《A Magical Journey》Chapter 2: The castle

The prince was exploring the vast forrest of Maldock in hope of finding this mysterious castle. The Wilderness has enourmous trees and floras, it is not that easy to move around, but Will would not let that wildlife get in the way of his hopes and dreams!
After a week and half, he managed to find it! The hidden castle! His outfit was a bit worned out, but it only made it easier to see the shape of is muscular body through the fabrics so he didn't really mind. He found a small river with trees and grass for Phantom to eat and relax after this long ride. He attached Phantom on a tree with a long enough leach and headed for the castle. It wasn't a really big one, the courtyard was much bigger than the actual castle, but it still had high fortifications around it. He could hear some sort of fighting in it? Was his princesses in danger? He quickly found some asperities in one of the walls and climbed it. And then he saw, in the courtyard, a gigantic green dragon! And there was a woman on the ground, trapped underneath the dragon's claws. Her voluptuous red dress was all ripped off. Without hesitation, Will jumped in action and screamed ''LET GO OF THE PRINCESS YOU UGLY BEAST AND FIGHT SOMEONE WORTH OF YOU!'' He unsheated his sword, jumped down the wall, rolled on the floor to reduce the impact of the landing and charged at the beast. The dragon growled at him at ran right at him... Wait, did he heard the princess in the red dress scream no? Something then grabbed his unarmed hand and pulled him away from the dragon. At the same time, a woman in a dark blue dress stepped between him and the giant reptile, not looking up from her book and said ''Vi, how many time do I have to tell you, don't attack random princes.''
''But he called me a...'' The dragon said, in a really feminine voice.
''Please don't hurt Vi!'' The girl behind him begged.
''Hum... What is happening here?'' Will asked, looking at the two princesses.

''YOU SCREW UP EVERYTHING THAT'S WHAT HAPPENED!''The woman that was under the dragon's grip shouted, pushing Will's shoulder. ''What are YOU even doing here!??''
''Sa...saving.... princesses from a dragon?''
''I AM NOT A PRINCESS!'' The woman in the red ripeed dress yelled. The lady in dark blue dress gave her an angry look. ''... That needs to be saved! We don't need some... MAN to 'save' us!''
''Wait, you're not trapped here?''Will asked, even more puzzled. ''Your dress is all ripped an dirty... How are you not in danger?''
''Have you ever tried to fight a dragon with a freaking dress!!?? It's much more easier that way! And did you look at yourself? You're not much better than I am! And I was totally winning this figth by the way!''
''Oh really Lou?'' The dragon responded, rolling their blue and brown odded-eyes.
''YES! I was about to stab you with my sword!''
''With your arms pinned to the ground?''
''...Yes, I can show you how! I can totally do it!''
''I would loooove to see that Miss Blackbow!''
They then went back to their original position : Lou on her back and Vi trapping her in her claws. Lou started to struggle to get free while Vi was looking at her, smirking.
''Sorry about that.. hum...'' The lady with the book said, extending her hand toward the prince.
''Oh, Will Goldhill. Prince of Pelis! At your service!''He answered, while bowing dramatically. Making the girl that held his hand laugh.
''Pleased to meet you, Prince Goldhill. I'm Lee Currie, the young lady here is Maya Gallonor, and has you already heard, those over there are Lou Blackbow and Vi.''
''So you are not in need of a prince in shining armor to save you from a malicous dragon?'' Will ask sadly.
''Not exaclty'' Lee responded ''We are indeed trapped here, it is Vi's job to not let us leave but we have everything we need : Clothes, food, books...''
''It is really fun here!'' Maya said, interrupting Lee. ''I can finally do what I always wanted : cooking, gardening...''

''So, you really are the princesses that got kidnapped because they were 'disobedient'? '' Will asked.
''We are.'' Lee sighed. ''I was always in the library, reading books. I was always correcting everyone. My parents didn't like that I was smarter than them or the other adults in the castle.''
''I was too nice and helpful'' Maya continued. ''Always in the kitchen or helping my servants doing chores. Not really what a princess should do.''
''And let me guess'' Will said ''Lou over there was too...''
''BECAREFUL WHAT YOU'RE SAYING I CAN HEAR YOU!'' Lou screamed, making the girls and the dragon laugh.
''OUCH!''Cried the dragon has it sets Lou free.
''HA! Told you!''
''Only because I got distracted! Anyways you guessed right Prince Goldhill'' Vi laughed. ''Now that all the presentations are made, you have to leave. NOW!'' She grabbed Will by his cape with their mouth.
''HEY wait! I made a really long journey to come here! I wanted to rescue my princess to bring back to my parents and get married andeverything.''
''Sorry Princey, your princess is not in this castle' 'Vi related. ''They can't leave and I won't let you even try to take them away from me.''
''But...''
Vi easily climbed the fortifications and tossed Will out.
''Sorry about that, but I can't let them go. Please, don't come back and don't tell anyone about this place.''
''WAIT!'' Will screamed, but Vi already climbed the wall back without looking back.
He sighed and headed back to the river to find Phantom. It was getting late, so he set his camp under the tree. He had a long ride to get back to his kingdom... Empty handed. What will he say to his parents.. to his friends... This Maya was kinda cute. When she said to not hurt the dragon, it was so real, so convincing... He couldn't put up a fight anymore because of it. He was trying to elaborate a plan to atleast free the younger one. He then fell asleep, dreaming of his perfect princess in a purple dress.
*That night, in the castle*
Vi was sleeping in the courtyard while Maya, Lee and Lou were in the highest room of the castle, looking a the dying fire of Will's camp.
''He was kinda cute, don't you think?''Maya asked.
''Urggh, men are not my cup of tea'' Lou hissed.
''A little too overdramatic to my taste.'' Lee added.
''Do you think he will come back? He is from the same kingdom that I am. I wanted him to tell me about it. Maybe he knows my parents...''
Lou and Lee exchanged worrying looks. They had a silent agreement that they must change the subject of this conversation.
''It's getting late, sweety, let's get ready to go to bed.'' Lou said with a fake yawn.
''Great idea. Let's get some rest so tomorrow I can show you some gardening tips I found in the library.'' Lee said, wrapping her arm around Maya's shoulder, gently pushing her away from the window.
''Oh yay! I can't wait.'' Maya aswered, hoping to be as cheery as she usually is. She couldn't stop thinking about this prince... What he said before Vi tossed him away .He wanted to get married... With a princess... What if she was the one...
She shook her head 'Don't be stupid M' she said to herself, 'you are trapped here, and it is better this way. If you ever become a queen, you won't be able to do what you like...' But what did she really wanted to do? She loved her friends, they were together in here for about three years now... Three long years wondering what she was, what she wanted... Why her and not someone else? She only wanted to be nice and helpful and then her life took a drastic change. She shook her head and went to bed, to dream about his prince in shining armor...or dirty outfit...

And this belief that I am, that evil is, enslaved by the dark night is humorous to say the least. Why would any creator make their pupil inept of withstanding the lighted world when this planet is covered in daylight for half of its life span? No, our Maker did not instill such restrictions for, up here on these earthly lands, we are the gods of prey. ~ Tristan There is only one rule vampires must follow--Bite Hard.
