Chapter 4: Baku’s Favorite Class
(Setting: Crystal Kingdom: High University- Mr. Inglin's World History class)
(Scene: Baku and his friends enter the classroom and are greeted by the teacher)
*Baku and his friends enter the World History classroom. It is as old fashioned a classroom as it can get complete with the blackboard, chalk and a large globe of Planet Eternia in the center as all the desk circle around it.
[Mr. Inglin]: *Sarcastically* Oh, welcome to class Lady Millia, and her band of undesirables. Did any of you happen to do your homework?
[Barrtio]: *Cheerfully* I did!
[Finn]: I did, too!
[Millia Grendar]: I did, three!
[Baku]: *Quietly* I didn't…
[Mr. Inglin]: Well Baku, I'm sure it wouldn't have made a difference anyways, your grades couldn't possibly go any lower, so it's not like it matters.
*Some students laugh at Baku, but the young peasant ignores them and tries to find a seat, as he couldn't care less about what they thought of him.
*Mr. Inglin's World History class is what was categorized by the High University as a base level class. Which basically meant that students in between the of grades Freshman and Upperclassmen can sign up for the lesson prior to the year beginning and after obtaining the courses credit, they can progress to higher learning subjects like Philosophy or Civics and go even farther than that if the scheduling permits it. Mr. Everstein's Algebra class was also a base level, not that it mattered to Baku.
[Baku]: *Thinking to himself* Oh great, Barrtio and Finn took both of my favorite seats, in the back close to a window…
*The teacher who was wearing a red sweater vest begins his lecture and starts writing on the chalkboard.
[Mr. Inglin]: Alright students, quiet down. Today, I'll be continuing this week’s lecture, Ancient Planet Eternia History before the nations came together with the help of the Holy Goddess.
[Mr. Inglin]: As we discussed last class, we talked about the 5 continents and the ancient families that ruled them during the great war…
*The teacher continues to blabber on about the lecture.
[Baku]: *Thinking to himself* Ho-ly shit... Now I realize why I'm failing my classes. This crap is boring beyond any normal human should be able to handle…
[Mr. Inglin]: Princess Savannah, please tell us about how the Holy Goddess brought the nations of Planet Eternia together using the World Guardian system.
[Baku]: *Thinking to himself* Holy crap, Savannah's gonna say something!
*Savannah elegantly stands up in order to give her explanation. She was so tall and beautiful, that Baku lost himself in checking the Princess out, her wide hips in specific that were hidden ever so slightly by her royal uniform skirt.
[Princess Savannah]: *Sigh* ... During the climax of a war that lasted nearly 1000-years, with the help of her deity servants, the Holy Goddess created the World Guardian system to bring peace to the planet.
[Princess Savannah]: There have been 14 World Guardians, each of which have had their journeys recorded and written in history books completely detailed for us to discuss hundreds of years after their deaths, up until to the 14th hero whom today for some reason, we know very little about…
[Mr. Inglin]: Excellent as always, Princess Savannah. Yes class, historians believe that the World Guardian system was created around 500 years into the great war, nearly halfway through it, before the Holy Goddess was able to take action upon what was occurring on the planet. Since the 14th World Guardian lived, for reasons that are unclear, there hasn't been a World Guardian called upon in any nation arisen in nearly 15 years. None of our historians nor do our philosophers know or understand the meaning behind this occurrence, but to be honest with you all, and I'm sure you'll agree with me here... I'm not complaining.

[Princess Savannah]: *Disdainfully adds* But none of that explains why or when the Crystal Kingdom was suspended in outer space, professor…
[Mr. Inglin]: Well Princess Savannah, the reason being as for why Crystal Kingdom is in outer space still may be unknown, but perhaps one day you will be the one to uncover the truth and make a land-breaking discovery.
[Princess Savannah]: *Rolls her eyes* Whatever…
*The bell rings and the class is dismissed. Mr. Inglin begins shouting over the ruffling papers, moving desks and chairs as the students pack their bags.
[Mr. Inglin]: Alright, this class is dismissed! Listen students, the next lesson will be on the World Guardian Ritual and History!
[Mr. Inglin]: *Still shouting* And Baku! Remember to try to do your homework!
[Baku]: *Tch* Really?
(Setting: Crystal Kingdom: High University- Main Hallway)
(Scene: Baku and his friends try to think of ways to help his grades)
[Baku]: Hoooollllyyyy FUCK! How the hell am I supposed to get my grades up in time for Mid-Term Exams when my history grade is literally down a toilet!?
[Barrtio]: Why don't you try finding the answers to all of your test and cheat off of them?
[Finn]: Yeah, there's nothing wrong with using cheat codes! I use them all the time in video games!
