《The Goblin's Leveling System!》Meeting The (Weak) Human Heroes
Advertisement
It is already morning. I must've slept well since I didn't even wake up last night.
*The host is right. The system didn't let the host wake up so that the host can have a good night's sleep. The host's comrades were noisy last night but it didn't hinder the host from his good night sleep thanks to the system.*
'System, How strong am I? I think I'm overpowered right now with the use of my 100k attack stat.'
*The host is weak as heck right now. You can't even defeat a demon general right now let alone the demon lord. But the host's strength can match a demon leader.*
'What are the demon's rankings?'
*From weakest to strongest is Demon Villager, Demon Soldier, Demon Leader, Demon Commander, Demon General, High Demon, Demon Noble, Supreme Demon, Archdemon, Demon Lord, and lastly Demon Ancestor.*
'Wait... So there is a demon who is stronger than the Demon Lord?'
*The host is right and they are also called the previous generations of Demon Lords.*
'How do I get stronger in a short amount of time? I need to prepare myself or I can't protect this world if the demon tries to invade our land.'
*Host can forget about leveling up as it is useless which can only give the host measly stats.*
*The system suggests the host focus on completing system tasks and eating another magical beast.*
'How do I trigger a system task?'
*That depends on the host's current situation and problem. If the demon lord appears and invades the kingdoms then the host will trigger an Impossible Rank task which can reward you for defeating the demon lord which is absorbing the whole stats of the demon lord.*
'I don't want that to happen but I might face the demon lord soon. Maybe a year later.'

*The host doesn't need to worry since the demon lord won't attack any kingdom but his armies are a different story.*
'I'll talk to your system later. I need to prepare myself to meet the human heroes.'
*Ok, host but the system will suggest you refrain from fighting other heroes or you will lose some allies. Just beat them up when they are arrogant.*
'I understand. I will beat them up that even their mother won't recognize them!'
I get up from my bed, take a bath and then wear some clothes.
We were told by the king to go to the palace to meet the human heroes.
I am now heading to the palace and I am surprised that the palace is restored even though I destroyed half of it.
The King is sitting on a golden throne with jewels. The King must be that rich to even use golds and jewels to decorate his throne.
Some humans are on their seats that are prepared by the king.
After observing the heroes, I can only say one thing. They are weak as heck. They can't even defeat a demon soldier in their current state.
After I entered the palace and sat on my chair, Zale, Sophie and Mathew enters and also sat on their chairs.
After all of us heroes are here, the king speaks and says, "It is my honor to have your presence in my palace, heroes. If it isn't rude of me to ask then can I ask what level are you all and if your level is low then I will arrange combat instructors for you to learn and experience some self-defense and martial arts?"
"I am level 89!", The human hero with short black hair says. She is one of the two female human heroes.

"I am level 104", The human hero with shoulder-length red hair says. She is one of the two female human heroes.
"I am level 125", The human hero with brown hair who I think is their leader says.
"I am level 93", The human hero with brown hair who is equipped with heavy armor and who I think is their tank says.
"I am still level 2", The human hero with pitch-black hair who is the weakest of the human hero says.
I think that the heroes are getting along except for the level 2 hero who I think is the one getting bullied by them.
"As I expected from the heroes! Most of you are already at a high level! Mind if I ask why one of you is still level 2?", The beastman king asks.
"Sorry if you think he's weak your honor. He is the only one who doesn't want to continue his hero duties and slacks off all the time.", The human hero with brown hair replies.
"It's fine but at least most of you are willing to accept your hero's duties despite being summoned to this world. I do admit that I'm quite surprised that 4 of you are willing to aid us in defeating the demon lord.", The beastman king says.
"It is not a big deal your honor. We are glad to aid the other heroes In defeating the demon lord.", The human hero with brown hair says.
"I will request a combat instructor to help the level 2 hero gain some levels so that he can join you in your-"
Just as King is about to finish his message, the level 2 hero interrupts.
"Just who do you think you are to command me to train even though this world kidnapped me and now ask us to defeat a f*cking demon lord?! You have guts for a kidnapper!", The hero with pitch-black hair says.
'Now that's what I want to hear! Someone with the right mentality who honestly says what he wants to say even with the presence of someone who helps the kidnapper kidnaps him.'
The royal guard beside the king starts to shout, "How dare you speak to the king like that! How impudent and disrespectful of you-"
[Abyss Of Darkness], I chant and direct the spell towards the royal guard which then swallows him in neverending darkness leaving no trail behind even his corpse.
"Now, now. That hero is right. Why should he listen to his kidnapper? May I ask you, the king if someone kidnaps you, will you listen to his demands? I'm sure you wouldn't so nor would he do the same.", I ask the king while clapping that the sound permeates the whole throne room.
"How can you defeat a level, 300 royal guards! You have been summoned recently so you shouldn't be above level 200 and how dare you to speak to me like that!", The king says.
"I think it's laughable that you are suited for being a king with that temper of yours!", I insult the king.

