《||Together|| Robin Arellano x Reader》Chapter 3

I've finally finished my crying session.
"I'm sorry." I sniffled, wiping my tears.
"You don't need to be sorry," Robin replied, still with his arm around me.
"Thanks, Robin." I smiled resting my head against his shoulder.
"You're welcome, and it's getting late, we should sleep," Robin suggested, I nodded in agreement.
We both lay against the bed, our backs against each other since the bed was really small.
We sat there in comfortable silence, as we began to drift to sleep.
I fluttered my eyes open, as I woke up from chatter filling the room.
I rubbed my eyes as I looked to see the grabber speaking with Robin.
My breath hitched as I tugged onto Robin's shirt, him taking notice I was awake, he grabbed my hand, holding it in his, comforting the both of us.
"Why are you here?" I questioned, looking at the grabber who was crouched down in front of us.
"I just wanted to look at you two love birds." The grabber looked over at us.
Robin and I didn't care for his statement, we were just scared, angry, and frustrated... many emotions ran through us.
"Okay be that way, silent... I understand." The grabber deeply sighed as he stood up straight, heading for the door.
"Wait... we're hungry. Feed us." Robin stated, with a stern cold voice, furrowing his eyebrows.
The grabber stood there in silence before speaking "I'll see what I can do." The grabber walked out of the basement, closing the door fully this time.
We both just stared at the door, in silence, hand in hand.
We both took notice and let go of each other's hands, flustered.
I can't lie, I did miss the warmth of his hand.
We sat in silence, drowned by our thoughts before our thoughts got interrupted by the door opening,

He had brought a plate of eggs and two sodas, as he did last time.
"Here you kids go." The grabber spoke as he placed the tray in front of us, before turning to leave.
Once he closed the door, Robin and I headed to the tray, I grabbed my soda took a big drink out of it, and Robin split the eggs in the middle as he did yesterday.
We began to eat in comfortable silence.
"Y/n..." Robin spoke.
I hummed in response.
Robin looked me in the eyes, I could see his eyes begin to water, and my eyes widened.
I've never thought that Robin would cry... he acted tuff at school, and don't get me wrong he is tuff, but of course, he would cry in this situation... who wouldn't?
"Robin.." I let out as I pulled him into a tight hug, the poor boy sobbed into my shoulder, I rubbed his back as I comforted him.
"Don't worry Robin, we will try everything in our power to kill that son of a bitch." I stated, my voice filled with anger.
Robin's sobs slowly turn into small sniffles.
"I-I'm sorry... I don't know why I did that." Robin parted from me, wiping his tears.
"Don't apologize Robin.." I smiled as I wiped a tear that he missed.
He smiled a little before sighing.
"Let's kill that puta," Robin stated with a rasp in his voice.
I smiled.
"We've just got to listen to the people that been through this before.. the people in the black phone." I looked over at the phone.
My eyes widened as I began to think about the string.
"I have an idea for the string."
I walked up to where I had hidden the string, under the wall.

I grabbed it, tying it to a part of the wall that had been sticking out.
"We can use this to trip him," I spoke as I finished tying it up.
"I have an idea as well," Robin replied, digging into the ground.
"We can use this as a trap, when we trip him, he falls into this hole," Robin explained as he dug deeper into the dirt, I began to help him, carrying the dirt and placing it in the toilet.
We had dug a decent hole, I grabbed a carpet that was beside the toilet, which I don't know why was there but didn't care at this point.
We both covered the hole.
We looked at our work with pride.
We high-fived each other with proud grins plastered across our faces.

The Stormcrow Cycle
Once a powerful and lauded witch, Ba'an salu-Ba'an now lives alone in a cave in the desert, waiting to die. When she rescues an outlander from certain death she becomes embroiled in a deadly game of politics and empire, of heart and soul, but worst of all--of hope and love and a chance at a peaceful future. Can a disgraced witch find a reason to live her life again--and if so, what price must she pay? The Stormcrow Cycle is a trilogy comprising of The Exile, The Lion, and Abomination. Tags or genres for each book: The Exile: romance, slice-of-life The Lion: romance, slice-of-life, politics Abomination: tragedy, high/epic fantasy (aka "Everything is on fire!") Updates once a week whenever I have time. Cross-posted on Wattpad and Scribble Hub. The CBMokedi cover will return! Excerpt: She looked down at him again. Young. Healthy, from what she could see, except for the wound that was killing him. He was handsome in a way that suggested a life of wealth and plenty. She did not think he had ever starved. Someone important. Her shadow fell across him, and he frowned. Blearily, he opened his eyes. They were amber and bright, even as he lay dying in the dirt. She could feel his soul, blazing inside of him like a fire refusing to die even as his body began to fail. He met her gaze, eyes widening in what she guessed was surprise—or shock. But he never looked away, staring up at her as though transfixed. Ba’an made her decision. She raised her hand and covered his eyes. In another moment, a murder of crows cawed as they took wing. The man and woman were gone from the road, leaving only the dead staring up into the sky. Note: This is a high-fantasy set in a low-magic world. The first book is largely character-driven and we really only hit the real plot in Book II, so if you're not fond of long epic yarns you ought to skip this one. I also don't include trigger warnings, but mind the "traumatizing content" tag--all societies minus one practice slavery and the world is indeed, rather grim!
