《As You Wish : Loki Fanfic》Hospital

Not long after the phone call with Bruce, the door to the wing was basically kicked down.
"Where is he?" Bucky yelled into the room. I could already tell this was going to be a show. Just wished I could get some popcorn to watch.
Natasha was sitting in a chair next to Bruce as they watched Loki pace. Nat looked to Bucky and gestured to Loki with her head. Bucky froze in confusion. Steve followed behind Bucky trying to calm him down, Sam following behind Steve, but they both froze at Loki too.
"Thats Loki?" Steve asked Natasha who nodded. Bucky finally shook his surprise off and charged up to Loki only to be held back by Steve and Sam. Loki stopped pacing and turned to look at them.
"You knew she was hurt! You knew and you still waited to get her help!" He accused and pointed a finger at him.
"And why was she hurt, I wonder?" Loki hissed and walked up to Bucky.
"Loki..." Steve warned when he got too close. Natasha stood up to get in between the two.
"Let's calm down. It was no one's fault." She tried and pushed Loki gently back away from Bucky.
"Oh, I can find quite a few people at fault." Loki scoffed. "You better hope she wakes up, because if she doesn't the Chitauri's army will feel like child's play." Loki threatened.
"You'd wage war on an entire planet because of a choice she willingly made?" Natasha asked in slight shock. Loki turned his gaze from Bucky to glare down at her.
"I'd wage a lot more for a lot less when it comes to her." He told her. "None of you mean anything to me. The only reason I don't kill you is because you mean something to her and that is the only reason. That all changes if she dies."
"And where were you for the last year, huh?" Bucky asked and shoved Steve's and Sam's arms off of him. "She should have never been there!"
"You don't think I know that?" Loki asked. "You don't think I wanted to get her out every second of every day?" He glared at Bucky. "But, contrary to popular belief, I do not own her. I am not her dictator. I have no right to tell her what she can and cannot do. I will never understand her need to save a man such as yourself, but it was her decision."

Bucky glared for another few seconds before finally looking away and licking over his bottom lip.
"You're- you're Captain America, right?" A voice interrupted. Everyone looked behind Steve to see the blonde nurse looking at him with wide starstruck eyes.
"Uhh-" Steve started, but was cut off.
"Oh, my God! It is such an honor to meet you." She beamed. Loki rolled his eyes before walking to look out the large hospital window again. "I almost met you a few years ago during one of those press conferences for that unconscious girl, but you were-"
"I'm sorry, but could you please give us a few minutes?" Steve finally interrupted her. "Unless you have an update on our friend?" He asked. Her eyebrows shot up and she actually had the decency to look guilty for interrupting.
"Oh, your friend, right... No, I'm sorry, there's no update, but I'll call down to the operating room and see if I can get some information for you." Debbie told Steve with a smile.
"Thank you." Steve nodded to her.
"Of course!" She responded, touching his arm gently before leaving. I scoffed at her as she turned and walked back to her station.
Seven hours later and there was still no update. The room was very tense, especially with Loki and Bucky glaring at each other every ten minutes.
The blonde nurses shift ended a few hours later and a pretty woman with jet black hair and tanned skin took her place. I liked her a lot better.
When the door to the waiting room finally opened, everyone shot to their feet.
"I'm looking for the family of Ms. Stark." The doctor announced. I immediately turned to glare at Natasha even though she couldn't see me. Apparently Loki did too because she shrugged.
"She never told me her last name." Nat mumbled.
"That would be me." Loki turned back to the doctor and walked over to him quickly.
They talked for a while as everyone watched them. After a few minutes, Loki nodded towards the doctor before starting out of the wing. I went to follow, but wanted to hear what the doctor said. Steve placed a hand on Bucky's shoulder to stop him and walked up to the doctor.

"How is she?" Steve asked.
"Are you family?" The doctor asked.
"We're her emergency contacts." Natasha told him. The doctor looked at the group skeptically before sighing.
"We had to remove her spleen. It was the source of the bleeding. A fragment of her ribs lodged itself into it causing her to start bleeding internally. She had four broken ribs, but we couldn't find anymore bone fragments which was good. She'll be ok in a couple of weeks after lots of rest." The doctor told them. "She'll be really tired from the blood loss, so I wouldn't expect her to be conscious much in the next week."
"What room?" Bucky asked. The doctor ignored his hostile tone and, thankfully, answered.
"573," he started as Bucky turned for the door. "But she's being monitored. You can't go in yet." The doctor called after him. Steve shook his head as everyone else left to catch up with Bucky.
"Thank you for looking after Sammee." Steve shook the doctor's hand. He then turned and ran after the others.
"Were those the Avengers?" The doctor asked the nurse at the station, who casually nodded her head.
I finally turned to follow everyone else when I was suddenly falling through the hospital floors. I landed flat on my back. It didn't hurt, but I was a little freaked out. I groaned and sat up to look at where I was. I was still in the hospital, so that was good.
I was facing the elevators like I was on the floor I fell from, so when they dinged and opened to reveal Bucky, Sam, Natasha, and Bruce, I was able to see.
"Bucky, you should wait for Steve. You heard the doctor. You can't even see her yet." Sam said as he followed Bucky. Bucky ignored him.
I stood up just as the group walked through me. I didn't feel anything and looked down to my hands. They were still see through, but barely. I should be able to wake up soon.
I ran to catch up with the group as they found the room I was in. The door to my room was shut, but there were two large windows to see in. Loki was leaning his arms on the windowsill as he looked into the room. He didn't even look over at the group as they got closer to him.
The group stopped and looked through the window. My body was lying in a hospital bed, tucked in by a blue blanket. I had an IV in my arm and I was on a ventilator, but my color was back. I didn't look so pale anymore.
"They said we can go in as soon as they take her off of the ventilator." Loki said as the group stopped beside him.
"Do we know when that is?" Natasha asked. Loki shook his head no.
"Just until she wakes up enough for her to start breathing on her own." Bruce assured everyone. "Shouldn't be too long."
Loki didn't say anything as the others sat in the chairs lined up on the opposite wall, everyone except Bucky. Bucky started pacing the hallway, unable to sit down.
Steve joined the group soon after and not long after that my body started to breath on its own. A doctor rushed into my room and disconnected the ventilator before removing the breathing tube, allowing my body it's first full breath on its own in over seven hours.
Loki immediately rushed in and when Bucky tried to follow, Steve stopped him.
"She'll be fine, Buck. Let him have a few minutes with her first." Steve told him. I would have to thank him later.
