《Room Mates (NaLu)》Chapter 15 ~ Home Town

"NATSU COME ON!" I yelled from the doorway of the dorm. "WE'RE GONNA BE LATE!"
Natsu stumbled out of his bedroom with a red suitcase. He trudged toward me dragging the heavy suitcase behind him. We were only staying one night but for some reason he had his whole closet with him, I laughed, then held the door for him. I followed behind towards the elevator. We pressed the ground floor button and eventually made it to my Fiat. We put our bags in the trunk, before getting into the little, brown car.
"Here" I passed Natsu my phone and the aux cord. "Put something good on" I said with a smile. He gave me a cheeky grin before grabbing the phone excitedly.
'Nothing compares, to what we share. I don't have a care in the world, cause even if it all came crashing down, as long as you're around I'll be safe and sound...'
He puts on my favourite song by Tonight Alive and places my phone under his leg. I blush from his song choice, before putting the car into reverse and back out of my parking spot. The drive was an hour. We sang along to music and played stupid games to pass the time.
"Luce, I spy with my little eye, something beginning with T." says Natsu out of no where.
I look around outside of the car, trying to find something beginning with the letter.
"Uhm... tree?" I asked, doubting that he would give me one so easy. I stare out as trees fly by the edge of the road.
"Wow Luce you're good at this!" I laughed before thinking of one to give him.
"I spy with my little eye, something beginning with W.' I say with a devious smile on my face.
He looks around for a few minutes, his face deeply concentrated.
"Aha!" He shouts
"Windmill!" He says proudly.
I shake my head and a laugh bursts from my mouth.
"Natsu, where the hell do you see any windmills around here?" I ask as a matter of factly.
His smile dropped and a look of confusion took over.
"You have to see it?" He asks "What do you mean?"
I start having a laughing fit, nearly to tears whilst simultaneously trying to steer the car down the motor way. We were heading to a restaurant to meet up with my auntie and uncle, it was located near their house so the drive was long.
"Natsu you chose the game and don't even know how to play!" I continued laughing. "You crack me up."
I glanced at him quickly before putting my eyes back on the road. He was slouched in his seat, pouting like a baby. He's so cute.
-
"We're here~!" I sang as we pulled up to a parking spot at the restaurant. Infront of us stood a small building. It was made from grey stone and held the name 'Love & Lucky' above the door.
Me and Natsu climbed out of the car and strolled towards the front door. He grabbed my hand and squeezed it gently.
"Just a heads up" I said with a grin. "My auntie's a little crazy and Zeref's quiet the sarcastic one"

He gave me a small chuckle before pushing the doors open and letting me enter. I stopped as I walked to let him catch up, and together we walked towards a table with a very excited waving blonde, and a embarrased looking black haired man, hand in hand.
"Lucy my baby!" Said Mavis and she jumped from her seat and squeezed my life away. Zeref sat shaking his head.
"Hey Lucy." He said cooly after I was released from Mavis' grip.
"It feel like it's been so long!" I said. In reality it had only been a little over two months. I gestured towards Natsu who stood beside me. Mavis now sat back in her seat next to Zeref.
"This is Natsu guys." I said, a blush creeping up my face. Natsu waved and said a hello before we both sat down in out seats oppisite them.
"You two look like you really suit eachother." Said Mavis eagerly. Zeref nodded his head in agreement.
"Lucy's great!" Natsu replied, resting his arm across my shoulders and pulling me towards him. I blushed once again, Mavis's eyes turned to hearts at the sight. She raises an eyebrow at me in question, a smirk across her lips. I just rolled my eyes and draw my attention to Zeref.
"So how's University for you both?" Said Zeref, starting up a new conversation.
"It's pretty good." Said Natsu, I nodded in agreement. "A lot more free than college." He carried on, placing his arms on his lap.
"Aha I see." Said Mavis, who was as studying Natsu - Not very discreetly might I add.
A waiter came to the table. He was a young man, maybe in his early 20's. He wore a black suit and held a little brown note book along with a pen. His orange hair cover his face, before he ran his fingers through it, letting me see his dark brown eyes.
"Hello my names Loke and I'm your waiter for tonight. May I take your order?" He said politely. His voice was quite deep.
Mavis eyed him as he eyed me. I started feeling a little uncomfortable as he stared at me.
"I'll had the 8oz steak please. Rare." Said Zeref, breaking the awkward tension that I created in my own head.
"Just a garden salad for me" Chimed Mavis.
"Can I have a the chicken fajita please?" I said, looking at my menu at the same time.
"No. You can't." He said, his voice sounding very serious.
I looked up at him, my face plastered with confusion. Uhm.
"W-what?"
His face burst into a grin and little laugh spat from his mouth.
"I'm only joking love." He said, laughing again as if he was the funniest guy alive.
I just made a quick smile that dropped as soon as I looked down at my menu again. Well that was weird...
Natsu then quickly ordered a fancy burger. After scribbling our orders into his little book, the guy left.
"That guy creeped me out." Said Mavis after a laugh. I agreed. I felt something warm on my knee and looked down to see Natsu's soft hand lay there. I looked up and him, his eyes were locked on mine and his mouth holding a sly smile. He slid his hand a little further up my leg, the tips of his fingers now under my short black skirt. I carried on looking in his eyes, widening mine a little as a sign to stop. I mean come on--My family is literally sat half a metre away! ...at least they were engulfed in conversation with eachother.

