With one of the Giant snake slime being finish off easily by Azumi, he thought that he would finish the first giant snake slime through the same method, but just as he is about to do that, the slime rampage violently

Sensing something is off with the giant snake slime, Azumi try to scan the slime and inspect it mana

Thus, he make a steam by using a variant of scald magic, which boil down the water at high temperatures by supplying it more with fire magic as compared to water magic, and he also uses wind and space magic to condense the magic before firing off the magic. Against all expectations, the giant snake slime eat the fired steam ball toward it, and digest the steam, something that bewildered and confusing to Azumi

Azumi then begin to move to freeze the slime by using the subzero freeze. Since his ice magic isn't as good as Aurora, much less to the ice queen, the power and speed of it dramatically decrease. Seeing this, Aqua come up with a plan

Aqua then proceed to chant a magic

With the water terrain set up surrounding the giant snake slime, Aqua proceed to fire off chantless acid needle liquid to the slime body at a high rate, but the giant snake slime prove to be resilience as it keep on regenerating itself while also firing off spell after spell, and a giant version of a basic spell to top it all, causing a needless difficulty toward the group.

"I will use my own terrain then!" [Fizumi]

Fizumi begin to chant

"Oh neutral mana surrounding us, gather around and help us, neutral terrain" [Fizumi]

A simple chant, just like how her master always did, and with that, the two terrain combine to augmented each other. While Aqua keep on firing her acid needle liquid, Fizumi fire off chantless neutral swords magic toward the slime. Each sword is attached with a string of mana that connects to each other, and when the strings begin to be entwined inside the slime, she fire off large amount of mana, causing the giant snake slime regeneration to be disturbed

Both Azumi and Aqua can't help but to said that out loud, and with that, they continue to attack the giant snake slime

The giant snake slime retaliate by constantly pouring off stream of scald magic, toward all directions. And since it's surrounded by water terrain, the scald magic power are amplify. In response, Fizumi covered herself as well as Azumi and Aqua in a cloth of neutral mana to defend against the incoming attack

(Fizumi, can you trapped the magic core with string of magic?) [Azumi]

(I have try to attack the core directly but the mana surrounding it prevents me from doing so) [Fizumi]

(It's ok, just surround the magic core with your neutral string mana, since my target is the body first not the core) [Azumi]

(Aqua, get ready to use a freeze magic!) [Azumi]

With that, Fizumi do as she was told, surround the slime magic core with her neutral string magic, and once Azumi have confirmed it, he once again use a steam magic, but this time, he uses the entwined string as the steam magic pathway, thus boiling it from inside, and Aqua by seeing this, manage to figured out what Azumi plan to do

"Rapid freeze!" [Aqua]

Aqua chant her magic, with the sudden change of temperature of the scald magic and the ice magic, the slime entire begin to undergone a reaction, and instantly freeze and fell off pieces by pieces, until all that's left it the area surrounding the magic core part, to which Fizumi simply crush the fluid body surrounding the magic core before taking it and giving it off to his master

"Great job both of you!" [Azumi]

"You can defeat it faster you know!" [Aqua]

"True, but I want the magic core no matter what" [Azumi]

"And what will you use it for?" [Aqua]

"I'll give one to Alfin, another to Fizumi" [Azumi]

"I see" [Aqua]

Just as the two of them finish their chat, Usagina, Filaurel and Kucin can be seen dragging some suspicious man. They then approach the three of them
