The little girl with an ashen white hair shout. Her ragged clothing have a sense of nobility in it but she's quite in a state of malnourished

As Azumi step forward, the four lich begin to attack him

(This is?) [Azumi]

Once again, Azumi can't sense any malicious intent coming from those lich, rather he can clearly read why the lich suddenly attack him

(The liches are protecting her!) [Azumi]

A familiar intent as he himself is a royal bodyguard and he out of all people will know the intent of protecting someone important. He can't help but to compare those four lich as himself and the little girl as Alfin

As the lich keep on using time and dark magic to protect the girl, he noticed they keep in to a minimum as they doesn't want to let the ashen girl to be caught in the cross fire

Seeing this, he unconsciously smile

"!?" [Ashen girl]

"Looks like thing really isn't what it seems" [Azumi]

"What?!" [Ashen girl]

The liches are weak, not even comparable to the one in Alfin dungeon much less as compared to the lion lich raja that he have fought five years ago

The ashen girl, instead of commanding the four lich said rather an unusual thing

"Mom, aunty, big sisters be careful. Don't get hurt!" [Ashen girl]

(Family member?) [Azumi]

Azumi, who keep on dodging wave after wave of time and dark magic attack become even less wary as he seems to manage to tie everything together

(Can't feel any malicious intent, no contract form, and the girl can't even chant or use any magic. Most likely, the girl must have experience bangkit thus causing her family member to become a lich) [Azumi]

Azumi can't help but to gulped loudly, he look worried

(A natural necromancer... if anyone found out about this, that girl life will be forever in ruin!) [Azumi]

Instead of dodging all the incoming attack, he instead use one light dome magic surrounding himself. The attack of the lich were easily blocked

He then do something rather unnatural. He took out his keris and put it in the ground with hand up in the air

"Little girl, I am not here to harm you, believe me" [Azumi]

The lich however, unconvinced by it and continue the attack

(Sigh... need one more push then) [Azumi]

Chantlessly, Azumi fire off a light chain magic toward those four lich, trapping them before immobilise them to the ground. He take back his Keris, move past the struggling lich and goes to the ashen girl

"Please, spare my life... huc..." [Ashen girl]

The girl start to cry. Instead of saying anything, Azumi simply open his item box and let out some warm fried rice That he prepared beforehand. The nice smell causes the ashen girl to look at the food, stop her cry and have some drooling of saliva

"Take it, and don't worry, there's nothing suspicious in there" [Azumi]

Seeing as how to the ashen girl still hesitate, he bring out a table and 2 chair with another set of similar fried rice. He then bring out a fruit juice and two glasses together with it before finally bringing out a banana cake and finally

"Dispel" [Azumi]

He dispel his magic toward the liches. Seeing this, the girl become even more confused.

"You, you won't kill me?" [Ashen girl]

The scared tone of the girl and her question make Azumi flinched a bit but he quickly reply with a warn smile

"No, I won't" [Azumi]

As he said that, he pour some Fruit juice into one of the glasses before

"Or would you rather want a warm cocoa milk?" [Azumi]

Azumi take out Alfin favourite cocoa milk from his item box. Now Infront of him is a confused girl and an equally confused liches

"So which one do you want?" [Azumi]

Azumi said that with his hand gesturing the girl to take her seat. The girl did as she was told albeit still in a flustered and cautious manner. She grab the banana cake and inspect it thoroughly, even letting the liches do the same

"It's alright?" [Ashen girl]

One of the liches simply nodded to her statement. With that, she take the first bite and

"So sweet!" [Ashen girl]

"Glad you like it, but don't forget to eat the fried rice before it turn cold" [Azumi]

"Alright" [Ashen girl]

"Now that's one cute smile, by the way, do those liches eat anything?" [Azumi]

The liches shook their head to his questions

"I see" (So no mana to feed them, can't help but to think anything other than Bangkit) [Azumi]

The girl continue to eat, she eat quickly, clearly starving. Once she finished her plate (even before Azumi manage to eat half of his own portion) The girl reach out the remaining banana cake before gulping down the cocoa milk

"Want anything else?" [Azumi]

"..." [Ashen girl]

(She clearly want more of it but to shy to speak) [Azumi]

Azumi take out Mother Theresia cookies and give it to her, and once again the liches nodded to her question before a second feasting begin

"Haha, don't worry, the food won't run away" [Azumi]

The girl pout, clearly embarrassed by Azumi statement. And after they finish their dinner

"So, may I know your name?" [Azumi]

in a slow and shy voice, she replied

"My name is Angeline, and you are?" [Angeline]

"Azumi, the royal bodyguard for Princess Alfin from Raflesia kingdom" [Azumi]

He said that as he bring out the medal as a proof

"!" [Angeline]