Cold air hit my leg as Natsu suddenly pulled his hand from my leg. I looked to see the ginger waiter stood at at the end of our table once again. This time with our food. My tummy grumbled at the smell.
He placed the salad in from of Mavis, the steak Zeref, burger for Natsu and finally my fajita.
"...And this fajita for the most beautiful young lady." He said with a wink. My eyes flashed up from my food in shock. His face held a smirk as he turned and walked away. I looked around the table, still shocked. Natsu's hand resettled on my leg, his face seeming a little angry. Was he jealous? The thought made me blush.
After a long catchup with Mavis and Zeref, we eventually finished our well deserved meals. I decided to pay the cheque, even through everyones refusals. I got up from my seat and headed to the bar to pay.
Behind the counter stood the waiter. I felt a little awkward going to him but carried on anyway.
"Hello pretty, paying for the family are we?" He said with a smirk on his face.
"Uhm yeh.." I said quietley before rummaging for my purse in my bag.
"That will be 120J please" He said as the number came up on the little screen on the till.
I got my credit card from my purse and placed it into the machine. My finger tapped at the side of the reader, waiting for it to tell me to enter my pin.
"Your brothers a hefty eater isn't he?" Said Loke, bringing up unwanted conversation.
"He's my boyfriend actually... and yeh I guess he is." I stated with an awkward smile, now entering my pin number.
"Boyfriend eh? What a lucky guy." He complimented. Before tapping a few buttons behined the counter. A receipt started to print out. I eyed the receipt, wondering if it could go any slower.
"Um, thanks" I said, again with a smile.
He teared the receipt from the printer grabbed a pen and jotted down something down quickly on the back. He handed me the receipt.
"Here, if you ever get bored of your little 'boyfriend' then here's my number." He smirked.
I looked down to see a number on the back and the words 'call for a good time'. I looked up to see Loke now gone, somewhere in a back room of the resturant. I made a 'tch' noise before walking back to the table.
I placed the reciept down on the table to show Natsu and the others
"This guy." I laughed. "Seriously."
"What the hell? Why would he do that! What did he say? Did he hit on you?" Raged Natsu.
Mavis' eyes widened, face then turning to a smirk at Natsu's comments. Zeref sat mimicking Mavis' expression. Knowing why he was so annoyed at the guy hitting on me.
'You two are dating, aren't you?" Mused Mavis excitedly. Zeref's lips transformed to a sly smile.
I felt my face start to heat as I looked at Natsu for support. We hadn't been planning on telling anyone quite yet but if they guessed then we can't really lie.
Natsu wrapped his arm around my waist, pulling my body towards him.
"Well, you worked it out so we can't deny it now!" Said Natsu as he leant down and placed a soft kiss on my cheek. A soft kiss that made Mavis start hyperventilating. A soft kiss that made my face redder than a face should ever be able to get.
"AHH! my little baby has a boyfriend!" Yelled Mavis, gaining a lot of weird stares from people in the resturant.
"Mavis!" I said in a hush yell. "Oh God she's so embarrasing" I mumbled.
I watched as she danced crazily around the resturant--No one could bring her back to reality once she had started fangirling. That would end it serious injuries, so we just let her be.
Zeref placed his arms infront of him on the wooden table, his hands loosely entwined together.
"So how long have you two been dating then?" He asked. Pretending the woman walking around the resturant wasn't his wife.
Me and Natsu tore our gaze from Mavis and turned to Zeref.
"Only a few days. Well, a week actually." Said Natsu with a smile. He grabbed my hand under the table and gave it a squeeze.
"Yep, still going strong." I joked before we all chuckled.
Mavis swooped back to the table and slid back into her seat beside Zeref.
"How long!? How long!?" She asked, nearly bouncing in her seat.
Zeref rolled his eyes before repeating what Natsu had said earlier. Mavis squealed in excitement.
"Who asked who? How did it happen!?" She shot questions like they were bullets in a gun and had no time to get them out.
I'm sure if anyone was watching from the other side of the room, they would definitely be wondering why two tomatoes were being interrogated by an overly excited... crazy woman?
"Natsu asked me" I said shyly. "In our dorm"
Natsu nodded proudly.
"Yeh I know you're probably thinking it wasn't very romantic..." trailed Natsu.
"But It was! It was really cute when he asked" I butted in quickly. Still feeling a little embarrased talking about this with my family. I squeezed his hand this time before looking up to his face and sending him a sweet smile.
"AWWWW YOU TWO!" Mavis squeezed for the millionth time that night.
The evening carried in full of laughter, awkward questions and happiness. I was really happy to have been able to see Mavis and Zeref. It felt like it had been ages. Soon we were leaving the resturant and heading to their house, where me and Natsu would stay.