[Millia Grendar]: You morons, we're talking about getting Baku's grades up, not goofing off... *Smiles softly* Baku, how about you and I take time to study together for the classes your struggling in at my place? I could personally invite you to come over my manor and we can spend time studying with each other?
[Baku]: *Ugh* I hate the thought of studying for hours at a time... But, you know what? It's okay, it's almost the end of the day and my next class is one of my favorites. So, I'm not gonna let this bother me for now, so I'll deal with it later. I'll see you guys at lunch!
[Barrtio]: Alright, Baku! See ya later, dude!
*Baku splits from his friends and heads for his next class.
(Setting: Crystal Kingdom: High University- Mr. Yarish's Astronomy class)
(Scene: Baku enters the classroom and immediately notices Princess Savannah)
*Baku enters the Astronomy classroom, it is one of the most advanced halls in the entire High University.
*The desk were all connected and circling where the teacher would give lectures. A large projector powered by advanced military grade crystal technology was used to give extensive and detailed lessons on outer space and everything about it. There were shelves and display cases showing off pieces of astrological technology throughout the kingdom’s history, as well as specimens of spacial artifacts that were collected and donated to the school by very notable scientist and wealthy royals.
*This was Baku’s other favorite place in the whole school. Being in this class made him feel connected to something bigger every time he stepped in. Upon entering, Baku notices Princess Savannah boredly studying her notes, and begins to feel butterflies in his stomach as he daringly goes to sit in the empty seat beside her.
[Baku]: *Nervously* H-Hi Savannah…
[Princess Savannah]: …
[Baku]: *Thinking to himself* I guess I'm not popular enough for her to notice my existence. Oh well... I’ll have to quietly admire my beautiful princess... And enjoy the scent of her perfume…*Inhales slightly* Wow... La luxure d'Aphrodite: pour elle…
*The classroom door slams open loudly and the teacher explosively starts his lecture.
[Mr. Yarish]: *Points to Baku and shouts at the top of his voice* BAKU! HOW MANY PLANETS ARE IN OUR SOLAR SYSTEM!
[Baku]: *Stands up and loudly shouts* OH CRAP! FIVE PLANETS, SIR!

[Mr. Yarish]: CORRECT! NOW TELL ME HOW MANY MOONS DOES PLANET ETERNIA HAVE!
[Baku]: SIX MOONS, SIR!
[Mr. Yarish]: CORRECTAMUNDO! HOW MANY NEBULAE ARE IN OUR GALAXY???
[Baku]: THREE, SIR!
[Mr. Yarish]: DING DONG DING DONG! YOU GOT ALL THREE QUESTIONS RIGHT! HERE'S YOUR REWARD! ACCEPT THIS PIECE OF CHOCOLATE!
[Baku]: *Teary eyed* THANK YOU, SIR! .......*Yum*
[Baku]: *Takes a seat* Aaaahhh, hehe, I answered all of those questions perfectly!
[Princess Savannah]: *Not impressed* ......
[Baku]: *Thinking to himself* Ah c'mon, how does she not think that was cool!?
[Mr. Yarish]: Alright, class settle down already. Today, we got a lot to talk about so pull out your notes and write down everything I say and do, AND DO NOT ASK ME QUESTIONS DURING THE LECTURE BECAUSE I'LL LOSE MY TRAIN OF THOUGHT! Just let me ramble on until I'm done and save your questions for the end of class.
[Mr. Yarish]: Alright, we've discussed in previous classes that Planet Eternia is massive with a complex ecosystem. I'm sure you youngin's have heard old-timers like me say, "Oh, bless the living planet", or something along those lines. WELL IT'S ALL TRUE! PLANET ETERNIA IS IN FACT ALIVE! It is important for the planet dwellers to not overuse the natural resource known as, "trees", to extreme extents because it will cause the planet to absorb less energy and produce less to give them. This same logic goes on to other aspects on the planet such as the water from lakes, streams, ponds, rivers, oceans and puddles.
[Mr. Yarish]: If planets dwellers dump all of their waste products into the planet's water sources at faster rates than the planet itself cannot clean and filter it, it will get sick and the results will not be pretty to say the least. So long story short, and since this is astronomy and not environmental science, it is important that we keep the planet clean by doing things like recycling and moderating our use and consumption of the planets resources. Any questions?
[Princess Savannah]: *Raises hand* I have a question.
[Mr. Yarish]: CRAP!!! Okay, what is it?
[Princess Savannah]: Why does any of this matter to us, if we live in outer space unbothered by the current happenings of the planet below?
