With the dark guild investigation team having Azumi as their new additional member, they proceed to the Cupid restaurant in two group, Filaurel and the first squad will monitor the dark guild bases whereas Azumi and the other will survey the stakeout

Along the way to the Cupid's restaurant, thing were calm, as they just have a little talk with each other, but Azumi still remind them not to drop their guard

Once the Cupid's restaurant have come to their sight, Azumi and Kucin can feel something strange, the calm of the morning where no one is in the street which is something rather unnatural plus a barrier of ignorance being put into Cupid restaurant

Azumi step into the restaurant, walking right into their trap when multiple knives coated with poison were launch at him at a high speed with weight magic circle added to them for more impact

He use the magic of wind and space to stop the knives on its track and send the knives to one of the people ambushing them, he target the neck area of one of the person presence there and none of them misses, with such a high velocity impact, the head of the person is severed and fall to the floor

He wasn't kidding when he said that, he can see that three of the ambusher near the now unconscious tied up Cupid with an explosion barrier

Azumi use his lighting acceleration magic to it's max and quickly go to where Cupid is

"Oh time, slow down the activation of those barrier, barrier deceleration" [Azumi]

"Oh heat, by my command, concentrate and blew my enemy, impact redirect" [Azumi]

He chant the three magic as fast as he could, putting an extra strength to the second chant so that his student hard earn restaurant isn't extensively damage. The three magic activated do its job while Azumi bring Cupid back to Kucin and the other

The impact of the explosion knock out most of the furniture but the window were left unscathed, seeing that, Azumi are glad that he put the strength more into the impact dampen magic

"Cupid" [Kucin]

"She's alright, just unconscious, plus by the look of it nothing have been done to her" [Azumi]

"Good, if something were done to her, they can say goodbye to their head" [Kucin]

"Same, but keep your anger in check, it could prove fatal you know that right" [Azumi]

The reason is simple, they want to make her as viable as they could so that Cupid can be sold to the slave market at a Higher price, they anticipate that Azumi will not let his student be harmed in anyway possible, so that's why they set up the explosion barrier in the first place

"There are four more people, and it's look like they are coming out, the one in the middle with the long black hair is without the doubt is the strongest so I would fight him and two more person, the three of you can take the other one" [Azumi]
