Lana sat in her desk on the first day back from winter break. She hadn't seen Draco since she left his flat once they got back. She hadn't even texted him and she felt bad, she did. But she needed time to think and time away because of what happened.
As the classroom door opened, in walked professor Malfoy. His long coat trailed behind him as his skin glowed against the lights, he layed down his bag on the hard wood desk.
"Okay I want you all to write a 3 page essay of what you did over the break, get started." He concluded quickly but as he did the door opened again.
As footsteps, multiple, came walking in lanas heart stopped as she saw the badges and the eyes. "Draco Malfoy?" A man said in a police uniform as two others stood with him along with the head of the school.
"Can I help you all with anything?" Draco immediately stood up as the cops walked closer. All the students were perched up seeing what was happening.
"I need you to come down to the station for a bit. Along with miss Lana Owens." The cop turned around connecting his eyes with Lana as her stomach dropped, her Vision went blurry as her thoughts stopped. She couldn't think, this couldn't be happening- "miss Owens? Come with us please." The officer spoke again which pulled lana out of her thoughts looking back up.
Lana saw Coles eyes in front of her confused "of course." She said kindly as she stood up walking down the isle meeting the officers. "I'm sorry but what is this for?" She asked as one of the cops dropped out handcuffs.
"We will tell you when we get there, but for now these are just protocol." He said turning her around as her eyes went wide.

"What the fuck, you aren't putting me in handcuffs." She spoke louder now seeing its insane that she can't just walk out with them.
"It's protocol miss Owens." Another one spoke as her brows creased in confusion.
"I did nothing wrong!" She defended herself on the verge of tears as they were already handcuffing Draco, he had no expression.
"Would you like me to say it in front of everyone? What you are being accused of?" He spoke louder as she suddenly felt small, like she had no voice.
Lana Owens turned around allowing them to take her hands in the cold metal as a tear ran down her cheek landing on her leather shoe as they walked her out of the classroom. She kept her head down as she felt the other students burning stares through her.
It was all going In slow motion as their hair blew against the wind and the cops kept their hands attached to the handcuffs on their backs.
Students who were walking to classes looked confused as they saw a professor and a student being arrested on campus.
They walked out to the car as Draco was put in a different one. He didn't even make eye contact with the girl he loves, he didn't even flinch seeing her be shoved into a cop car in front of the university they snuck around in at night. The university that they had meet at.
Everything flashed before Draco's eyes as he saw her blonde hair flow into the car from the wind.
Lana saw a bit of Draco being pushed into the cop car as tears ran down her face.

"I have gotten a call in, from a Harry Lexington." The chief of police said as him and Lana sat in a grey room with nothing but a table and chairs as her hands were handcuffed to a bar on it. There was a glass that she knew people were watching her on the other side she just couldn't see.

"Mhm." She nodded waiting for him to carry on.
"He had said that you and your professor, Draco Malfoy, are in a relationship?" He looked through papers as lanas stomach turned. "His ex girlfriend told him that the professor had been flirting with you and long after that he had saw you in the car with him and out at dinner with him." He spoke as she stayed still.
"Now, I don't want to put mr Malfoy away, but if he forced you with anything. You are safe here Lana." He said calmly as Lanas mouth was in a line, she wasn't going to speak even though the words were almost pouring out of her mouth, it stayed shut.
"Would you like to tell us anything?" He repeated in different sentences.
And finally Lana spoke "I am not romantically involved with him, he's lying." She said looking over at the ground as he was shocked.
"Who's lying Lana?" He asked as she scoffed.
"Harry." She said looking back up and playing with the rusty metal chains on her hands.
"Do you know mr. Lexington?" He asked closing the file and leaning closer as Lana connected her eyes with the cop.
"I do, he was my ex boyfriend and his ex girl friend is my ex best friend. He said that to get back at me for what I said." She scoffed as the cop started to become interested.
"What did you say?" He asked as she looked around and at the glass, hoping to make eye contact with one of the officers on the other side that she cannot see.
"I said that I don't miss him and I don't want to be with him." She leaned closer to the officer as he tilted his head. "Probably thought I was still in fucking love with him and goes and pulls this insane shit." She scoffed leaning back as the chair screeched a bit.
"Good, you stay here, don't go anywhere," he teased standing up collecting the files "and I will go talk to Draco Malfoy." He said calmly walking out of the room as Lana stayed put hoping she didn't say anything wrong.
