Slowly but surely a week came by in the blink of an eye. The goodbyes were kept short, Matty cried but the rest of us didn't..... he's a mommy's boy. Now it'll just be us and dad -except for if Isabella comes back on holiday- and I think we're all happy with that.

Ok I know I said that Matty was the only one that cried but the last thing that our mother said to me made me tear up a little, "Hopefully next time I'll be able to do this right" She murmured before kissing me on the head

That is if she decides to come back....

But now, back to reality. Dad received quite a lot of phone calls from school, they said that my siblings and I have been missing way too much school and that if the patterns continue then they'll have no choice but to call CPS or some shit like that. He's started to work more ever since Mom left and we felt a little bad so we decided to come up with a timetable

"Ok Mondays?"

"I can do drop offs with Logan" June suggests

I write it on the whiteboard

'June drops Matty'

I've started helping Melissa on some Monday mornings, I'm now dropping Grace to school since Maya doesn't live close enough to do so. Carter would but coach finally decided to let him back onto the team and that means more practise, "Adri you and Lola will take turns in the kitchen"

"Great" Adri says sarcastically

"What about dinners" Matty asks

"I'll take Saturday and Sundays, Santi will take Monday, Tuesday. Other days we can order"

"Good?" I then ask

"Good" Zoe says with a mouthful of chips

"It would be good to hear from the Rodriguez clan"

"Good" My siblings say in unison

I put the cap back on the pen, "That's a plan"

The timetable helped, for those wondering.

Back to the present though, it's Monday which marks the first day where the teachers are tracking my siblings and I's presence, "Did you buy breakfast?"

Santi nods, "See you at the party"

"Later" I reply

Yeah I forgot to mention, Carters finally throwing a party at his house tonight. I respond to one of Siennas texts before opening my locker, "Hey" A very very unexpected voice says

I frown as I turn back, "Hey?"

She tucks a hair behind her ear, "So I know that this apology has been way way overdue and I probably should've done it as soon as you got back but the truth is I was a pussy and I just couldn't..... anyway I'm sorry"

I raise my eyebrows as I hold my locker door, "Wow.... That was a lot of words"

"Yeah, but seriously Carmen I am sorry" She says softly

"Why?"

"Why?" She repeats slowly with confusion

"What were you trying to achieve"

"I don't know I guess I just.....- I was jealous" Eliza finally admits

I assess her body language for a moment, I guess I can't spot any signs that show she doesn't mean it..... nonetheless forgiveness doesn't come easy, "Carmen"

We both look back as Carter frowns, "Hmm?" I answer

"Lunch?"

"Oh, right" I close my locker as he puts an arm around me

"You guys are good together" Was the last thing she said before I walked away with him

I didn't know how to respond to that, it was so suspiciously nice. "Sooo, why were you talking to Eliza?"

"She was apologising"

"You didn't believe it did you?"

"I don't know, she seemed sincere"

"Carmen" He says seriously

"She was nice" I defend

"She's fake" He corrects

"Your so cute" I say amused

Carter scoffs as we make it to the cafeteria, "I just want you to be careful"

"And I will be" I assure him before taking a seat besides Zoe

She's in the midst of making out with Aaron, Carter and I look at each other with disgust. "Hi yeah um, we get that you guys have made peace but some of us don't want to see that" June looks at then with disturbance

Zoe finally releases and Aaron pulls her chair closer, "Aww Zaaron is back" I say amused

"You guys literally make me feel so single" Sienna mutters as she sits down

"Nobody told you to go for a college kid" Logan snorts

"The dick is better"

"Oh my god, ew" I scoff

"Anyways" June then says

"I hope that your all ready to get wasted today"

"I was born ready-... matter of fact I still am" Aaron tells us

"I second that"

"If any of you throw up on the couch your dead" Carter says seriously

"Relax, nobody will"

"And what about you Miss Rodriguez? Your all quiet" Sienna says amused

"Oh I'm not getting drunk today"

I've had way too many regretful hangovers

They all exchange looks and I frown, "Who wants to bet?" Aaron asks

"Me" Carter suddenly says, I gape at him and he shrugs

"You'll get drunk, I know it"

I scoff. "You know what, I won't just to spite you"

"We'll see-

"Yeah, we will"

I slap his hand away from my thigh but he eventually puts it back, "Hey Mr and Mrs Miller. Stop making me feel single"

"Once again nobody told you to go for my brother"

"And like I said before, the dick is better"

I'll admit, it's weird seeing Carters house full of teenagers.... Of all ages. I guess everyone heard that he was throwing a party and just couldn't wait to finally see what the inside of his house looked like, I'm surprised Melissa even agreed.

