《As You Wish : Loki Fanfic》Secretary Pierce

Fury shot just to the left of my head, missing intentionally.
"Game on." I whispered to Loki before pushing him out of the way and teleporting to Fury. Fury 'aimed' at Loki and shot three times as he dodged a punch from me. Before I could pull my fist back Fury grabbed my forearm and twisted it behind my back. He pushed me forward over the desk and hit a panic switch under the lip of it.
Loki summoned his daggers and moved towards Fury. Fury moved out of the way of Loki's blade and I kicked backwards, causing Fury to stumble and let me go.
The door to Fury's office flew open and a dozen of armed agents charged in... including the STRIKE team... perfect.
I grabbed Loki and pulled him to the floor, behind the desk, and away from their view. I was straddling his hips as he laid on the floor.
"We can't kill anyone." I said quickly. "If we get separated whisper to any of the STRIKE team members 'Hail Hydra'." I told him in a hushed voice before I was pulled off of him by Fury. Fury threw me into Rumlow who grabbed onto my arms. I was about to teleport until Fury pointed his gun at Loki.
"Enough!" Fury yelled. "Move and lover boy over here gets a bullet to the brain."
Loki looked to me and I nodded slightly. His jaw clenched as he looked back up to Fury and raised his hands. Rumlow kicked the back of my knees to get them to buckle from under me. I squeezed my eyes shut and grunted as I fell to the ground. My hands were tugged painful behind my back as I was handcuffed.
"Put them in separate cells. I don't want them talking to each other. The council is going to want to speak with them." Fury informed the agents as they pulled me back to my feet and cuffed Loki. When they started pulling us out of the Directors room, I looked back to see Fury already looking at me. He gave a slight, barely there, nod and picked up the notebook. He threw the notebook into the trashcan beside his desk before lighting up a pocket lighter and throwing it in with the notebook.
Loki and I were silent as the STRIKE team dismissed the rest of the agents and led us into the elevator. I was still being escorted by Rumlow. I looked at Loki and waited until he looked back at me. I smirked and gave him a wink before I looked away. I turned my head, so Rumlow could hear me.

"Hail Hydra" I whispered to him. His grip on my arm tightened and he looked down at me. "Very sorry about this..." I actually wasn't sorry at all as I teleported the cuffs off of Loki and myself.
Chaos broke out in the elevator when Loki and I started moving. I slammed my foot down onto Rumlow's. He bent forward in pain and I elbowed him in the face causing his head to fly back into the glass wall of the elevator. I moved quickly to hit the emergency stop button to stop the elevator.
Loki did well with the element of surprise and took out two of the six STRIKE agents before anyone noticed what was going on.
One of the agents took out a taser baton and hit Loki with it before I could teleport it from his hand. Loki grunted and staggered on his feet. As soon as I saw it, I teleported the baton into my hand and tasered the fuck out of the agent. My shoulder was grabbed and I was ripped away from the, now unconscious, agent twitching on the floor. I grabbed the hand on my shoulder and twisted his thumb in my grip and away from me. I ducked under his arm and brought my knee up and into his ribs. The agent gasped in air before I took the baton and tasered him unconscious. I turned around to see the last conscious agent reach for me. He didn't get to touch me as Loki grabbed his head and slammed it into the elevator doors. He let the agent crumple to the ground, leaving a nice dent in the metal doors.
"Why am I turned on right now?" I asked and looked at Loki as I caught my breath. Loki scoffed with a smile and pulled me to him to kiss the top of my head. I chuckled before turning in his arms and pressing the button for the top floor.
A blue light flashed and a voice asked for vocal admission. I grumbled lowly and rolled my eyes.
"Guess I need to do this alone." I said and turned to Loki. "I'll be outside soon... maybe. Wait for me?" I told him and kissed him quickly.
"Always, but I don't like you doing this alone." He said and tucked some loose hair behind my ear.
"I'll call if I need you." I smiled. "Don't get caught." I said before teleporting out of the elevator and to the closest floor. It was an office floor and I casually walked around the perimeter until I found the stairwell.

