《The Goblin's Leveling System!》I Am Tasked To Eliminate The Human Hero?
"Do I need to kill them?", I whisper to the system so that the approaching humans won't hear me.
*Yes.*
Looks like it can't be helped then. So I'm eliminating 4 humans? How many levels will I get after slaying them? Just the thought of it makes me excited.
Since it is normal for a monster to kill a human so I don't need to feel guilty when I kill them.
There are 4 humans I need to eliminate. A swordsman, a tank, a mage, and a priest.
Why do I feel that the swordsman is special or noble?
*Host has triggered a hidden task.*
That fast to activate a hidden task? I don't know if it's bad luck or good luck.
*Will the host accept the hidden task? Yes or No?*
Can I see the task first?
*Host can't see the hidden task if the host hasn't accepted it yet.*
I accept. It will at least help me get stronger if I take risks.
*Host has accepted the hidden task.*

Wait that swordsman is a hero? Looks like I was right that the swordsman is someone special but I didn't expect it to be the human hero.
*The host is in luck. The host will need to obtain the Hero title to have the eligibility to fight the Demon Lord*
I don't know if I'm lucky or not. I mean fighting the hero this early will put me at a disadvantage since the hero is gifted with powerful abilities and skills.

*The host doesn't need to worry. If the host can't defeat the hero then the system will warn you. The hero is newly summoned and has no experience in fighting except for his boosted status and skills.*
*Host will become overpowered with the help of the system and the hero's stats and skills.*
*The hero and his allies can't match the host's Intelligence and Wisdom so the system suggests the host to use a high-level skill to defeat the hero's party in one shot.*
Can I defeat them in one shot?
*As long as the host can activate a high-level skill.*
Well, that's reassuring. Now, what's the most powerful spell that I can think of and doesn't consume that much mana...
Oh, I know! I will cast one of the high-level magic in the anime I watched. I will use explosion magic!
So I need to visualize a huge explosion but I need to concentrate it in a ball of fire. By doing so, I can make a huge explosion but with the appearance of a low-level spell known as a fireball.
The humans will surely underestimate a Level 1 goblin casting a low-level fireball spell.
The spell is ready!
"Explosive Fireball!!!", I chant.
The fireball slowly approaches the hero's party making them notice the fireball and even me.
"Looks like there is a goblin mage in there, hero-sama!", The female priest says to the hero.
"The goblin mage even chanted a weak fireball spell. Look how slow it is to reach us. We can even dodge it not to mention I can block it easily.", The male tank brags to the hero.
"How about I chant a magic shield to protect us from the fireball?", The male mage suggests to the hero.

"No need to make a fuss about it. With my stats being boosted, I can take this attack head-on. After receiving the attack, I will slay this goblin so that my level will increase.", The Hero brags to his party.
The hero steps out of his party and goes in the direction where the fireball will hit. The hero even drops his sword as if taunting me that he can take my attack without using his sword.
The fireball hits the hero and it suddenly causes a huge explosion. The fireball explodes and causes a powerful shockwave that even made me almost fly so I take hold of the nearest tree.
The explosion left out a huge crater with a 20-meter diameter. I can't even see the corpse of the hero's party.
*Ding!* 20x
*The host has leveled up* 20x
"Wow! That's a lot of notifications. The hero's party gave me a lot of exp. I even leveled up 20 times!" I exclaim in excitement.
*Ding!* 2x
*The host has completed the task.*
*The host has completed the hidden task.*
*The host will receive the task rewards. Will the host accept? Yes or No?*
Only an idiot will accept no.
"Yes!"
*Host has received +25 stats, plain clothing, and the hero's stats and skills.*
"Status!" I chant.

Demons Don't Lie
Algier, average human and recent convict, has committed the gravest sin of all: demon slaying. His fate? To participate in the Culling, a battle-royale style tournament that’s televised live to the world, where all the worst criminals go to die. As with all tournaments, a prize is on the line. If Algier survives, he can have any wish granted by the Marquises, the new rulers of Earth following the demons’ invasion. However, there’s little hope for survival in a tournament designed to have demons do the work of the executioner, especially for a human. Demons are stronger, faster, wiser, and more talented than the average human, and, despite his crime, Algier is no demon hunter. Mentally defeated before the tournament even begins, Algier is torn between becoming another demon’s points and fighting on in his dead mother’s legacy. But should he choose to fight, there is one advantage that Algier has that can tip the odds in his favour: Demons don’t lie, but humans can. How to read this story Demons Don't Lie is written from the perspective of an unreliable (lying) narrator. There are many inconsistencies within the story which are placed there intentionally. It's up to the reader to decide what is the truth and what is the lie. Promotion Full quality cover image
