I would up, Chaeng in my arms, feeling someones intense stars on me. I didn't know who so I rubbed my eyes and opened them.
It was Jin.
He stood there, arms crossed as he glared at me. My eyes widened. This to him will look suspicious. Her head is in my neck, legs wrapped around me and hands intertwined with mine.
"Uh- I- She's my best friend. It's nothing weird."
He scoffed. "Bro, that is the fruitiest thing I've seen since I've been here. And I met Lisa." He chuckled. "Are you two a thing?"
I didn't know what to say, struggling to read whether he'll accept me or not. "Uh..-"
"Uh? So you aren't? Or you are?" I didn't say anything because Chae moved, nuzzling closer. I saw a smirk form on his face. "So you are?"
I kept silent. "Does Eomma know?" I nodded. He sat down, smiling. "What did she say? Does she like it? Did she not question it? Does she know you're beating her?"
The last bit cut me off.
Beating her?
"Wait. What?"
"You're beating her?" He paused for a moment. "You didn't know? Check google." I moved one arm away from Chaeyoung, slowly going to grab my phone. Once I did, I went on google. "Search your name."
I did.
My eyes widened.
Kim Jisoo, rising piano star. Being born to a famous mother seemed not good enough for this girl as she is on the way to beat her. Currently 6th worldwide. Who knows? Will this be our new Ms. Korea?
I felt a smile form on my face. Jin is my Eomma's favourite and he doesn't know her rude nature. I've never told him about it because he likes her too much for that.

"Wow. I didn't expect that, " I said happily.
"Eomma won't be happy, " He said, laughing.
"Does she know you're here?" This strayed us away from the Chaeng and I talk. She's still asleep cuddled up in me. It's cute. It's also cute how Jin doesn't mind her position. He can't see that she's secretly kissing my neck right now.
"No. I was going to surprise her and appa." He smiled. "But when I went there yesterday only appa was around. So I asked where you were and he told me this address. Eomma wasn't there."
Has she gone? Already? She has stayed longer than usual so I thought she'd stay longer. "Oh."
"She's home now though. Appa texted me, " He said, a huge smile on his face. He loves his Eomma, that is without knowing what she's done. "I'm going to head home soon. Are you going to come?"
I glanced down at Chaeyoung, slapping her butt playfully from under the blanket. She's putting a hickey on my neck. I have no clue why, she's just being clingy. "No. I have piano practise."
"Oh, okay then. I'll leave later."
I nodded.
"You didn't answer my question though."
"What?"
"Are you two a thing?" I rolled my eyes. He isn't going to let this go. "I don't care if you are!" That's good. He doesn't care which made me happy. I looked down to see Chaeyoung smiling. She wanted to, so badly, laugh in my face and tell me she knew. "Aww, that's cute!"
"Yeah..."
Chaeyoung looked over the papers. She said I had to have an exam today. An exam on the piano. She said this is what she does with all her students and I don't get any special treatment. She gave me a smile before handing them to me.

She got rid of some 'useless' questions. Which I know she just thinks I'll find them hard.
No special treatment my ass.
"Start." She said, clicking the timer on her phone. She hopped up onto her bed and started to just do whatever. I didn't have time to look at her. I have to pass this test. To show her I can play.
Okay, I'm guessing most of these. I have no clue about anything. I can play, but tests. I hate them. I always forget everything during a test.
I glanced up at the clock. I still had a while left. I glanced at her and she was seriously looking over some letters that had come in this morning. Probably bills and medical stuff.
"Finished already?" She said, still reading the letters. I shook my head. "Carry on then."
She's always so serious. I looked back down at the work. I better be rewarded with some good bedtime after this. I worked my ass off.
I finished with the test, sighing in relief. I handed it back to her and plopped myself on the bed. There was a knock at the door, revealing Jin.
I sat up, smiling. "What do you need?"
"Are you done with your test?" I nodded. "Uh. I wanted to go home but Eomma won't let me go unless I bring you."
I saw Chaeyoung furrow her brows. She was about to say something when I grabbed her wrist to stop her. "Me?"
"Yeah, you." He sighed. "Seriously. I want to go home. She won't let me. You know how she is. She's a woman of her words. Get your shoes on, palli!" He seemed like he was in a rush.
"She'll come down soon, " Chaeyoung said seriously. Jin, feeling the tension, just decided to nod and leave. I got up, looking around for my shoes.
"Are you seriously going to go?"
"Jin wants to go home. I have to." I found my shoes, sitting on the bed to put them on. "Why? Was there something else you planned?"
I turned to her, smirking and raising an eyebrow. She rolled her eyes, pushing my face away. "No, you pervert. I was just asking since she hasn't spoken to you in a long time. This must be serious."
I sighed. "Probably about me beating her and shit about you." I pecked her lips. "I know what you wanted."
She blushed a bit, shaking her head. "I didn't want anything..."
I looked at her lips and watched as she suppressed them. "Are you sure?" I asked, pressing a finger to her plump lips. "You obviously want something."
"N-no." I moved away from her, seeing her all pouty when I didn't kiss her.
I shrugged my shoulders, standing up. "Okay then." I turned back to her, waving. "I'll see you later, okay?"
"Call me if something happens."
"I will."
"I love you ."
"I love you more."
I sat in the taxi, watching the raindrops race each other on the window as Jin just rambled on about his business trip and the holiday he was on.
We arrived at the house, my father already standing on the front porch.
I don't know what's going on.
Or why she wanted to see me.
But it can't be good.
It's never good.

This must be in the hidden gems collection " -3ndlesslove"This was, by far, the best one I've read. It just resonated with me when it came to Noah's POV. It wasn't something that just magically came together. It took time and effort for them to get to where they are, and I respect that. It taught me more about how to look at things so thanks a lot for making this book. I meant a lot to me. I will definitely read the sequel and your other books" - Generik_Jay
