《FBI Agent》Four.

Monday arrives and I'm standing in my new bedroom trying to look like a regular sixteen year old. For the past two years, I've spent every day being a trained assassin and it feels like I've completely forgotten how to act or look like a teenager again. My nerves begin to increase and I let out a frustrated groan, reaching for a pair of jeans.
"Hunter?"
I hear my name being called out from behind the bedroom door and I sigh, sitting down onto the edge of the bed. "Come in."
The door opens and Micah pops his head around, dressed in his usual all dark combo.
"Do sixteen year old girls still wear jeans like this?" I mutter, holding them up. Micah tilts his head as he leans back against the wall before nodding slowly.
"Yeah, I think so. Pair it with a t-shirt and you're good to go."
"Thanks Micah." I smile softly, giving him a grateful look. He simply nods at me in return, his face emotionless. Despite the look on his face, I know he'll be thinking hard about the case. I know him too well.
"What can I do for you?" I ask him, rifling through my suitcase for a suitable shirt. I pick out a plain black shirt because I can't seem to fully abandon the colour. It's the one piece of comfort I really have.
"I need you to be careful Hunter." Micah says quietly, closing the door over. I frown and whirl towards him, speaking in a hushed tone.
"Why? I thought you told me this assignment wouldn't be dangerous. I'm not complaining, I like dangerous." I shrug. Micah looks at me intensely, dark eyes burning through me. I hold his stare for a few seconds —
"I don't think Veronica explained the mission thoroughly to us. This guy is dangerous, really dangerous. I'm guessing his son isn't far off either."

"You think I can't handle myself?" I ask him, one eyebrow raised. Micah pauses for a second and I narrow my eyes at him. His response should have been instant. I whirl around and within a split second reach for my knife inside my suitcase. It hurtles through the air directly for Micah before landing an inch away from his face, cracking the plaster on the wall.
His eyes turn a shade darker, full of thunder. I give him a sickly sweet smile in response, a smug look on my face.
"Trust me, I can handle myself." I say confidently, walking straight up to him and yanking the knife out the wall. I turn to walk away from him but he reaches out, gripping tightly onto my wrist to hold me in place. I pause on the spot, my body stilling completely.
"Don't do that again Hunter. You know I have faith in you."
"Don't ever doubt me Micah." I snap back, yanking my wrist out of his hold. I clench my jaw as I swing open my bedroom door, signalling for him to leave. He barely glances at me before whirling around and storming out.

I turn the corner and come face to face with the school building. The large letters spelling out greet me along with the swarms of students making their way inside. I let out a groan under my breath, swinging my backpack over my shoulder.
"Here goes nothing," I mutter, climbing up the steps and towards the building. I left school when I was fourteen, the day I became homeless. During my time at school, I struggled with pretty much every single lesson. That is until I enrolled with the FBI. I studied day and night until I passed with an A* on every subject. Now I would have to pretend to do it all over again. . . whilst trying to become the girlfriend of a high risk criminal's son.

As I make my way to Reception, I tried to remember every single face that passed me and especially tried to keep an eye out for Calvin Black's face. My stomach twisted with knots as I envisioned coming face to face with his dark piercing eyes but I reminded myself of who I am. I've seen some of the most terrible things known to man.
Calvin Black should be a piece of pie compared to them.
"Hi, my name is Hunter. This is my first day," I say to the receptionist and she gives me a warm smile, rifling through a folder.
"Ah, yes! Hunter, it's lovely to meet you. I've been waiting for your arrival. Here's your lesson plan." She handed me a piece of paper and I gave her a smile in response, folding it in two.
"Thank you."
"If you need any help, don't be shy to come and find me or any other teacher." She says softly. I nod my head, my mood uplifting slightly at her pleasant and warm welcome. It's not often you meet people who genuinely want the best for you.
"Thank you. . . again." I smile widely at her before stuffing the paper inside my backpack. I already have my first day memorised. I also spent last night studying the layout of the school and knowing where every possible exit was located. Finding my way around it wouldn't be a problem.
As I weaved my way through the crowds, I noticed the hostility from the other students which didn't surprise me. I'd be the new girl for quite some time until I fit in, if I fit in. I held an emotionless front as I ignored their stares and hushed whispers however the urge to roll my eyes at every second was high.
"Heads up!"
A voice boomed through the corridor and I instantly snap my head up, noticing a football whirling through the air. . . heading straight for me. I drop my backpack and put one arm out, stopping the ball in an instant. The corridor that was previously filled with the noise of students chatter suddenly grows silent and I toss the football between both hands, glancing around at their shocked faces.
"What?" I question, finally rolling my eyes.
"Nice catch Newbie."
My eyes meet with large blue ones and I smirk, tossing him the ball back. As he catches it, his shaggy dark hair falls in front of his eyes.
"Thanks, just watch where you're throwing it next time. Seems like it was aimed directly for my face." I say cautiously, one eyebrow raised at him. He searches both of my eyes for a second before chuckling under his breath and dropping his eyes to the floor.
"It was a mistake Newbie. I wouldn't want to damage that adorable face of yours in a million years."
A few quiet gasps can be heard coming from the crowd and I laugh loudly, picking my backpack up from the ground.
"Smooth, really smooth."
He grins widely at me, showing off a set of perfectly straight teeth.
"You can call me smooth but I usually go off Zack." He says, tucking the ball underneath his arm. His eyes briefly drift down my body and I once again roll my eyes. I can feel myself getting burning stares from half of the female population and I guess Zack is classed as a hot guy in this school.
"Nice to meet you, Zack." I smile before turning around and sauntering off. When I look over my shoulder, he's still in the same place, watching me leave with a smirk on his face.
I cross two fingers together as I hope Zack will somehow lead me to Calvin Black because at the moment, I have no idea where to find him.
