. Like you, your pinky twitches." He looked at his hand. "It does not!" And his pinky twitched.
"Damn, Y/N. How do you notice this stuff?" I smiled as we entered the dormitories. I knocked on Kokichi's door. "Are you in there?" I pressed my ear against the door and heard nothing. I twisted the knob and noticed that it was unlocked.
I checked inside, and it seemed like he hadn't stepped foot in this place since I last visited. I shut the door and looked at Kaito. "We should check if he stopped by the dining hall."
Once we arrived, we saw Monokuma holding up two keys. "Oh, are those our prizes?" I asked.
"That's right! This ones the last real key, and this one's the real last key."

What?
He put the keys in the palm of my hand and disappeared. "I guess we need to find where these go." I put the keys in my pocket and Shuichi and I went to find where they were going. "Kaito, Maki, wanna come?" They both shook their heads. What's their deal?
Shuichi and I looked around outside. "Do you remember any doors that couldn't be opened?" He asked me. I was about to mention the love hotel when I saw Kiibo near a large, futuristic door. "Oh! That looks like one of the keys!" I walked over and saw a stand with a keyhole. I pulled out one of the keys and put it in, opening the door.
"It looks a bit like a sci-fi lab." I said once we went inside. Kiibo looked... concerned. "I feel like a mecha's about to jump out at me." Shuichi and I looked at each other, and we were probably thinking the same thing.
I walked around and found an opening to some maze-like hallways. "Shuichi, Kiibo, look at this!" They came over and saw the different twists and turns of the hallway.
We went in and tried to make our way around. "What's the point of this maze anyway?" I asked. "Maybe it's to protect the area that it leads to?" Kiibo assumed. That would make sense. We continued making our way around when we discovered this area with shutters and an electric barrier protecting it.
I looked up and saw a motion sensor above the door. "Before we figure out how to turn it off..." I took out my handkerchief and waved it under the sensor, making the alarm go off. Nothing that would've hurt us happened, though.
Monokuma arrived and turned off the alarm. "You can't get in without turning off the alarm system and electric barrier. To turn it off, you've gotta enter a 59 digit code in the control panel over there. I'll tell you what the code is, but only once, so you better memorise it."
He said the 59 digit code... and obviously, none of us memorised it.
"The area used to be important, but now it's just pointless, so might as well give you the alarm remote." Monokuma said. "Since it's your first time, I'll just let you guys in. I doubt any of you memorised the code anyways."
The barrier went down and Monokuma told us to simply raise the shutter. Shuichi and Kiibo lifted the shutter, revealing the exisal hangar. "I guess that's why it's useless now. All the Monokubs are dead, so the exisals can't be used."
I looked to my right and saw a hydraulic press. "I guess this is for failed exisals or something." I said. I lifted it a little so I could see how heavy it was. It's enough to crush a person... I guess I shouldn't point that out, though. I looked at a control panel nearby and walked towards it. "I guess this is what you use to control it." I muttered. Next to the control panel was a safety notice. "The hydraulic press uses an infrared sensor. For safety reasons, this device will come to a halt when it detects a living organism." I sighed in relief.

"Let's give it a try!" Kiibo offered. Wait, WHAT DOES THAT MEAN?! Kiibo got under the press and asked me to press the button. "W-Wait, but what if it doesn't think you're human?" I worriedly asked. "Don't worry. If I sense any danger, I'll move out of the way. I really wanna try this. If I don't, I'll never be able to rust in peace when I die." Rust in peace?
I slowly pressed the button with Shuichi next to me. The hydraulic press went down, down, down... and didn't stop. "Kiibo!" I pressed the emergency stop button, but he swiftly rolled away from the hydraulic press.
"Th-that was a close one!" He stuttered. I jumped over the railing and examined him. "Are you hurt?!" He shook his head. I sighed and looked at the hydraulic press that was inches away from connecting with the bottom part of it. I went back up and let the hydraulic press go down.
"What's that?" I looked over to where Shuichi was pointing. It was a door. I opened it and saw a bathroom that seemed like it hadn't been used in a while. I traced my finger over the toilet seat and the friction made my finger stop.
"It's dry.. that's not too worrisome, especially since Monokuma and the Monokubs are animatronics and don't need to go to the washroom."
Once we walked out, I saw a machine hanging from the wall. "What's that?" I went up to where the control panel for the hydraulic press was. "Oh! I think it's a paint machine!" I jumped down from the elevated area. "I don't think that is of use for anyone anymore." I said.
We finished investigating and went back into the courtyard. "I don't think the key can be used for anything out here. The love hotel was closed, but there wasn't a keyhole."
We went back inside and searched there. We found Maki, Kaito, and Himiko standing around a chequered door. "Is it locked?" I asked. Kaito nodded, so I took the key from my pocket and opened the door. "Oh, we still have the key. Maybe it can be used for something else?" Shuichi nodded. We all went into the room and I looked up.
"Those stairs go really far up." Himiko pointed out. I looked at Kaito. "Maybe it's your research lab!"
We went up the long flight of stairs and found a door with stars decorated around it. "Looks like you were right!" Kaito said. "I'm tired, someone give me a piggyback ride." Himiko said. I crouched down in front of her and she hung her arms around my neck. "Won't you be tired?" Shuichi asked. I shook my head. "It's like holding a feather!"
And I accidentally had an extra painkiller, but we won't mention that.
We went inside... and it was incredible. There were stars everywhere, and a cockpit for a spaceship. "Hey, come look at this!" I walked over to Maki with Himiko still on my back, and Shuichi following close behind. "What is it?" She held up a file she had found in the back. It was titled "The Gofer Project". The project that we all remembered because of the Flashback Light.
Shuichi opened it and read aloud to us. "The Gofer Project. The only way to save humanity from the disaster raining down from space. Burdened with this imperative project are boys and girls with exceptional talent. This is the purpose of the Gofer Project." Exceptional talent? Does it mean us?
I looked over Shuichi's shoulder. "The rest is blacked out." I said. "Dammit! Is Monokuma just screwing with us?!" Kaito said, irritated. "Are the boys and girls of exceptional talent referring to us?" Maki asked. "It's kind of like Noah's Ark." I nodded. "Noah's Ark was made of gopher wood!"
"It does seem related." Shuichi said. "But there's no Flashback Light." I suggested that we find another place since I still had the key. We left Kaito's research lab and continued looking around the school. "We've checked all the floors except for the top." I told Shuichi.
We found a locked door with a keyhole and used the key. I heard a ticking sound and told Shuichi to step back. The moment we did, the door exploded. I caught a rock headed for Shuichi's head. "These could've really hurt somebody!" He looked at me, dumbfounded. "Oh, is this a research lab?" I looked straight forward and saw a lab painted with red and black.
When we tried to open it, I noticed it was locked. Monokuma appeared and told us it was locked because the owner is dead. I held Rantaro's necklace. "Is it Rantaro's?" Monokuma nodded.
I bit my lip and looked back at the door. If we went inside, we'd know what his ultimate talent was. I guess his ultimate talent is somewhat important if Monokuma won't let us inside.
"Shuichi! Y/N!" We turned around and saw Kiibo. "Tsumugi wants us to meet in the dining hall!" We followed him back down and saw everyone gathered in the dining hall.
"What is it, Tsumugi?" I asked. "You know the letters Gonta found in the courtyard? Well the message is finished!" She told us what it read, and I couldn't believe what rang through my ears.