"The worst part of all of this is we're gonna have to be the ones to clean the mess!" Maya shouts over the music

I hand her a beer, "Don't remind me"

She clinks her beer against my water, yes water... i'm not losing this bet. "There you are" My little brother scoffs before snaking his arms around her from behind

She smiles at him, "Hey"

"Chris bought the coke" He grins

"Sorry what?" I butt in

"Relax C, it's one night" Santiago assures me

"Let's go" Maya leads him through a crowd of people and I scoff

Sometimes I have to remind myself that my little brother isn't so little anymore, but then again would I even be a big sister if I wasn't at least a little bossy.

"Who's that?" A voice asks from behind me

"I don't know but she's too young to be here" The other says amused

As I turn around that's when I notice Grace, she's standing by the stairs wiping her eyes. "Grace" I widen my eyes before walking towards her

She frowns as she looks around, the party environment is all new to her. "Hey sorry about the noise" I say softly

She continues to look around before taking the hand that I reached out to her, "Let's go"

Thankfully I was able to get her to go back to sleep, I told Michael to lower the music down a little as if that would even do anything. You know what I regret though? Making that bet....

The reason I'm not sitting with my friends right now is because they're all drinking or they're probably already drunk, and yes I know I could just drink and forget about the bet but I like proving people wrong.... It's just one night.

I'm hoping that food can distract me, I'll regret it when the morning comes but right now I just need the distraction. "Still want those?" I ask Tamera as I walk into the kitchen

"No it's cool you can have some" She gives me the plate of brownies before going through the fridge and I thank her before starting to indulge right away

She pauses before looking back at me, "C those are-

"These are good, thanks T" And with that I walk away

Although I probably should've listened to what she had to say...

I look through one of my draws before putting on another shirt yet again, I had to change because some dick decided to run around whilst drunk and then throw up on me. A knock is heard from the other side of my door and I look away from the mirror, "Nobodies allowed up here-

The door opens and Grace walks in with her hand attached to Aaron's, "She doesn't like the noise" He shuts it and I look at her softly

"Wanna sleep in my bed?"

She nods before lifting up the comforter and I smile a little, "What time is everyone getting cleared out?"

"Latest, four" I answer

"Have you seen Zo?" He then asks me

"No why?"

"I'm horny" He mumbles

I'm not surprised

A female voice scoffs as she shakes the handle, "Why the fuck is the door locked"

Aaron frowns as he opens it, "C?"

Beyond beautiful she looks, and I've made sure to let her know since the moment she stepped into the house. But I'm wondering where the hell her heels are, her white painted toes are on display.

"Oh my god there you are"

"You ok?" I say amused, she wraps her arms around my torso

"Where've you been?" Aaron asks

"Everywhere"

I hug her back, "What's wrong?"

Carmen pulls away from me, "I need to get fucking wasted"

"You still haven't?" Aaron says surprised

She unzips the back of her dress and he looks away, "No-

"Woah what are you doing" I zip her back up

"It's hot-

"Keep the zip up"

Carmen waves me off, "Aaron's already seen me without a dress"

I frown, "By accident" He adds quickly

She looks back at my sister before smiling, "Hey Gracie"

She's acting weird

I watch as my girlfriend crawls onto the bed before getting into the comforter and lying beside her, Grace smiles before whispering hi.

"Ooh I can show you where the secret stash of vodka is" Carmen whispers back to my sister

"What?" Aaron frowns, Grace giggles and I do a double take

"Wait a minute are you high?"

She stares up at the ceiling, "I'm sober silly"

"Carmen" Aaron says seriously

She sits up before shivering, "I'm not.... But I feel sick"

"Why?" I ask suspiciously

"Tamera gave me a plate of brownies"

My face drops, "Carmen"

"I was hungry!" She defends

"They're full of weed" Aaron scoffs, Grace frowns

"What's weed?"

My girlfriend gapes before covering her mouth.... Then she starts giggling. "For the love of God" I mutter

"I'll get her some water" Aaron says before walking out

"Watch her" I warn my sister, she nods and I head into the bathroom to fetch my phone

Trust Carmen to take edibles without even knowing. I'll make a note to say something to Tamera afterwards, I hear the door close so I leave quickly.

"I said to watch her" I scoff

"She ran away" Grace giggles

I sigh before walking out, "Night" I close the door before heading downstairs

The house is full of a lot of brunettes so I know it's going to be a bit of a mission to find mine.

Aaron walks out of the kitchen with a bottle of water, "What happened?"

