I rush out of Mr. Balos’ House and run to the Poultrigni first. I choose the one Poultrigni that always pecks at me since I feel a closer bond with it.

Next I head over to the Aquacertas, this is going to be a hard choice since I don’t have a particular bond. Then I see an Aquacerta that is different than the others, it is dark grey and was hidden in the mud. It is different from the others because of it’s color and also that it doesn’t have a sail on it’s back, instead it has multiple spines running along it’s back. This Aquacerta is even smaller than the others. It seems that this Aquacerta has been ostracized by the other Aquacertas. I feel a connection with it… I see myself in it… being forsaken by the others of my kind… I chose him.

Finally at the Caelups pen, I choose a special looking one. This Caelups has a silver like fur, and has blue eyes, instead of the normal brown. It seems this Caelups is the Alpha Male, it is also the largest of all of them.

I gather the three of them and bring them over to Mr. Balos’ House.

Hoohhh!!! So you choose these three! (Balos)

Okay, bring them inside my house.

What’s a Spirit Contract Mr. Balos? (Mevirs)

A Spirit Contract is formed between a monster and a human, it's easier to form a contract with lesser monsters than soul monsters. There also is a required familiarity level before it can work. There are also special contracts when different conditions are met. (Balos)

What’s a Life Contract? (Mevirs)

A Life Contract is when the monsters acknowledge their master and make a contract in which when the master dies, they also die. This contract also helps the monsters to more easily evolve and grow into stronger forms! (Balos)

I look at the palm of my left hand. There are 4 circles on it. 1 in the center and 3 on the sides, forming a triangle. Chain-like images connect the 3 outer circles to the 1 in the middle. One circle is red with the image of a bird, another is the color blue with the image of a lizard, and the last is the color silver with the image of a wolf. The circle in the center looks like a vortex of red, blue, and silver, combining into the color black.

Just so you know, the three monsters can be summoned back and forth from the Spirit Realm, you just need to call upon them with your mind and they will appear. (Belos)

I focus on my left hand and I think “RETURN”. Then just like magic, the three monsters turned into color beams and entered my left hand. My palm’s symbols are different now, there is only 1 large circle with the colors red, blue, and silver circling around an orb of black.

As I walk up to the Ronts Manor, I see 2 of the guards from before standing outside the gate.

I enter the house and I’m welcomed by maids and butlers.

She grabs ahold of the three and starts hugging them tightly.

She releases the three and stands back up.

Anyway Mevirs, since you decided to come to school with me, why don’t you stay here tonight? (Adaline)

Adaline leads me to a guest room that is incredibly nice. There is a large bed, a balcony, and even a private bathroom!

There are still a few hours before dinner time so I should start to cultivate my spirit.

I excuse myself from the table and return to the guest room. I lie on my bed contemplating many things about my life. I’m looking forward to tomorrow when I finally go to school, but I’m… sad. Why can’t I remember much from when I was younger? Where are my parents? Why did they leave me alone? There aren’t any answers to my questions… yet. If I become stronger, I might be able to find answers.

I finally sink into sleep, there is a big day tomorrow.
