Emma Point of view

Ever since meeting the slave merchant leader Zlatan, I have always felt some air of unrest around Lydia. Not only do she feel restless most of the time, but she also felt somewhat responsible for the death of Ray's and Mile's parents. When Teacher open up the cage of Zlatan's group during the trip, just for a slight moment, I can feel a killing intent coming from her. It's understandable, she is from the beast race and that Zlatan have been bad mouthing non human every chance he get.

While splitting up for the first time, I thought it would be a good idea to put her with the third group, investigating the one that kill Ray's and Mile's parents as Princess Alfin is there and she would not let Lydia make any reckless move. Well, her effort bare some fruit.

Afterward, I join both Blanc and Lydia to support them, While I can still feel some restlessness from her, It was overshadowed for a moment by the guilty feeling she have toward the dwarf family. But what strike me out the most is that after subjugating the noble and the church, she secretly ask the noble one by one regarding Ray's and Mile's parents, threatening them in silence to upon up their mouth regarding who have hunt them. I tried to stop her but I don't have any courage to do so. Not only that, I don't have any courage to open up this problem to anyone else, not to Guz which is like a sibling to us, or even Blade and Blanc, our two best friends.

Currently, when having a wonderful meal from our Senior Cupid, Lydia secretly gaze headmaster and Mile interaction. She must have felt guilty of not finding out the culprit behind that incident. And afterward, we will visit the orphanage with Sis Kucin and Lady Clair, is this perhaps the best time to open up?

Before riding the carriage,

"Lydia, can you help me for a moment?" [Emma]

"What is it Emma?" [Lydia]

Emma did a signal, signalling that she want someone else to join her to go to toilet together

"Alright, You guys go and seat and in the carriage first" [Lydia]

"Sure" [Guz]

Emma drag Lydia to the empty alleyway, quite some distance from the Cupid restaurant

"How suspicious" [Kucin]

"Yeah" [Guz]

Shocked from getting drag by Emma, Lydia call her name multiple time before Emma stop dragging her

"What is happening Emma?" [Lydia]

"That should be my question!" [Emma]

Emma, a timid girl, raise her voice toward Lydia. Being together for such a long time, there are moments where Emma will raise her voice toward Lydia, but Lydia notice something, this time, it's different from those other time

"What do you mean?" [Lydia]

Lydia try to dodge the question

"Don't play me for a fool! Who do you think I am" [Emma]

Emma keep on raising her voice

"..." [Lydia]

Seeing Lydia reaction, Emma somehow become more angry

"Why, why do you so fixated on such a thing, have you forgotten what Mother Theresia teach us! What Princess Alfin told us!" [Emma]

"Emma..." [Lydia]

Lydia can't help but to lower down her voice, being scolded by someone who she taught as her own sibling

"I have realized it from the start, but it's also my fault for not speaking up to you, for not seeking help from the other, but this can't go on. Not when you will go to another orphanage with that kind of feeling!" [Emma]

Emma voice begin to soften down, she's about to cry but decided to hold back and continue talking to her

"What would happen if you go to the orphanage and the children there notice your behaviour" [Emma]

"That's..." [Lydia]

"Answer me!" [Emma]

"ITS FRUSTRATING!" [Lydia]

Due to sudden outburst from Lydia, Emma flinched a bit, but that doesn't dampen her spirit

"I love people like you! Like Guz, Like Mother Theresia, Like teacher, Like Princess Alfin, Like Captain Aurora Family but still those guy are still in the minority!" [Lydia]

"Lydia..." [Emma]

"Even senior Cupid, someone as angelic as her can't help but to be judged by her race!" [Lydia]

"..." [Emma]

"Of course, Princess Alfin and King Edward have fight such stupid oppression for us, but most of the people still wary of us. Most of them still choose not to interact with us" [Lydia]

"But the adventure are..." [Emma]

"That's because we are kind to them and they only see that as a source of comfort, or food!" [Lydia]

"LYDIA!!!" [Emma]

"!" [Lydia]

"Take that back!" [Emma]

"But..." [Lydia]

"Then what about those adventure that have donated their money to the orphanage, the adventure that supported Sis Kucin until she become an unparalleled rookie, the adventure that help in dark guild suppression!" [Emma]

"Emma..." [Lydia]

"It pain me when I have to said this but please, don't be a selfish person. What you think right now is no different from what those guys are doing!" [Emma]

"But still..." [Lydia]

Emma grab Lydia hand and hug her

"Promise me, Don't you dare think something stupid like this ever again. You are like a sibling to me and I don't want you to get into any trouble because of such a thing!" [Emma]

"Emma, I also feel the same" [Lydia]

"I don't know what it felt like to be a person from non human race, how they feel about other oppressing them, but I do know one thing!" [Emma]

"..." [Lydia]

"Is that our feeling toward you will not change just because you're a beastman, Lydia are Lydia, the cheerful naughty girl that I know from small, the one that will always badmouthing Guz and Blanc but secretly take good care of them" [Emma]

"That's embarrassing" [Lydia]

"Whatever happened after this, please, don't ever think of such a stupid thing ever again" [Emma]

"Emma" [Lydia]

"Please, I beg you, just like how Sis Kucin and Cupid felt toward Princess Alfin, please do the same. I will whole heartedly support you" [Emma]

"Yes" [Lydia]

"Promise me that!" [Emma]

In tear, Lydia response

"Yes, I promise" [Lydia]

"Good" [Emma]

They let out a small laughter and wipe out their tear before going back to the carriage. Once inside

"That's a long talk" [Kucin]

""!!"" [Lydia, Emma]

"Sorry both of you, for not noticing it any sooner" [Guz]

"Me too" [Kucin]

""Same here"" [Blanc, Blade]

The two of them become more and more embarrassed. Their cheek is nothing but redness at this point

"Well, I can said a few word here and there, but I believe the pep talk just now will do." [Clair]

Clair word is the final push, they become so embarrassed that they begin to cover their face

"Assignment, please ask Mrs Usagina about how and why she become the Valkyrie. And don't think I would not check it, GOT IT Students!" [Clair]

They all nodded in unison

"Good luck!" [Mile]

"What's with that Aura Sister Kucin?" [Ray]
