It all started so quickly, first you were watching a movie with your best friend and an hour later you were sitting in the back of a police car.

Your phone went off. "Hey Y/n! Do you want to watch a movie with me tonight? I got your favorite movie! You can also stay at my house tonight!" Said your best friend, Melody.
"Hey Melody! Yes, I would love to." you said back enthusiastically. "Okay, will you be there at seven?"
"Oh yeah!" You said your goodbyes and you went upstairs to change.

You rang the doorbell at Melody's house. ''Hey girl! Guess what, my parents aren't here!'' You grinned. ''This is going to be the best day of our lives!'' 'Oh count on it!'' Melody shouted and you went to her room to watch the movie.

While you two where on Medoly her bed, watching the movie, you sudenly heard a loud
"Did you hear that?" Melody asked.
"Yes, of course I heard that." You said and you took your pocket knife from your pocket
. "Why do you have that?" Melody asked in surprise.
"For moments like this, stay here." You got up and walked to the door, but before You could open the door, the door was already opening.
You jumped and stepped back. There was a man in a balaclava, black clothes and a gun in his hand.
Melody started to scream but you stayed calm. The thief began to worry and aimed his gun at Melody.
He shot her in the head. You were so startled that you threw your pocket knife at him and hit him in the throat.
The thief panicked even more and lost blood. After a few minutes the thief was dead and you were so shocked that you sat in a corner of Melody's room.
That escalated quickly.

The neighbors had heard Melody scream and called the police, who had arrived by now.
The police officers decided to send you to the police station and make further decisions there. You were dragged into the police car.

For only when the final Seraph lord is slain will the Nightmare truly end. --- Happy Holidays! I tried to get a chapter out this month, but there was just too much stuff to do and I got sick. There will also be more stuff to do come the month of December to the point that I don't think I will have a chance to finish the current story arc on a strong note. So, as of today, I will be going on hiatus until the holidays are over. I will hopefully return with the last few chapters of book 2 as well as the DLC chapters to help clarify Titus and Priscilla's powers as well as a look into their lives before the story gets crazy (maybe 6-7 chapters). These chapters are planned to take place in the day between Chapter 1.4 & Chapter 1.5, detailing the day they had before going to Nivandor. How the DLC chapters will be titled is to be decided. The DLC chapters will be posted here free as usual. Really excited to get a break so I can catch up on chapters. Even more excited to be able to start book 3 once the current story arc is finished. I want to know how you guys feel about the story, what changes I can make, at what point in the story I may have lost you. But until I get specific feedback, I won't know what changes might need to be made. There are about 14 chapters left for Part 2 of Chimera, give or take. I don't have a time frame for when they will be up but know I am chipping away at the chapters as I can. The Order
The Order takes place within the Human-led Empire, within Glory City. In this Empire in which Magic is policed and its use is regulated, Mages are required to have a licence in order to practice Magic. The Magically inclined, Non-Human Races that have lived under Human rule lived a markedly different life to Humans, which had led to a somewhat contentious relationship. A law enforcement agency known as The Order is responsible for maintaining Magical order, and is also responsible for doling out justice to those who break the law. Consisting of the Magic using Mages, and the more technologically inclined Knights, these Agents are regarded as protectors by some, but as oppressors by many. The tale follows the exploits of Izano Zuko, a mysterious man, covered from head to toe in burn scars and wrapped in bandages. He arrives in Glory City with the backing of the City Lord, unknown abilities and secret intentions. Trouble starts up almost as soon as he arrives, and Zuko is thrown into a conflict between the Order and an unknown enemy. This is a complete book, and I plan to upload a chapter every week or so. No cover as yet.
