《Not Friends》Run.

Two days after Daniel showed up, the NYPD officially handed the case over to the FBI saying that they'd find Harley faster because they have more experience in kidnap cases.
The FBI has since bombarded me with thousands of questions, which I answered all without hesitation. They assigned Ryan to help on the case since he'd found more than the police had since we'd reported Harley missing.
Micah and Daniel are trying their best not to freak out with each passing hour, knowing that Marilyn can kill Harley at any time.
For all we know, Marilyn could've already...
I try my best not to think of the worst.
I know she's still alive. I know the babies are okay with her. I just we won't be too late when we do find her.
"Mr Princely," Agent Guerrero called out and I gave him my attention. "We've just got word that Jermaine Kimes has been spotted just outside of the city. Our agents are going to find him, and hopefully, he'll lead us to Marilyn if he is working with her."
"They're together," I sharply clipped. "Before Marilyn went ghost, she gave us ideas who could be behind Harley's disappearing and she brought him up," I repeated something I'd already told the agents.
"We can't confirm that yet."
---×
"Get up," Marilyn harshly announced as she walked into my cell.
It's been god knows how long since Marilyn and Jermaine drugged me and have held me, hostage, since.
The past days have been hell for me. Marilyn makes sure to keep me fed but she doesn't keep Jermaine away from me.
Jermaine has made himself the devil of my nightmares. He's worse than the abusive man I knew back then. He's done things I prefer not to think back on.
My soul is slowly but surely dying. The only things keeping me from giving up are my babies. If I wasn't pregnant, I'd probably have given up on myself, on the hope of being found.
But as time passes I realise more and more that I'll have to find a way to get the hell out of here.
"I. Said. Get. Up," Marilyn repeated.
Without a word, I got up. My limbs cried in protest from all the beatings my body's endured.

I glared into Marilyn's eyes and she glared back into mine. At this point, I'd kill Marilyn if an opening showed it's way.
I have tried to escape before but every time I'm about to bolt, Jermaine gets in the way. But today seems different. She's holding a needle.
"I wouldn't try any funny shit if I were you," she forcefully grabbed my forearm and stabbed the needle into a vein and released the contents.
I let out a pained whimper and pulled my arm out of her grip. "What the fuck did you put in me?" I seethed.
"Let's go," she grabbed my arm again and pulled me out of the cell. Marilyn dragged me up the basement stairs back into the cabin.
I noticed how quiet the cabin was.
No one was here.
I pulled my arm out of her grip again and she turned with an icy glare. "Harley, don't test me. Let's. Go."
"What do you want from me!" I yelled.
"I want what's mine. Now stop the childish bullshit," she tried to grab my arm again but I moved out of her reach.
I looked around me for a weapon. The first thing I found a lamp. I grabbed it and swung it at Marilyn's head before she could come at me again.
Marilyn dropped to the floor with a pained scream and a thud. I ran over here making my way for the door. I tried opening the door but it was locked.
"No!" I screamed as I hit the door out of frustration.
I turned back to Marilyn who was weakly trying to get up. I grabbed a nearby vase and charged towards her and smashed the vase on her head again.
This time she went limb immediately. I didn't give a fuck whether she was dead or alive, I just wanted to get the hell out of here.
I searched her pockets for the keys and found them.
I made my way back to the door. I heard an engine outside and Jermaine's voice as he spoke to someone else.
"Yeah, she probably already has her asleep with an IV drip and that drug you gave us in her system," Jermaine said to whoever's was with him.
"If that's the case then the contractions should start soon," a woman's voice responded.

The voice was oddly familiar but I couldn't pinpoint who it belonged to.
The step got closer to the door and it dawned me that I needed to hide. I ran straight to the kitchen and hid in the pantry.
If they weren't so close I'd probably have escaped through the kitchen door.
"Marilyn!" Jermaine yelled when he stepped into the cabin. "Summer, help her!"
A moment of silence passes. "She's breathing," the woman spoke and my stomach kind of dropped with disappointment. "We need to wake her up, she's got a concussion. I'll go get my kit."
"I'll go look for that bitch," Jermaine growled.
The front door closed and Jermaine started shouting out my name accompanied with profanities.
When I heard Jermaine's footsteps as he headed upstairs I quietly exited the pantry and unlocked the door. As I opened the door the front door opened.
I quickly rushed out and silently closed the door.
My heart was beating so fast. It's safe to safe that I'm petrified. I looked at the mounts of trees before me.
Walking that distance is the only option for survival. I looked back at the cabin as I quickly walked away from the cabin.
I could still hear Jermaine yelling in the cabin and with terrible luck, he looked out the upstairs window and our eyes locked.
I stumbled on my feet as I picked up my pace into a jog than a sprint.
I probably looked like I was mildly jogging because I was caring all this wait I didn't have before I got pregnant.
"Harley!" Jermaine maliciously yelled out my name. I couldn't see him anymore because I was already engulfed into the woods.
I was quickly running out of breath and my pace was slowing down. I'm tired and sore and sure that if Jermaine catches me, this'll my last day of earth.
"You're dead, bitch!" Jermaine yelled and I stumbled on my feet and fell on my knees with excruciating pain in my stomach.
"Ahhh!" I let out a pained scream. I couldn't help it, the pain was so sharp. I felt like vomiting and lightheaded at the same time.
I could hear Jermaine's running steps nearing me but the pain just crippled me.
"I'm coming for you, bitch!" Jermaine's words echoed from his distance.
My tears fell onto the dirt as I tried my best not to scream in both pain and frustration.
I willed myself to get up when the pain cleared and I could breathe again. I worked my legs harder than I've ever worked them. I ran as fast as I could. The trees and debris didn't make it easier but I ran for my life, for my babies' lives.
This forest seemed endless. There was barely light in the place and I kept tripping every so on. My body was exhausted at this point but I still ran. I didn't want to give up on my unborn babies.
I wanted to live to meet them. To tell them how much I love. To show them that I can be the best mother to them. I want to watch them grow and if I stop running, it'll be like I'm giving up.
I'm not giving up. Even when the same agonizing pain strikes again. I try not to make a sound. I try not to fall to the ground to let it ride out. I try not to stop walking as fast as I can. I try my best.
But my body doesn't let me do the best I can.
Jermaine's steps grow nearer and nearer.
Jermaine takes a step closer and a loud gunshot rings throughout the forest. I scream, thinking I'm being shot at only to find that it was Jermaine that was shot.
"Harley!" A voice I've been longing to hear again cries out. "Tino!" I scream out I try to get up when the pain subsides.
There's a group of people with guns wearing bulletproof vests that have FBI written across them. The guys approach the wounded Jermaine while Tino runs toward me.
Tears of relief, joy and thankfulness flow from my eyes when Tino wraps his arms around. "Tino," I cry in his arms.
"You don't have to say a word," he says. "I think I'm in labour," I tell him.
That's when it dawns on me.
I going to be a mother!
