《Emerald》32

As the months went on, Draco and I walked the halls and sat together more often.
The whole school knew we were friends by now.
The only people who had a problem with it were his friends, and mine.
Hermione kept saying 'he's only doing it to gain information about our meetings.'
It couldn't be true, Draco never asked me about them.
In the mix of everything, Draco and his friends were promoted to prefect's.
They were taken under Umbridge's wings.
They were allowed to walk the halls after hours, patrolling.
They were allowed to take house points from students as well.
Every day new rules went up on the walls.
Umbridge was taking over.
...
"Now think of something happy. The happiest you've ever been. Let it flow from you, and out your wand. You've got this!" Harry said, as we all practiced in the room of requirement.
The only thought that came to my mind, was Draco.
Imagines of us dancing at the Yule Ball, and rolling around in the snow, flashed before my eyes.
"Expecto petronum." I casted.
A bright light began glowing from the end of my wand.
A white, glowing rabbit appeared.
It hopped and danced throughout the air in the room, before disappearing moments later.
"You did it!" Luna yelled.
Everyone began cheering.
I was the last one to get the petronus charm down, and I finally got it.
The wall that we entered through, began cracking.
With every thump from the other side of the wall, the cracks grew.
We all stood there silently as a hole began to form.
The hole grew, then the wall crumbled down.
There stood Umbridge, Filtch, Draco and his friends.
Draco, was holding Cho by her collar.
Draco was grinning ear to ear.
Cho snitched.

I knew I didn't trust her for a reason.
Umbridge placed her wand into her pocket. She smiled greatly, as she stepped forward over the rubble.
Draco's grin quickly faded, as his eyes met mine.
That little blonde weasel.
Umbridge put the rest of them in a room with Mr Filtch to watch.
She, along with Draco and his friends, took Harry, Ron, Hermione and I to her office.
Draco held Ron my his shirt, Crabbe held Hermione, and Goyle held me.
Harry sat in the chair before Umbridge.
"You were going to Dumbledore, weren't you." Umbridge spoke to Harry, as she leaned over him.
"No." Harry huffed as her.
Umbridge quickly slapped Harry across the face.
The crack of her hand smacking him across the face, echoed through her office.
I winced, and closed my eyes.
That sounded like it stung.
"You sent for me, headmistress." Snape entered her office.
His eyes scanned our faces, before he looked at Umbridge.
"Ah, yes. The time has come for answers, weather he wants to give them to me or not.... have you brought the veritaserum?" She asked Snape.
She was going to make Harry drink the truth serum.
"I'm afraid not, you have used up all my stores interrogating students. The last of it was used on Ms Chang. I cannot help you." Snape spoke slowly.
A small wave of relief rushed over me.
"He's got Padfoot!" Harry said desperately, "he's got him where it's hidden!"
"Padfoot? What's Padfoot? What is he talking about Snape?" Umbridge spoke quickly, looked up at Snape.
"No idea." Snape replied, before leaving her office. He slammed the door loudly.
Umbridge narrowed her eyes at Harry, as she kept her evil smile on her face.
"Very well, you leave me no choice. The cruciatus curse might losen your tongue." She pointed her wand at Harry.

"That's illegal!" Hermione yelled.
All of the boys tightened their grip on us.
Umbridge turned the picture of the minister of magic down on her desk.
"What Cornelius doesn't know, won't hurt him." She smiled.
"Don't tell her!" I yelled.
Umbridge turned to me, and poked her wand underneath my chin.
"Maybe we should use the curse on you, first." She spat in my face.
I breathed heavily, but kept a stone face.
I glanced at Draco for a second.
He stared at the wall directly in front of him with, his jaw clenched.
Draco didn't dare to look at me.
He knee better.
That fucking traitor.
"Tell her Harry!" Hermione yelled desperately.
"Tell me what?" Umbridge asked, as she turned back to Harry.
"Well, if you won't tell her... I will." Hermione slightly lowered her voice, as she looked at me, then at Harry.
"Tell me what?!" Umbridge yelled again.
"Dumbledore's secrete weapon." Hermione replied.
"You two, come with me." She grabbed Harry and Hermione, "you boys, watch the other two."
Umbridge led Harry, and Hermione out of her office.
Ron, and I stood before Draco, Crabbe, and Goyle.
Draco didn't dare to even look in my direction.
Ron smirked slightly, as he reached until his pocket.
He pulled out a hand full of wrapped candy.
Within a matter of seconds, Draco and his friends took the candy, and quickly ate them.
Moments later, their three stomachs began to turn, and growl.
They all began throwing up.
Ron and I quickly ran out of Umbridge's office, and down the halls of the school.
"Where are we going? What's hidden?" I asked, Ron as we ran.
"Getting Luna, Neville, Fred and George. Sirius is in trouble. Voldemort is trying to get to a prophecy orb, Harry saw it. " Ron yelled.
We ran to the room where the others were held.
Filtch was also throwing up.
Fred, George, Luna and Neville ran to us.
"Our candy works wonders." Fred and George winked, as they high fived each other.
Hermione, and Harry ran up to us.
They were both dirty, and sweaty.
"Lets go, now! We don't have much time!" Harry yelled.
We all ran, and followed him.
All of us went to the fireplace in the Gryffindor common room.
Harry threw the dust in.
"Ministry of magic." Harry spoke, and we all jumped into the green flames.