"She's gone"

"Who?" Zoe frowns

"Carmen.... And she's high too"

"I knew she wouldn't last" She tuts

"Did anyone else eat the brownies?" I ask

Zoe downs the rest of her drink, "Only C. I'll look upstairs"

"I'll look in the front room"

I nod a thanks before pushing my way through a bunch of strangers, "Hey have you seen your sister?"

Adriana shrugs before walking back over to her friends. I checked the bathroom, I checked both front rooms, heck I even checked upstairs again. After another good five minutes I was about to give up, but then I spotted her..... in the backyard.

She's sat besides Chris with her head down, snorting coke. "Oh for fuck sake" I mutter before walking over to the group of guys

I gently pull her up by the arm and she pulls away, "Hey!"

After realising that it's me she places a kiss onto my cheek and then wraps her arms around my waist, "I love you"

"Why the fuck would you give her coke?" I say annoyed

"She wanted to try" Chris defends

"She's already high you asshole"

"No I'm not" Carmen mumbles

I sigh before taking her hand and leading her back into the main house, "Baby"

"Yes?"

"I'm so happy"

"I can see that"

"Are you mad?"

"A little"

"Why?" She asks as I sit besides her on the couch

"Because your not being careful"

Carmen strokes my jawline before turning me to face her, "C-

She presses her lips onto mine and I'm forced to kiss her back as she holds me in that position, "Carmen" I pull away

"Did you hear me say I love you?"

"I love you too but you need sleep"

She pouts as I get up, "Come on"

I sigh stressfully as my girlfriend kicks the comforter away once more, "Carmen just stay in the bed"

She sits up so that her face is inches away from mine, "Make me"

"What would it take"

Her eyes look down at my lips, "Give me head-

Oh trust me I'd love to.... Just not right now

"Try again"

I watch as she lies back down whilst huffing, "Your no fun"

"Sleep off the high, we'll play tomorrow" I promise

"Whatever you say" She hums whilst scrolling through her phone

I try to get a peek at her phone screen, "Relax it's candy crush"

Once assured that Carmen wouldn't be leaving anytime soon, I give her a kiss on the head before reaching over for the lamp, "I'll come check on you later-

"Renzo" She sings

I frown as I look back, "Why the fuck are you shouting?" Her brother questions over the phone

"I ate a lot of brownies and now I'm horny" She laughs

The door opens and Aaron walks in, "You mean your high" Enzo deadpans

"Why are we in the guest room?" Aaron asks as he shuts the door

"Grace is sleeping in mine-

"Yes, I'm high. Carter won't give me head"

I roll my eyes and Aaron raises his eyebrows a little, "TMI" He mutters

"Your not supposed to tell me this shit" Enzo says with disgust

She twirls her hair around her finger, "Are you kidding? Your my best friend-

"Carter just give the girl her head" And with that he cuts the call

Carmen smiles as she tosses her phone aside, "You done?" I question

She shakes her head, "It's bed time" Aaron tells her

"I want Carter to stay with me"

"He'll stay until you fall asleep" He replies as I kick off my sneakers

My brunette lifts up the comforter for me and I slide in beside her, she inhales as she lies close to me. "You smell so good" Carmen murmurs lazily

Aaron smiles a little before closing the light, "She's a keeper"

I stroke her hair as her eyes shut, "I know"

It was a fight but I got Carmen to stay upstairs in the end, whether she's currently asleep or not is beyond me. "She upstairs?" Adri asks with amusement

"Yup" I reply before opening the front door

There stands my two favourite relatives

"About time"

Mia snorts, "Relax it's only eleven"

Travis follows her in before reaching up to ruffle my hair, I grab his arm before he can even get the chance. "Where's my goddess?" He asks

"I don't know, but mines upstairs-

We hear a gasp over the music, "Trav!" Carmen reaches up to hug both of my cousins and they return it with amusement

I sigh, "Carmen"

She even took it upon herself to change out of her dress and into one of my shirts..... with no shorts on, "She's high isn't she" Mia says knowingly

I nod

"Good luck with that" She pats me on the back before walking further into the house

Carmen climbs onto my back and Travis watches, "What a lucky guy you are-....oh"

I turn to look where he's looking, "Another goddess" He notices

"Adriana" I correct

"Single?"

"Not a relationship person"

My cousin snorts, "Do you know who I am?"

I roll my eyes

"Carter I want more brownies" Carmen murmurs into my ear

I shut the front door, "No"

Travis walks away as I lower my crackhead onto the ground, "Bedtime" I say seriously

She traces my v-neck innocently, "Ok daddy"

I clench my jaw before taking her arm, ignoring the comment that just made me hard
