As the battle continued, the tides turned. Slowly the war was turning in favor of demons.

“Ha...ha..ha, is this the power of an elf queen? I am utterly disappointed,” Lucifer said.

“My powers aren’t enough to stop this monster; if this continues, we all will meet our end soon”, Elf queen in her mind.

Suddenly a roar is heard; as Lucifer looks around, he sees someone coming from a far distance.

“Did I make it in time? Or am I late”

As Jaden looked in the direction from where the voice came, a huge smile came on his face.

“Nope, you are just on time, master,” Jaden said.

Just a voice of their lord has pumped-up new energy into the soldiers on the battlefield.

But what was more supporting and uplifting for all was the surprise that Leon had to bring with him.

“So the parasite is still alive.”

Lucifer had a look of dissatisfaction and anger.

Leon, who had entered the battlefield, was riding on a dragon, and not just that, but he had brought an army of dragons with him.

So to understand the whole scenario, let’s jump back into the dream where Leon meets the dragon lord.

past -

“Listen carefully, my successor to defeat the demon lord you will need some strong force by your side, and to get that you have to visit the dragon valley,” The dragon lord said.

“Dragon valley, although I know that it’s the home of dragons but no one has ever seen it,” Leon said.

“You don’t have to worry as it’s now your home too.”

“Follow the winds in the south, it will guide the successor to his real home where the heavens and the earth meets thats where you will find the answers to all of your questions. Consider it as a small gift from me to you,” The dragon lord replies and perishes as the dream ends.

“Although the riddle was a bit tricky but somehow I did find the dragon valley and thanks dragon lord for your little gift that’s gonna be a bigger help for me in this battle”, Leon in his mind.

“Just cause you to bring some flying lizards on this battlefield you think that you can win this battle.”

“Huh, ‘I think what are you talking about? I will surely win this battle. Let’s end this for once and for all,” Leon smirks, and the battle between the two monsters has started.

The battle continued, and both sides were giving their best.

“Just give up. Do you think you can match my magic powers” Lucifer said.

“Yeah, I know that I can’t but don’t worry I still have an ace up my sleeve to finish this shit forever.”

“Huh, so you think you can still beat me. I don’t know from where this confidence is coming but let me tell you whatever it is, it won’t be able to stop me,” Lucifer said.

The battle took an unexpected turn as Lucifer entirely dominated Leon.

“Didn’t I tell you earlier that you can’t stop me? Silly human,” Lucifer laughed as he held Leon from the neck.

“Ha...you forgot, didn’t I ... told you that I have an ace up my sleeve,” Leon said and flashed his hand.

As Lucifer looked at Leon’s hand, he was shocked.

“What, how do you have this ring.”

“The ring of death has surely brought back some of your most horrifying nightmares,” Leon said.

“That’s right, the ring of death - when I was in dragon valley, I found ancient scriptures regarding ancient and legendary weapons, and the ring of death which I have is one of the strongest legendary weapons in the world. But one of the traits it consists of is that I can destroy the soul of any being no matter who that is, that is why Lucifer was so eager to acquire this ring in the past from his brother. This time I think god and luck were really on my side,” Leon in his mind.

“Impossible!! you intentionally weren’t using your full powers to close the distance between us,” Lucifer said.

“Correct, and now that it’s done, let me finish this,”

Leon shouted and grabbed Lucifer’s skull from the hand on which he was wearing that ring

Light glowed from that ring. That might bring a new morning for humanity as Lucifer’s soul perished forever for good; his army also passed as they were connected with each other.

And the long dark war came to an end.

As the sun was rising, bringing new hopes, new days, and new reasons to live, everybody was happy as they won the war, and Leon looked at the rising sun as tears shreds from his eyes.

“So it’s all finally over, that long hellish nightmare, and what awaits is a new day.”

Leon says as he falls to his knees.

Jaden wanted to approach Leon, but Alfred stopped him as if Leon should be left alone for some time.

That marks the end of this story; I hope you guys like it although there were many rough ends. But I have learned a lot, and you guys have also helped me. Thank you for your love and support.
