I took the mans hand in mine as we slowly danced to the music.
"Everyone wants to dance with you, so I thought I would be the first to ask before it's too late" he said
"Well let's hope there all as bad of a dancer as me" I joke
"My names Guy and yours is?"
"Rogue" a manly voiced replied.Just like everyone else he was masked so I had no idea who he was. His muscles were visible through his expensive fitted black tuxedo. He wore a black bow tie and a black mask.A gold watch and bracelet were on either side, with a ring on his finger. His hair was scraped back and styled to perfection.
"Excuse me" the man pushed Guy out of the way and took his place, connecting his hands with mine and positioning the other on my lower back.He held me close to his chest ,unlike the other people I had danced with that night.
The music got louder as the dance floor was gradually filling with guests.
"Hello" the masked man said.
"That was rude" i snap
"It's my party , I'll do what I want"
"Mr Stone?" I ask in shock.
"Yes, are we just going to stand here or are we going to dance?" he questions
"I thought you didn't dance"
"I don't" he quickly pulled me closer to him catching me by surprise. A smile was spread across his face as we started to move to the music.
"I must say you do know how to make an entrance, I never thought you were one for the spotlight"
"It wasn't my fault , I didn't pick the dress"
"It was worth the money" he responds.
"You payed for the dress?"
"Someone had to"
"Thank you" i force the words out, but I didn't want to seem ungrateful

"You're welcome"
"How did you know it was me?"
"It's hard to ignore a pretty red dress"
"Yeah i suppose"
"Being worn by a beautiful girl" he added. His comment made my heart flutter.
"Yeah right" I scoffed in response, there's no way he just complimented me.
"That's what all the pretty girls say, you think I'm the only one who thinks that?, how naive"
"I am not naive it's all a matter of opinion" I snap
"Opinions?, you want to hear mine?" he asks
"No thank you" I quickly respond
"You have the body and the looks of a goddess, and those legs ,I think Olivia is trying to get you killed. Your hair, your lips, your smile" As soon as he starts talking I look away, but I know he has a smirk on his face.
"Your scent" he says whilst sniffing the air.
"But you know what my favourite part is?.....those eyes, oh those sapphire blue eyes, them eyes can make a Vampire blush" I don't know what he was doing but he needed to stop, my heart was racing ,I was weak at the knees.
"I might of believed you , but then I remembered you were a vampire, the notorious Ivan Stone to be exact, I bet you say that to all the girls"
"Am I that predictable?" he pulled away but kept his hand laced with mine and spun me around. He still had ahold on my hand as my arm was crossed over my chest and my back was pressed against him.
"It was worth a try" he whispered in my ear. He spun me back out then left. He left me standing there on the dance floor , flustered and confused.
"Please tell me everyone else can see that?" I question whilst watching Rogue and Ivan dance.

"Rogue?" Rose questioned.
"Do you think he likes her?" Chris asks
"She could be his mate" I add
"Did you see how he walked over there when that guy was talking to Rogue" said Paris
We all stood in shock trying to process what had just happened. Two people slow dancing isn't uncommon but when it's Ivan, there must be a deeper meaning.
We all spend a couple of minutes throwing in suggestions on why he was dancing with Rogue.
"Calm down , you've came up with all these insane ideas like she's his mate or he likes her , yet you haven't thought of the obvious one. He's Ivan, playing games and taking advantage of everyone is his favourite game, I listened to the conversation, he was messing with her but thankfully she didn't fall for it." confirmed Hunter.
He was right , that's exactly what Ivan does , how could we be do stupid to think he liked her, to think Rogue was Ivan's mate.
I spent the rest of the night dancing and making small talk with the other guests. The elders had left along with most of the other vampires and the girls. There were only a handful of people left in the ball room most of them were the staff. I wasn't that tired so I decided to help clean up and pack the stuff away.
"Oh Rogue you do look amazing ,Olivia sure did a terrific job finding you a dress, defiantly the best tonight" Miss jones complimented
"Thank you Miss Jones so do you, I'm sorry I didn't look for you this evening I was too busy meeting and talking with the other guests"
"Don't be silly, I'm glad you enjoyed yourself ,I bet you're tired go to sleep I'll do all of this" she says whilst signalling her hands towards the mess.
"No it's fine really, I'm not that tired anyway" she thanked me and I continued to clean up.
I had finally finished cleaning up when I heard a crashing sound come from the kitchen. I immediately got up and walked towards the kitchen.
"Miss Jones are you alright I heard a loud noise and-" I stopped mid sentence as my mouth dropped in disbelief. I couldn't believe what I saw, shock was quickly replaced with anger as I saw a scared Miss Jones being pinned against the table by her neck.
"What the hell get off of her!" I scream
"Well...well....well, look who we have here. Never thought id get you alone,I have some unfinished business with you, you little slut!" he shouted whilst he lunged for me. He grabbed me by my arm pulled me to the table.
"Who are you!" I shout. He takes of his mask and my breathing stops when I see who it is.
