"I still can't believe you called the painting as a she," I laughed out loud while pushing Luke's shoulder, climbing down the stairs out the museum. It was already nine something at night and we still hadn't taken our dinner. After my sudden breakdown, I didn't know that Luke would be such a great listener.
I told him about my father and how much I have missed him. I even blurted out that my father was murdered by a serial killer and that I just got to know about it a day ago. Right after I said that, Luke tensed up a little. And then, he small smiled and told me something that made half of my stress fall out of my shoulders.
"In your black heart of hearts, you know you're just like me. My father was killed by a serial killer as well. I know it's shocking on how happy we are although a tragedy had happened to us, but life has to move on, you know? I bet your father wants you to stay happy and the happy child you are to him.
"That's what my mother always convinced us. I didn't quite believe it, but eventually I made a mental note to myself to have trust issues. They are a pain in the ass; I couldn't meet new people without thinking either they were going to hurt my family, or leave us halfway.
"As time went on, I realized that we can't be pushing people away and thinking why are we so lonely. It was time to give people second chances. It's all about forgive and forget. One person would have done the murder, but not everybody else is like them. Maybe things get rough as you started believing again, but it will sooner get better.

"You could get hurt over and over again, but that is just life. Without pain, you can't gain. Without pain, your mother wouldn't have been giving birth to you. That sounds awfully dirty; but that's not the point here.
"My father died about four years ago and ever since then, we started living here. Luke made it clear that he experienced the same thing and his words were golden that I couldn't stop replaying them in my head. As we reached Luke's home, I made another mental note saying;