I opened the door to the stairs and looked up. I then teleported to the top. Luckily, there wasn't many floors until the top. From the top door, which was the roof entrance, I walked down until I found a door with a locked access pad. I teleported into the room and looked around. Definitely not the room I was looking for. I teleported back out and continued down the stairs. Three more tries later and I found the room I was looking for. I teleported into the all glass office and looked around. No one was there, so I walked to the desk and sat down to wait.
Almost fifteen minutes later, Secretary Pierce walked in. I spun the swivel chair around to face him as soon as I heard the door shut. Pierce froze as he looked me over. I smiled at him and put my feet up to rest on his desk.
"You know," I started. "I'm surprised you didn't come after me. I know Fury told you about me and with how much I know..." I shrugged. Pierce hesitantly walked further into the room.
"I have no idea what you are referring to." Pierce tried. I rolled my eyes at him.
"Cut the crap, Pierce. I'm not here to out you."
"Then why are you here?" He asked and took a few more steps.
"Isn't it obvious?" I questioned and spread my arms out to gesture around the room. "I'm here to join you. The Avengers and I... well let's say we had a bit of a disagreement. Tony and I fought, he kicked me out, yada yada yada." I sighed. "Anyway, I went to Fury with my problem, but he decided to try and arrest me. So, forget them. I'll go somewhere else with my knowledge. Now, are you going to answer me? Why didn't you come after me?"
"You never left Stark Tower. By the time we had a plant, you were nowhere to be found." Pierce said casually and finally stepped in front of his desk.
"Hmm," I hummed and sat up in the chair, taking my feet off of his desk. "See, trust, or whatever." I commented. "Now, I'm willing to join your cause, Pierce, but I have a few conditions."
"Our cause, huh?" Pierce started. "How do I know that this isn't some trick?" He asked. I smirked maliciously at him.
"Good, you're asking the right questions." I told him. "Listen, I'm not from here. I couldn't give two shits about this world, or the people in it. I'm just trying to survive and you seem like a good option." I explained.
"And your conditions?" Pierce asked.
"Train me." I said. "I want to learn to fight. I want to be feared. Second to none. I want to be out in the field, not locked in a room until you find a use for me. I refuse to be locked up and mindless like your Winter Soldier." I sneered. Pierce flinched at the mention of Bucky.
"Is that all?" He continued.
"No, I want to go on missions with the Winter Soldier. There is something that changes him. Something that I need to stop. I'm not sure when, or how, but I need to be with him to counteract it."
"We can just reset him. Why would we need you?"
"Every time you reset the Winter Soldier you fry his brain. You're damaging him. The more you do it, the more damaged he becomes until he's useless to you." I told Pierce. Pierce shifted on his feet nervously.
"Then we will put him back on ice. Avoid the problem completely." Pierce countered. I rolled my eyes at him and stood from the chair.
"You do that and there will be a massive butterfly effect. I know what happens to the future of Hydra and can fix it, but if you massively change things like that, everything goes to shit. Time will still continue to happen, but I won't know how to fix it." I explained. "So, train me to fight. Get him to work with me. I'll make sure it never happens." I said and put out my hand. "Deal?"
Pierce looked down at my hand and sighed before taking it.
"Deal."

The Ruined Monks of Rothfield Monastery
Erin is the youngest member of the dark monks; a supernatural brotherhood whose ultimate mission is to improve the dire circumstances of poor, war-torn villages using powers unique to each member. Or so he was led to believe. Erin, like his brothers, does not age, and that is, unfortunately, the only trait he shares with them. He cannot charm or compel like Woodrow, he cannot cast illusions like Knox, he was not swift like Swithin, not powerful like Blake. He was barely an assistant to his dear brother Wilbur, with his herbology and alchemy. He was told to lie low and make himself scarce. That is what he did. The dark monks temporarily reside in abandoned monasteries scattered around the country, feeding the poor and healing the sick, nurturing the monastic lands until it was fertile enough to raise crops and rear animals. As the years passed, they would leave these reformed, repopulated, self-sustaining monasteries and venture froth to help the next settlement. Yet, after years of toiling and quiet servitude, Erin notices that people and the country itself are declining. The villagers look gaunt, the once-lush soil now barren and cracked. He begins to feel disheartened, thinking that their mission is proving futile. Still, their leader Blake is steadfast and charges onward, and lately has his eyes set on a certain monastery in a thick, thorned forest that seems to diminish, even nullify their powers. A thick forest that Erin somehow has a connection to. A thorned glade where an ethereal voice calls his name with one simple request along with a promise:Heal the land, child. Heal the land and I promise to give you sanctuary so long as you stay. I promise to nurture you as you nurture me. As Erin cultivates the land, the land, in turn, gifts all its caretakers with new, enhanced skillsets on top of their unique powers -- skills of protection, healing, and magic. Magic. Erin had long wished to see the world fill with it again. The people, regardless of common or noble blood, still believe that magic will enter this world again. Magic to bless the king like it did the Saints. Magic to dispel the miasma befouling the world. Magic to bring back the fae folk and their many forms. It is up to Erin to forge the many paths leading to a bright future; to build a prosperous paradise that welcomes all races and bloodlines, by mastering the rewards gained through agriculture, horticulture, and animal husbandry, smithing, crafting, and fishing. Erin may also find a lifelong friendship and romance with his neighbor, Claude, if he decides to pursue him, and may even join him in the military campaign outside the monastery. The darkness still lurks outside, after all, and the mastery of his skills, along with a few good friends, may finally be enough to turn the tide in their favor. Most of all, Erin wants to keep the vow he set for himself: to protect everyone and everything he loves until his dying breath.
