《To the Stars》Loke

Loke walked quietly along one of the many stone paths around him. The stars around him seemed to shine that much brighter and he smiled. Everything was so much better without the looming threat of rejection. His fingertips brushed over his lips and he smiled a little bigger, hers had been there just hours ago but he could still feel her warmth, her arms around him, he could hear her quiet breathlessness as they pulled apart and he wanted to kiss her again. She was the only woman who had ever made him this giddy, he felt like a kid again and he wasn't complaining. He looked up and saw a petite figure walking towards him, Aries.
"Hey Leo, I've been looking for you!" The small spirit was quiet and shy, she had only started to gain her confidence back as she was finally with a good wizard. He waved at her and slowed down.
"Aries, how are you?" He asked politely. Things hadn't been the same since Lucy had acquired her key. Loke and Aries has been exclusive since well before Karen, but since he had been banished from the celestial world he had developed feelings for Lucy and Aries had moved on. They had gone on a few dates after he had returned but the spark had been lost. He had definitely loved her, she was a sweet girl but things had changed and she didn't seem to surprised to find the spark lost. She had told him that she hoped he found happiness again and they had been a little distant since then.
"I'm well, but I needed you to pass a message on to Lucy for me, I'm sure you'll see her before I do." She looked a little dismayed but she quickly snapped out of it, "Lyra and I are going to be gone for the next two weeks," she blushed, looking down, "I hope that won't be an issue but we're going on a vacation of sorts." She smiled playing with a strand of hair. Loke smiled,

"Of course, I hope you two have a good time." He spoke softly, if his intuition was correct, Aries would be a lot happier with love in her life once more. Aries beamed up at him,
"Thank you! I heard rumors about you and Lucy, is it true?" A glint of sadness flashed in her eyes but didn't last long, it was only natural to feel that way, when they had been together they had been in a world of their own, he had felt fiercely protective of her and she had felt almost completely dependent on him even though he encouraged her to be more independent. He chuckled,
"Ahh things spread quickly don't they?" He blushed slightly, "I confessed to her last night how I felt and she reciprocated those feelings." He ran a hand through his hair, "we kissed." She smiled up at him placing a hand on his arm,
"I'm glad you've found happiness Leo."
"Thank you Aries." She waved as she started to wander off back down the path she came from, he waved back and started walking again, he missed Lucy like crazy and was excited to get back to her.

Immovable Mage
What do you call a mage incapable of casting spells? In this story, we usually call him Terry. When the boy is accepted into Arcana Academy, his talent in the pillars of mana foundation awes everyone. All the bigger is the eventual disappointment when Terry turns out to be an utter failure at spellwork. Diagnosis? Major aspect impairment. No cure. Ever. Faced with expulsion, Terry is blessed with the unexpected kindness of others. Terry loses his spot in the Academy but in exchange, he finds a home with a family. Terry starts to train as a pure mana cultivator but never stops looking for his own path as a mage – day after day, season after season, always searching for compatible spellwork… Until finally, Terry’s perseverance earns him a single spell – the only spell he will ever be able to cast. Disclaimers: Chapter Frequency: I aim for one chapter a week. Chapter Length: I try to keep chapters between 3000 and 6000 words. Binge Preference: I plan for 30 chapters per arc. If you want to binge a complete arc, then that is the number to wait for. I will also add a line to chapters indicating the beginning and end of an arc. Advanced Access: I have created a patreon page with early access to four chapters for patrons. What to Expect: Progression fantasy with a western fantasy setting and with eastern fantasy elements. A main character that is forced to explore a very narrow path of magic due to a permanent condition. A main character that is a part of a larger cast. A main character that is growing but won't become the strongest around anytime soon. A story following a single main character but with introduction or theme setting scenes without the main character. What Not to Expect: Edgy grimdark characters – I will never write a sexual violence scene or gory descriptions of torture. I hate reading it and I would hate writing it even more. Romance – romantic relationships will never be the focus of the story and only appear in the background. The main character is preoccupied with other stuff. Other forms of relationships (family, friends, companions) play a bigger role. Cover: The cover art was commisioned from redditor Linh-Nguyen87. The font is alita brush by Inovatype Typefoundry. Overview: 001–030 Arc 1, Cultivating Perseverance: complete. 031–060 Arc 2, Undying Defiance: complete. 061–090 Arc 3, Unyielding Fury: scheduled for publishing. 091–120 Arc 4, Savage Hope: scheduled for publishing. 121–150 Arc 5, Self-Made Fate: first draft in progress. 151–180 Arc 6, Heretic Style: sketching in progress. Further Arcs are still in the sketching and idea collection phase.

The Heretic Legion
Cover Art: Undead Master by Changling Assassin. Located at: http://fav.me/dbm60ex Used under license Creative Commons attribution non-commercial 3.0 per bottom right of the linked page. Summary: Just the story of a necromancer and his eventual army. Currently, the only major thing of note is a pretty fleshed out magic system. No set list of spells or specific incantations. Just rules similar to the laws of physics, within those laws you can do whatever is possible. Updates: I work Sunday thru Wednesday and updates tend to revolve around my scheduled days off. Currently, I release content as I feel it's ready for release because that's what I myself would prefer from an author. Warnings: This story is graphic. blood/necromancy magic that requires self-harm to use. explicit descriptions of sexuality. (though fairly tame outside of the marked chapters, at least compared to said chapters) and is generally darker in tone. If you're concerned you might start to read only to be turned off by these elements. See 7. Teetering on the Edge for an example of the graphic nature of violence or 9. Explicit Content for a fairly self-contained example of the most explicit of the sexual content.
