《A dangerous game.》06

Lana didn't know weather to tell her boyfriend what happened with her professor. She didn't know how to start the conversation or what he will say. That's the thing she was most terrified of. What he was going to say.
Was he going to be protective and say that he doesn't want her talking to the professor.
Or would he be cool about it, he's just a professor, it's not like he's going to come in between their relationship?
She just didn't know where her mind was at on a Friday class in biology. This was he class before poetry, and let's just say it made her not want to get up or move. Just stay in this classroom for the rest of her life because that would be better then facing professor Malfoy.
"Lana?" The teacher called Lana out of her thoughts as she looked up seeing the classroom empty. Wrappers sat on the floor, old pencils rolled down the desks. "Are you going to your next class? You are going to be late." She smiled picking up papers organizing them.
"Oh- right sorry." She mumbled picking up her books and walking down the isles. They exchanged glances before lanas feet hit the hallway floor. It was now hitting her, harder then before. And that's saying a lot.
She awkwardly walked down the hallway, going as slow as she could do maybe she would be late and he wouldn't let her in. But the next thing she knew her fingers were touching the cold silver handle to the room.
Her steps glided her down the carpet as she turned up to her desk in the back. Her eyes went to her boyfriend who gave her a smirk. She put on a smile before setting her stuff down carefully on the desk making sure she didn't push them down from anticipation.

"Now students we have a project." The professor announced strolling in as she sat down. "You are going to make your.." his words drifted off into her mind as she only thought about, one thing. That, word coming off of his lips. Love.
It rolled so smoothly, with care. Like he said it a thousand times already. His eyes that met hers as his lips spoke to her. Is all Lana could think about.
Why? She asked herself. Why? Why? Why? She hated the thought of having this much of a connection with a professor of hers. This is the things that happen in the movies, and then people find out and it's not good. Why is my mind going to these things? She thought again.
"Now that we have that concluded, choose your partners." He sat down as Lana made direct eye contact, the blue grey lust burned across the room onto her as she took a sharp breath wanting nothing but this.
"Come on, let's be partners." Harry showed up as Lanas head perked up from the professors eyes. He shoved his books to the open desk next to her scooting it over.
She hated this. She needed to tell him. But how?
"Yeah yeah let's do it." She smiled awkwardly as her books flipped open.
"Okay so we could make a poem tonight, let's just get the basics down," He started "Like what type." He proposed as she nodded quickly. Harry was confused on why his girlfriend was acting like this?
"Yeah we could um-"
He cut her off lowering his voice "Are you okay love?" He asked as she shot her head to his direction. Her thoughts immediately went to her professors words.
"Yeah I am great let's just get this done." She gulped before dipping her head down and starting on her work.

Lana didn't know what to do, why her thoughts were like this.
Class ended as Lana and Harry sparked up conversation on their poem. She felt better when she laughed with Harry, she wasn't anticipating the next action of her professor. She actually forgot about him until his voice spoke up "Leave everyone, class had ended." The professor also packed up his bag as the students started walking out.
"Lana? Are you leaving?" The professor smirked as he stood at the bottom of the isle as everyone had already left.
"Yes sorry." She mumbled picking up her things and walking down the isle.
"That boy is a player Lana Owens, don't trust him." He breathed smirking at the girl before walking away leaving Lana in her thoughts.
What is that supposed to mean? Lana knows that Harry is completely trustworthy? Why would that change just because her stupid professor said? She can trust Harry, right?
She walked out trying to find Harry because he usually waits for her. Where is he? She looked around for Harry but no sign so Lana decided to go do some shopping. She needed a new dress for the end of the year because her mum has been bothering her about it saying that's a huge ball and she needs a dress now and not put it off.
She made it to the mall walking inside and walking around to a few stores trying to find the right dress that she would like. Her mum wants something elegant and if she doesn't get that then her mum will have a fit.
Her hands glided over a dark purple dress. The rhinestones were beautiful across the top that had a low cut. It went down to the floor, she was mesmerized but she also just wanted this over with.
"Hello darling, is this all?" The store clerk smiled taking the dress and scanning it. The woman had long brown hair that was shinny, obviously she took good care of it to lanas eyes.
"Yes thank you so much." Lana smiled taking the dress and walking out.
As she was on her way back to the school she had to pass through a busy street that is usually like this on Friday nights. Very packed, drunk people slugging their way through the crowds, children pointing to shops of things they want.
Bars one side and the other was shops. As Lana passed by a bar, she saw a familiar back head of hair. It was shiny blonde but he was surrounded by two other boys. One was dark skinned, very beautiful. Other that had brown hair hanging against his forehead and I little freckle on his cheek.
They were laughing so hard it made Lana smile. They had drinks in their hands taking sips every few moments enjoying each other.
They looked back as Lana quickly noticed she stopped walking and was just staring at the three men. She now noticed when the man with his head turned to her, blonde hair, was in fact her professor who gave her a wink.
The brown headed boy waved his hand signaling her to come in. Lana pointed to her saying "Me?" As the boy laughed saying yes through the glass.
Well let's go drink with my hot professor and his hot friends.

Doctored Chance: The Unpleasant Preceding of "Pajama Boy" and What Drove Him to Murder
I, Mick Chadwick, regret to inform my readers that this memoir contains nothing but the truth, which in the case of Tobias MacClain, most ridiculed as Pajama Boy, is far from pleasant. If you seek to relate to a hero more than to aspire to them and have the stomach for unpleasant things such as a hero left for dead, villainous scars, bomb threats, and murderous intent, then look no further. All of these gruesome things and more await from my research, and though I do not wish them on any man or woman, I cannot bear this burden on my own much longer. In the words of Tobias MacClain himself, "Sometimes, a villainous act can cause the greatest good." I hope that all my villainous acts of sneaking, blackmailing, diary-reading, and grave-digging, among others, will be redeemed as I present this complete and truthful memoir to the world, and with any luck, open eyes to the truth of what we call "villainy". Doctored Chance: The Unpleasant Preceding of "Pajama Boy" and What Drove Him to Murder ********* MATURE FILTER IS FOR:- violence- graphic imagery (blood, burns, fairly dark headspaces)- cartoon depiction of burn scars for visual aid Despite graphics, Mick Chadwick's writing keeps Mr. MacClain's terrible tale light somehow. This is foremostly a comedy.

That promise is all she thinks of when she jumps in front of a car to save her brother. She expects death, but instead wakes up to a looming clock tower, cobblestone streets, and dead soldiers wearing lockets just like her mother's. When a military group mistakes Kess for their enemy, she swears allegiance at gunpoint, hoping to search for her brother from within. Inside, Kess finds an even darker side of the city bent on killing the Errant-using any means necessary.