(Formerly: Tales of a Harrowed House) Synopsis: This is the tale of an exiled royal family who, after their bloody reunion on the island of Providence, return to a war-torn homeland where once more, powerful forces pit sibling against sibling in a bid for the crown — and once more, the magical streets of Auctor echo their infamous motto: “Fire will Reign as Harrowbirds Soar!” From his humble beginnings as a shoemaker’s son, his year spent as a daringly brazen orphan caught between rivaling Houses and a mad ghost, and his fight for the crown after his return to Auctor, Corbyn faces a coming-of-age story unlike any before him as he discovers magic and birthright are two things he never knew he had. From the intimate narrative of a childhood that was never her own, her year spent struggling to find the person she is rather than the person her family needs her to be, the secrets she hides, and the truths she finds, Halle discovers herself on the fabled island of Providence as her House collapses around her, bids to enter a legendary school of magic in her homeland of Auctor, and fights for a crown she never knew she wanted. A high-action, character-focused story written with a poet’s styling, The Harrowbird’s Crown is a tale that will transport readers into the conflict and conquest of a royal family back on the rise. General Information: This story is more traditionally plotted. While the beginning may seem to start out slowly, when shit hits the fan: the action is constant, the mysteries are satisfying, and the character development is rewarding. The Kodoku Game
In Japanese folklore, there once existed an ancient technique among alchemists for harvesting the strongest poison known to man. A poison so vicious, so horrendous, that a single drop could incapacitate an entire nation of humans, several times over. A poison so intense that a single drop could turn the tides of a war on its head. As potent as it appeared however, this poison could be harvested from the blood of a single insect alone- an insect the alchemist’s called the ‘Kodoku’. As lucrative as was attaining this poison however, the problem lied in identifying this insect- its appearance, shape and size changed from region to region and from continent to continent. Sometimes it took the appearance of a ladybug and other times a horned-beetle. In order to determine the identity of this special insect the alchemists came up with an ingenious method. They created an impregnable jar of clay out of the best sandstone they could find and placed hundreds of different insects into the same jar. The jar was made with such great mastery that it allowed no insects to escape and allowed no objects to enter. The laws of nature dictated that the insects would remain together in the jar forever. However, it turned out that as time went on, the insects’ hunger for food and power caused them to turn against each other- one insect ate another until only one remained. This sole insect contained a poison that far surpassed that of all the others and became stronger as it ate more and more insects. The alchemists at this point had succeeded in identifying the Kodoku and could extract it’s poison as long as they continued to feed it regularly. Although this folklore ends here, the actual story does not. One day, as the alchemists cheered in joy of having identified the Kodoku they so eagerly wanted, they forgot to close the lid on the very jar that was considered to be completely impregnable. This small gap was just large enough for the Kodoku inside to crawl out. Famished from not having been fed for weeks, the Kodoku ended up eating the very alchemists that nourished its growth until not even the bones remained. Yet, the Kodoku’s hunger didn’t seem to subside in the slightest. So it traveled to the next village and began eating whatever it could find there. Its poison made it unparalleled in strength and slowly but surely it began to dwindle down the population of the entire city. Yet its hunger only continued to grow. So it traveled to the next city over and ate all it could there. Very soon, the Kodoku couldn’t find any more food to eat. There was no one left to eat and no one left to spectate. So it stood there, by itself pondering what possibly was left to eat that could satiate its hunger. But there was one thing left that Kodoku realized it had never eaten. Itself.
