EPISODE 22

Ace drove his car to the forest where their special house was. He parked his car in front of the house and grabbed his backpack from the passengers seat.

He started walking towards the house with the backpack sludged at his back.

He unlocked the front door with his key and walked inside the house.

He walked inside the house and closed the door behind him then dropped his backpack on the couch before walking inside the kitchen, he needed to eat something or he'd pass out.

He opened the fridge and luckily he saw two apples and fried chicken wings.

He brought them out of the fridge and turned to the microwave.

The thought of Catherine filled his mind. He just doesn't know what to do with her.

He doesn't understand why she couldn't remember him or could she be acting? could she be acting as if she doesn't know him just so he could be lenient towards her.

He could remember the promise she made when she was thirteen. The year she left him and never turned back. The year she left without a goodbye. The year she created a monster that vowed to torment her memory.

Flashback.

Ace 14, Catherine 13.

Ace sat under the peach tree in front of his aunt's house and looked up at the sky, the sun shine bright into his eyes and he grinned widely, a carefree smile on his face.

"If you keep looking at the sun like that your eyes will get damaged." A teenage girl said as she sat down beside him.

A young girl with crazy curves, golden hair like an angel and pouty lips. Catherine Meyers, Ace's beloved.

Ace smiled at her and held her hand in his.

"It is a beautiful afternoon, Cath. I feel like sitting here like this with you everyday." He said and laughed.

"I like seeing you happy," Catherine said and placed her head on his shoulder. "Are you happy?"

Ace thought of that question for a while before nodding his head.

"Yes, I am happy because you're here with me, I can sit down here with you under the peach blossom everyday without getting tired." He responded with a grin.

Catherine removed her head from his shoulder and sniffed in.

Her eyes became watery and her lips quivered.

Ace couldn't help but get worried.

"What is wrong? Did I say something wrong my love? Are you angry about something?" He desperately asked but she wasn't answering. He wondered what he did wrong to offend his girl.

She was just happy some seconds ago.

"I am sorry, Ace." She whispered softly and closed her eyes. "I am sorry."

Ace was frustrated and confused. He didn't know the reason behind that apology.

"Why are you sorry? What are you sorry for? You did nothing to me sweetheart, I love you so much." He told her and placed both of his hands on her cheeks. "I am so much in love with you."

Catherine opened her eyes and slowly removed his hands from her cheeks.

"I am leaving, dad won in court, he is talking custody of me until I turn 18, that is in the next five years." She said sadly.

Ace couldn't believe his ears, she was leaving for Australia, leaving him for good. He couldn't believe his ears. She promised. She promised.

"I will come to visit during Christmas break, don't worry, I'll always call you on the phone," she reassure him but the main issue was that she didn't keep her promise.

Catherine left for Australia and never came back. She broke her promise.

PRESENT......

How could he just forget that she left him, she promised to come back after leaving but didn't check up on him nor look for him meanwhile she was living well.

She forgot the memories they created in London and made a new one for herself, she deserves nothing but punishment. She deserves whatever it is coming her way and she's going to get it.

She would surely get it. No one plays with Ace Hampton's heart and go scot free, no one has and no one will, not even the only girl he loves.

He walked out of the kitchen and went inside the living room, he sat down on a couch and took a deep breath.

She made him that way. She made him her monster and she was going to pay for it.

He took a bite of the apple pie and his phone started ringing, he brought his phone out of his pants pocket and checked the caller.

It was his Mom.

He answered the call and placed it against his ear.

"Ace Hampton, where in the Lord's name are you?" Veronica Hampton asked. Ace rolled his eyes and sighed.

"We're yiu told that I went missing? I can take care of myself." He responded rudely.

"I swear on my mother's grave, if you don't tell me where you are right now...."

Ace let out a frustrated sound, he just couldn't understand why the woman wouldn't let her be.

"I'm in the forest house, I hope that made you happy." He responded before hanging up.

Before he could drop the phone, another call came in.

He saw his mother's name again and rolled his eyes.

"Yes, Mother."

"I forgot to tell you that we will be going to the Queens house tonight for dinner, make sure you're here on time."

Three years ago when he returned to America, he met a girl that was smart and beautiful. He got close to her and they became friends, their family thought it would be great for them to get married so they got engaged, it was all going great until she cheated on him with his best friend!

Everything changed, friendship ruined.

Kisa Queens name became an abomination to his ear.

"I am not going," he retorted after a long silence.

"Why is that? We talked about this before. Your marriage will be fixed with next month so that you can both get married before going to college." Veronica said.

"I told you, mother. I'm not going to marry Kisa Queens!"

"You will, calmly or forcefully."
