I'm just so messed up. Why couldn't I get him out of my bloody head? Why did I have to remind myself that he killed my father a few years ago? Why did my instincts say that I was wrong? Why was I feeling like he was not the murderer of my father?

All these questions in my head, yet he still conquered me.

Get out of my head, Justin.

"You have to stop overthinking, Hazel. Seriously, what even happened?" Michael had been asking me the same question for almost half an hour while I was just sitting there, crying my eyes out. "Did anybody scare you off?"

He grabbed both of my wet, sweaty hands off my red face and sternly stared at me. He wiped off my tears from my cheeks and grabbed both of my hands firmly. He took in a deep breath and signalled me to do the same as he did. I tried, but I would break down again after that.

He grasped my small face into his hands and took in another deep breath. This time, I followed his moves and somehow, he managed to get me in sync with him. I was able to breath normally, but my tears were still flowing out of my eyes.

He sighed. "I know I just met you, but would you open up to me?" He looked at me with wonder and concern glittering in his blue-green eyes. "I promise I am trustworthy. And innocent as heck." He raised both of his arms in the air with a slight innocent smile plastered on his pale face. I smiled a little, showing him that I cared for his effort of making me open up, but it was way too complicated than it was to adapt.

What was I supposed to say. Nothing, you know Justin Bieber? And Jason McCann? Yeah, they were both the same person. And he kidnapped me not so long ago. Also, I had to move to Paris from my very own country because of his psychological condition. He had murdered a lot of people, including my father. Just now, I saw him wearing disguise, saying he would get me back soon and I had to go to his concert next week so I won't hurt Shane's feelings.

Shit, no I wouldn't tell him that.

I didn't want to tell him that it was nothing, because certainly it was not and he would be sad. I also didn't want him to open up too fast to him, because strangers could be kind and mean at the same time. So I gave him the right words. "I'll tell you when I'm ready, I promise but not now," I gave him a small smile assuring him I was feeling better and instantly he gave in with a slight nod and a cheeky grin.

"Now who's ready to go out there and be the second best cashier here!" Michael cheered as everybody laughed wholeheartedly. A small laugh escaped my lips and I whispered softly to myself.

"Me."

He pushed me back to the counter and a guy moved away with a smile, entering back into the kitchen. "Now, shoo."

I served the orders perfectly with a bright smile on my face. When the shop was about to close, we all laughed at Michael's lame joke while getting our bags out of the locker.

"I should be a comedian!"

"Definitely," I grinned widely as a worker turned off the lights in the shop. "not."

He pushed my shoulder playfully, but I didn't expect his push was hard enough to make my tired, weak body to fall onto the ground. And that was when everything happened in a flash.

A loud bang was heard, the glass were shattered and the alarm started giving off the red light with a loud noise coming afterwards. I felt a heavy body falling on the ground beside me and I had never screamed so loud in my whole life.

Michael was shot precisely at his right shoulder, the same shoulder and spot that Michael hit me a few seconds ago. And I only had one person in mind that would such psychotic move.
