I wake up and it's still dark

I still feel like I'm falling apart

It's the dead of winter

Where nights last longer

And even though I felt this way for so long

I like the dark, it makes me calm

I'm on the bus and I look at the night sky

The streetlights are so pretty at this time

I wake up to these dark mornings

And I still feel like I'm dying

But when I go outside and look at the sky

All of the thoughts leave my mind

And I can breathe this time