[Mr. Yarish]: That, Princess Savannah is a TERRIBLE-ly good question! It is important to us, and you can relate this to World History class, because it is the World Guardians duty to protect the planet and allow it to thrive against the forces of evil that attempt to contaminate it. If the World Guardian was ever to fail, the planet would begin to die and go through the stages of decomposing to the point where it would destruct onto itself. The whole planet would probably explode, killing everything and everyone on it and probably us too. But I can't be too sure because I've never seen it happen before. *Bows gracefully* So I hope that answers your question, Milady!
[Princess Savannah]: I suppose it does…
[Mr. Yarish]: ALRIGHT! MOVING ON! Baku previously stated that there are 5 planets including Eternia in our solar system. Ancient civilizations believed the celestial bodies were deities that served the Holy Goddess in creating and protecting the planet. SAVANNAH! GO AHEAD AND LIST THE SACRED DEITIES OF PLANET ETERNIA AND DO IT WITH 1000% ENTHUSIASM!!!
[Princess Savannah]: The first one is named Alarandia, it is the planet of water. The second planet is Evadelious, the planet of lightning. The third planet is Idius, a complete gas giant.
*Baku loses himself when listening to the princess' sweet and soft voice. She sounded enchantingly melodious, as if she was able to speak magically into the people around her.
[Baku]: *Thinking dreamily to himself* Wow... Princess Savannah is so sexy when she talks about outer space... I guess you can say she herself is out of this world...... Okay, that was corny... But still, she's amazing…
[Princess Savannah]: The final planet is the solid giant Uginovus, a massive rocky planet that the ancients believed is the father of Planet Eternia, because, y'know they were crazy... Isn't that right, Baku, my love? Those ancients were as crazy as I am in love with you?
[Baku]: *Nervously* Wh-wh-what!?
[Princess Savannah]: *Dreamily* Oh, Baku my dear, can you not hear me? I said I was in love with you... Hello? Are you there? Baku? Dude? Baku, wake up!
[Baku]: *Snaps out* What!?
[Princess Savannah]: I asked you if you had a spare pencil I can borrow? I seem to have lost mine.
[Baku]: *Embarrassingly* O-o-oh crap! Uuhhh yeah, I should have a pencil somewhere in my bag...
*Baku searches desperately through his book bag which isn’t carrying anything remotely related to school, let alone a damn pencil.
[Baku]: *Thinking to himself* WHAT THE CRAP! I DON'T HAVE AN EXTRA PENCIL! THIS CAN'T BE HAPPENING RIGHT NOW! THE GIRL OF MY DREAMS JUST SPOKE TO ME AND I HAVE NO WAY TO EVEN TRY TO LOOK LIKE I'M WORTH ANYTHING! I'M SUCH A LOSER!
[Princess Savannah]: Do you not have an extra pencil?
[Baku]: *Nervously Stuttering* Y-Y-You can borrow mine if you want!?
[Princess Savannah]: Think Baku, then you won’t have your own pencil to use. Remember, you only have one? Never mind, I'll just ask the teacher if I can borrow one.
[Baku]: *Baku slams his face to his desk* *Thinking to himself* Someone please end my sad existence ...
[Mr. Yarish]: Alright today's assignment should be easy for the kids that still have imagination nowadays. What I want you to do is create your own little dream planet and design it creatively to your liking. AND DON'T BE AFRAID TO GO CRAZY!!!
*Baku begins to draw out his planet and has some fun with it. It is a massive planet with many kingdoms and interesting landmarks.
[Mr. Yarish]: Okay, are you kids done yet? Who would like to share their planet with the class. How about you, Baku?
[Baku]: Hehe, okay! So, I would be the god of my planet and there would be monsters and warriors and heroes and crazy fights everywhere, and the people will fight to please and entertain me, and everything would be awesome!
[Mr. Yarish]: HAHA! Oh Baku, you're always one to have such wild dreams and a crazy imagination, but that's why I like you! The world could use more like-minded individuals! How about you, Princess? Would you like to share your dream planet?
[Princess Savannah]: *Sigh* I suppose I could... My dream planet is one where Planet Eternia was still intact, and the Crystal Kingdom ruled the entire surface world with great might. We would lead the strongest and most massive military to ever exist, and own impregnable defenses that our enemies would never be able to lay a single scratch on, as I would be its supreme overlord and command all of it with an iron fist and conquer the entire planet with an unmovable grip…
[Baku]: *Thinking to himself* *Freaking out* What the crap!? That's a little disturbing…
[Mr. Yarish]: *Enthusiastically* HAHAHA! Oh Savannah, you've always had your mind set on becoming the heir to your mother’s throne! We need more people like you! Smart and clever, with a dash of initiative!
[Princess Savannah]: …
*The bell rings and dismisses the students for lunch.
[Mr. Yarish]: Alright students, go to lunch, have a great rest of the day, and remember that youth culture is important!
