Catherine was preparing earnestly for the wedding. Of course with the help of Talia and Anitra things were easier for her.

Veronica Hampton took charge of the wedding necessities, she would plan the wedding and give out invitations to the people and some invitations to Ace and Catherine to invite their friends as well.

Veronica Hampton had a popular designer make a wedding dress that cost several millions of dollars for Catherine and a costume made suit for Ace.

It was indeed the wedding of the year.

News was already everywhere about the wedding and people were talking about it. While some were excited for the new couple, others were dragging them to get married so soon when Ace just recently broke up with Chelsey.

"I want you to be there on my wedding day and you know what? I don't want to hear any excuses, you're going to be there. I don't care about your beef with Ace. I literally don't give a fuck but you have to be there for me and if I noticed that you're not there I'm going to be very sad." Catherine said to Anitra. Anitra picked up the ball and threw it inside the basket then turned to face her.

"Both of us know that this is not possible, your fiance is gonna be mad if he sees me there and I don't want anything to spoil your day for you." He replied and smiled at her. " Don't worry not being able to attend your wedding won't stop me from congratulating you."

Catherine rolled her eyes and brought out her phone from her jeans shirt pocket.

She dialed a number and pressed the phone against her ear.

"Hey Butterfly." Ace greeted her.

"Babe, can you come to my house please? I have something important to discuss with you." She said to him,

" Something important? Is everything okay, are you okay?" He inquired almost instantly.

" Everything is okay, you're going to find out when you come here, see you soon." She said and hung up the phone.

" Seriously you didn't have to do that, Ace will only get them mad at you, I know him he is never going to allow me to his wedding, and it's better if I don't go because if I come to your wedding I will have to bring a date and you are not going to like my date." Anitra affirmed and walked towards her. " Whatever is going through your mind right now is right. I am seeing Kisa and I promise it is just recently, I never had a romantic relationship with Kisa when she was dating Ace."

Catering was speechless, she didn't know what to say, during their reunion she could feel that Anitra was looking at Kisa in ways she never saw him look at before.

She never thought that they could be dating. It was a big surprise to her.

Ace is never going to believe that Kisa didn't cheat on him with Anitra and even Catherine was having doubts if Anitra was actually telling her the truth.

"See what I mean your expression changed immediately I mentioned Kisa, you don't like her and Ace doesn't like her either. it just won't work."

" You can come to my wedding without a date, it is not necessary. I just want to see you and I don't care about you having a date or not. It is really not fair and you know what's not fair? it's not fair that you are dating the same girl that made life hell for me in high school. I literally didn't expect this from you. You are my best friend and I trust and I'm truly disappointed." Catherine said and shook her head. " Is she even sorry? I bet she hasn't changed at all. How can you be with that kind of person?"

" The same way you got to be with Ace. Do I have to remind you that he bullied you in high school? This is not a matter of the person I'm dating, it's a matter of if the person is compatible with me. If the person has changed for me and Kisa has changed she is ready to turn to a brand new life and she's sorry for whatever she did to you in high school I bet she was sorry." Anitra muttered.

Catherine just couldn't believe it. How did it happen? How did Anitra fall in love?

"I'm tired." She muttered. "Let's go to the patio, I'll have Margaret bring refreshments for us."

Catherine's mother and Margaret returned to New York for the wedding preparation of Catherine. She was excited to have the people that matter to her around her.

While they were sipping on the wine that Margaret brought for them, two cars drove inside the compound immediately Catherine could tell that it was her fiance.

She dropped her glass of wine on the table and stood up from her chair and rushed towards the car.

When Ace got out of the car she threw her arms around his neck, hugging him tightly to herself.

"I miss you so much." She whispered softly and Ace chuckled. He caressed her hair and kissed her forehead.

"We had breakfast together how can you miss me so soon?" He asked playfully.

" Free me, Babe I just miss you so much."

" Whatever you say, my sweet Butterfly so what is it that you wanted to talk to me about?" He asked her as she started leading him towards the patio. When he saw Anitra sitting there he stopped walking.

"Don't stop, I called you for something important."

They both sat down facing Anitra.

" What is going on?" Ace queried. The smiles on his face already left him.

"No, I should be asking you that question. What the hell is going on? Do I have to remind you that you are already 20 years old and still sulking from what happened over 4 years or 3 years ago? it is not right, I mean Anitra here is my best friend and you are my fiance, we are going to get married, if you don't get along with my best friend then what do you have me do?" She asked softly. " Before our wedding I want peace. It has been so long that it has been going on and I would like a little hand right here on the low please I beg of you."

" Did he tell you that he is dating Kisa or is he going to lie that he had no sexual relationship was Kisa when I was dating her? for your information this guy was my best friend at that time and you said what? for me to forgive him? because of what? I could care less. I don't give a fuck neither am I going to make peace with this piece of s***."Ace bellowed. He pushed back his chair and stood up but Catherine quickly grabbed his hand.

"Don't do this, think of me, think about me, think about how I will feel seeing my fiance and my friend not being on good terms, it hurts. Please I beg of you, no matter what, the things that happened in the past should stay in the past. Let's move forward and create new memories together. I beg of you." Catherine preached.

Anitra was silent while watching the drama unfold. He wouldn't want to get himself into the mess and he was sure that Catherine was just wasting her time.

Ace sat back down on the chair and sighed. "I was angry. Seeing Anitra, whom I thought was my friend kissing my girlfriend, was a huge blow to me. I assumed that they must have slept with each other. Catherine is right, the things of the past should stay in the past. I have found the one that belongs to me. It will be selfish of me to keep holding on to the memories of another." He said and smiled. " I wish you all the best in your relationship with Queens."

Anitra was shocked he wasn't sure if the person that just talked to him was actually Ace Hampton or a clown.

Catherine giggled and winked at Anitra. "What did I say my man is the best, now you don't have any excuse for not coming to my wedding."

" You have got me." He mumbled and they laughed.

What a happy reunion.
