《Abandoned ✔️》Chapter 8- teensy weensy hands on camera

I quickly grab my bag and get out of my car. There are cars everywhere as I walk to violet's house. Everyone is here, shit.
I hear violet talking inside from the window as she is standing in the middle and got everyone's attention.
"Hey guys I'm sorry to be the party pooper here but we can't be having this party right now. Our friend—" she starts but stops and looks at me as I push the door open.
All the eyes are now officially looking at me. I see violet, Kate, Chris, Tyler and Ian breath out a sigh of relief before they all storm towards me.
"Where have you been?" Violet asks angrily.
"I was—" I start but Kate cuts me off.
"—don't leave anywhere without telling us," Kate says.
"Yeah, I—" I start but Ian cuts me off.
"Where were you, you had us all worried sick?" Ian asks.
"I was—" I start but Chris interrupts me.
"—you know how scared we were? Where were you anyways?" Chris asks and looks at me.
"Oh, I was—" I start but Tyler interrupts me.
"—we thought you got kidnapped or something. God, where were you?" Tyler asks and I sigh.
Now, they all are talking all at once.
Violet: yeah, where were you?
Kate: he's right. What if you got kidnapped?
Chris: will you tell us where you were?
Ian: if it was a joke then it was a really stupid one.
Tyler: I'm so right!
"—I will tell you guys once you let me finish my sentence," I interrupt all of them and their statements and they all stop talking at once.
"Fine, where were you?" Kate asks and they all wait for me to answer.
"I was at school for—" I start but violet interrupts me again.
"—don't tell me you got detention," she says.
"No, it's not that. I was there because—" I start but they don't let me finish.
"—did Helton do something again? I'm up for a good revenge on him anytime," Tyler suggests.
"Really?" Kate and Chris ask in unison.
"No," I reply back.
"Then?" They ask.
"Remember how I told you something was wrong with Helton because he cared too much about the yearbook thing?" I whisper and they nod. "Well, I went to check it out."

"You what?" Kate almost shouted.
"Shhh," I try to shush her.
"You what?" She whispered back.
"Yeah and I was so close but then that little shit came out of nowhere," I sigh deeply.
"What little shit?" Kate asks.
"Helton?" Chris asks and I nod my head sideways.
"That little yearbook shit. Seriously it's like he has nothing else to do other than bug the hell out of me. I need to do something about him," I reply back and a smirk plays on Kate's lips.
"Who's this yearbook dude I keep hearing about?" Kate asks with a smile on her face.
"Trust me he's not worth our time but anyways let's get this party rolling," I reply back.
"Let's get this party started guys," violet shouts and everyone breaks out into dancing and laughing.
The DJ puts some music on and everyone dances to it and we go out to the pool.
"Hey I got some pictures, you mind helping the others with some more, thanks?" Cayson asks as he gives me a camera.
What the actual fuck?
I look around and don't see anyone from the yearbook. So, I roam around the house and take pictures of people who are sober.
I take pictures of some antique pieces and paintings.
After some time I see Cayson again and I hand him back the camera. "I took some pictures."
"No you didn't," he replies.
"Yeah, I did little shit."
"Oh I'm sorry I forgot to tell you that the storage is almost full. You mind getting another camera?" He asks.
"I don't have time for that right now. Just give me your phone and then transfer the pictures later," I suggest and he smiles.
"Here," he gives me a phone which is apparently doesn't look like his but I take it anyways.
At least he'll stop bugging me about it.

I took a lot of pictures of everyone sober at this party. Apparently there were many less after the last time I took their pictures so mostly they were pictures of Kate, violet, Chris and Tyler.
I have been running around for the past hour or so and finally I need a break. I find Cayson talking to some people and I give him back his phone. "I need a break."

I go out to the pool and look at Tyler who's waiting to jump in the pool.
"Wanna take a dip?" Tyler asks.
"Always," I reply and take off my cardigan revealing a maroon swimsuit.
Tyler and I jump into the pool as I notice Kate and Chris also jumping right after us. Violet and Ian are talking on the side but when they notice us jumping inside, they also join us.
"As horrible as the feeling of you disappearing was, don't ever leave us Vee," Kate says as Chris helps her pull her hair off the swimsuit.
"Promise," I reply back and we form a group hug. "I love you guys."
"And we love you," they all reply back in unison.
"Such a great group hug and I hate to break it, I really do, but I need your teensy weensy hands around a camera and not them. Let's go," I hear Cayson who comes out of nowhere and stands at the steps of the pool.
"I don't volunteer after school hours," I reply back as Kate smirks at me as she looks between Cayson and I.
"Oh too bad because that's when the real volunteering starts," he replies with a huge smirk on his face.
"I already took so many pictures since the last hour. Now it's your time to take them," I say and he tilts his head sideways.
"C'mon get your shit together and come out so we can take some pictures."
He leaves the area and goes inside and talks to some jocks.
"Who the fuck does he think he is anyways?" I mutter under my breath.
"The captain of the baseball team," Kate replies and I turn to face her.
"What?" I choke on my root beer.
"Yeah dumbass, he's Cayson. Cayson Quinn, the star of our school and apparently the captain of our baseball team," Kate replies back and I groan.
"So that's why he's got a shitty attitude," I mutter and look at him who is currently talking to some of the jock guys. "I wonder what he's doing in yearbook."
"Haven't you heard?" Tyler asks in a duh tone and I give him a confused look. "He has detention for a whole month so he also has to work for the yearbook."
"That little shit has been making me do his shit the whole party and you tell me this now?" I exclaim and quickly swim towards the end and get out.
"I didn't know," Tyler says innocently.
"He's about to catch these teensy weensy hands," I say as I wear my cardigan and walk towards him.
"Shit, stop her before she literally does something to him," Kate panics begins me but I don't listen to them and walk over to Cayson and his jock boys.
"Whoops guess the party's over, leave," I take a glass of wine out of one of his friends' hand and put it aside.
"Damn girl, harsh," a friend speaks and I face him with a fake smile on my face.
"Yeah, so are my hands when they come in contact with your cheeks. I said leave," I tell them and the boys slowly fade away into the crowd who are dancing.
"C'mon Stavish what was that for?" Cayson asks.
"Really? You have been making me work the whole party while you've been chilling and doing nothing."
"And?" He asks, trying to act all innocent.
"Is that what you're suppose to do in detention?"
He doesn't reply for a moment.
"Oh, So you know," he replies back and I nod.
"Were you even going to tell me?"
"I mean if you were doing all the work for me then no. Trust me I did feel bad when I made you work for an hour."
"Yeah like I believe you now. Do you even play the guitar?"
"That part was right. I seriously need a girl to sing with, my offer still stands."
"Yeah? Well, go find yourself another girl to fool and lie to," I say and leave him alone in the middle as I make my way to Kate and others.
