I stare deep into his eyes..
I know what he wants to do.
I'm so..
Afraid.
But why?
"W-where do you feel it..?" I ask, nervously stumbling over my words.
"In here.." He moves his hand away from my cheek and points to his heart.
His..
I'm completely speechless right now I mean.. What do I even say to that?!
Is he saying he feels..
Affection towards me..?
Connor began to tilt his head down. "When Hank introduced me to you, my heart always raced and I never knew why,"
He sighs and blinks quickly.
"That's when I began to notice that I only felt that way around you." He moves away from me slowly to get back on the wheel.
I grab his arm quickly, "It's affection,"
I shut my eyes hard but breathe slowly trying to calm myself.
"It's.. Love." I can't help but twitch a little to my own words.
I really don't want to admit it. At all.
"Love?" He asks, turning his head.
I open my eyes again and slowly look up to him, "Mhm.."
"Love.." He says again.
It's silent for a while, until Connor turns back towards the wheel and sits down in the driver seat.
I sigh, turning away from Connor to look out the window and notice the car is already moving.
"Where do you want to go?" He asks.
"You know that one cliff in the mountains? Let's go there."
I hear Connor sigh quietly, and switch lanes. For some reason, I feel like I did something wrong.
After a while it driving, we finally arrive to the mountains. Connor was quiet the whole ride..
Did I do something wrong?
His LED has been blue the whole time, but I can't help but feel extremely anxious.

As we make it to a peak, Connor stops the car and puts it in park, taking out the keys.
"Why the mountains?" He asks.
"I just like the mountains," I chuckle. "It gives me a feeling like no other, and there's a good view."
"View?" Connor tilts his head.
I look at him and smile, opening my car door and throwing one leg out and then the other. I place my feet on the soft, green grass. I close my car door behind me and turn to see Connor doing the same, but his head is looking towards the view. He looks so.. Calm, and relaxed. I can see it in his eyes.
Suddenly, I feel at peace.
"You can look closer if you'd like. It gets better." I say, turning to the view as well.
I hear Connor step closer the view, away from the car. I follow behind him quickly, as he begins moving faster.
He slowly stops moving as I can see his face light up from the lights below the mountain peak.
The view of most of Detroit.
"It-" Connor catches his breath. "It's beautiful. I never knew Detroit looked like this.."
I blink, "You'd be surprised."
He sits down on the grass and continues to admire the view, with his face lighting up more than the town lights below already had. I sit down beside him.
He suddenly gasps, "You know what would make this better?"
"Hm," I giggle. "What?"
Connor turns his head to me. I can see the sparkle in his eyes, "Music!"
I widen my eyes a bit, but I can't help but smile. How Connor said that was adorable.
"Like the music from the station you liked?" I ask.

Connor nods his head smiling.
I sigh, getting up from the ground and slowly making my way to the car. I open the passenger door and lean inside to look for the keys. After a few seconds of searching, I find them and put them into the ignition and turn the car on.
Looking at the radio now, I press a few buttons and get to the station Connor wanted. Faintly, there already seems to be a song playing. I slowly begin to realize which song it is as I turn up the volume.
I turn the volume up to its limit and I begin to step back from the car, until something shines at the corner of my eye. I turn my head, and see a couple bottles of alcohol. I smile for a second, as it reminds me of my dad.
Shit.. I forgot all about him.
I hope he's okay.
I slowly and fully lean my body out the car as I step back, leaving the car door open so the music can be heard out of the car. I turn my head to Connor's direction, and already see him looking at me.
I can't help but feel safe and comfortable.
As if I could do anything with him.
