Lucius was standing beside someone tall. She felt rage and ran up to him. She felt her fist hit his face full force. The person stumbled and took a few seconds to recover.

“Get away from him!” Said Morrie.

“What was that for?...never mind sorry I totally deserved that” Said Nero rubbing the side of his face.

His short brown buzz cut hair managed to look messy on him. His dull brown eyes seemed glassy and far away.

“Morrie you remember Nero it seems” Said Lucius.

“Why is he here?!” Yelled Morrie.

“Well he found me this morning and apologized for attacking me. He also wanted to tell you he was sorry” Said Lucius.

“I really am sorry. I really overreacted and got really upset. I thought… it doesn't matter what I thought all that matters is that I messed up and I want to make it up to you both” Said Nero.

“I'll think about it” Said Morrie.

She hated Nero because he attacked Lucius but was willing to get passed it.

“Still sorry Lucius” Said Nero.

“Don't say sorry to me. Tell that to my sister” Said Lucius.

“I'm sorry Morrie” Said Nero.

“I'm not his sister” Said Morrie.

“You're not?” Asked Nero.

“Athena is his sister”.

“Wait a second, so that supermodel girl is your sister?”

“Yes?” Replied Lucius.

“And Morrie is your girlfriend?” He continued.

“Well no” Said Lucius.

You could have said yes…

“We’re just friends” Said Morrie with a hint of scorn.

“I totally thought you and that pretty girl were together” Said Nero.

“Her name is Athena it's best you learn it” Said Lucius.

Morrie took Lucius’s hand and walked on the right of Lucius while Nero walked on the left.

“So the girl who knocked me out is your sister?” Asked Nero.

“Yes, my older twin sister to be exact” Replied Lucius.

“Why are you giving him a second chance?” Asked Morrie.

“Athena asked me to try and be more social. This is a part of being social, I think. Anyway it seemed like a good way to make a friend” Said Lucius.

“Just curious here how exactly are you and Athena twins. You have black hair and your eyes are, you know. And she’s blond and has blue eyes” Said Nero.

“We have different biological mothers” Said Lucius.

“Oh” Said Nero.

They arrived at school and Morrie got her new schedule along with everyone else. She looked at the list of classes. She had physical education with Lucius and Athena. She smiled and walked to her first class. She walked into the gym and looked at the seating chart at the front of the class. She was right beside Athena.

“Heyyy!” Said Athena with her ever flawless smile.

“Hello Athena” Morrie’s sleepy voice pepped.

It seemed like Athena had forgotten to get a sports bra. Morrie knew she wasn't but the new gym teacher did.

“Hey, Athena right?” Said the teacher.

Athena was a school all star and school sweetheart so it was no surprise she knew her name.

“Yes it is, so nice to finally meet you Miss Olivia” Said Athena with the most beautiful voice any human could hope to make.

“Nice to meet you too. Did you forget your under armour or sports bra?” Asked Olivia.

“I have both actually, it's kinda crushing me” Said Athena.

“Oh, well then” Said Olivia.

Morrie looked over at Lucius who was conversing with Kip. Morrie was not fond of Kip or Nero.

“Hey Athena do you want to be my C partner?” Asked Morrie.

“Yeah that would be great!” Said Athena with so much enthusiasm it seemed as if she had just own the lottery.

Athena shot up and ran over to the other side of the class. Morrie wondered why until she saw that Hex was sitting in the corner. Morrie looked at Lucius again.

“Alright get your C through G partners” Said Olivia.

Her short brown hair looked remarkably well on her.

Morrie walked over to where Lucius sat and asked “Do you want to be my D partner?”

“So you want his D” Said Hex with a giggle.

“I'll be your partner if you want” Replied Lucius.

“Want to help me find my G partner?” Said Hex with a wicked smile.

“Okay” Replied Lucius.

Morrie thought this was odd. She had not yet gotten a E partner but was asking for a G. And why help her find a G partner when she could simply ask him.

“oh never mind” Said Hex.

No noise came from anyone. They were all deep in thought trying to understand what she meant.

“Really nothing? Do I have to spell it out or something?” Said Hex.

“I think I understand” Said Lucius.

“Do you now” Said Hex.

Morrie felt like he truly had no idea.

“You have a spot open for a G partner and would like help finding a partner dispute being able to find one” Said Lucius.

He was hopeless.

“Just be my G partner you clueless idiot” Said Hex.

“Fine” Said Lucius.

Morrie picked up in it a short time later. “Eww”

Lucius had yet to look at anyone directly today. She noticed he had not looked at her when they were talking. He seems to believe that looking at people was truly the way to reproduce.

“All right let's get started” Said Olivia.

They walked to the weight room and Morrie found some twenty pound weights.

“This looks just about right” Said Morrie.

She looked over at Lucius with three pound weights. Athena was holding what looked to be two hundred pounds weights in each hand. It seems impossible for someone her size but she was doing it.

“Well then” Said Morrie.

“Lucius can you spot me?” Said Hex.

“For jump rope?” Asked Lucius.

Morrie knew she was planning something evil. Morrie began to lift her weights.

“Yeah just get over here and I'll explain what you have to do” Said Hex.

Morrie asked Athena “Where is the party going to be?”.

“Oh it’s going to be at… I don’t remember but by brother does” Said Athena.

“Lucius just hold me close” Said Hex.

“What are we doing exactly?” Asked Lucius.

“Your spotting me, but you have to hold me close” Said Hex.

She tied his hands and said “Got you!”.

“What are you doing exactly?” Asked Olivia.

“He is teaching me to tie knots” Replied Hex.

“Oh, carry on then” Said Olivia.

“All the teacher thinks she is super innocent” Said Morrie.

“That’s kinda funny, she has a really filthy imagination. But it's more like she just she says what we are all kinda thinking” Said Athena.

“Mind if I ask you something?” Said Morrie.

“Anything” Said Athena beginning to do crunches.

“What happened to make Lucius the way he is?” Asked Morrie.

“Well it's probably because he’s smart” Said Athena.

“Lots of kids are smart” Said Morrie.

“Not like him, he is a different kind of smart. He already passed ninth grade” Said Athena.

“So has Scarlet and they are almost the same age”

“He was three when he passed his first college exit exam. I can prove it. He just thinks on a different level than most people. It make him isolated in a way. He can’t talk about thing he really wants to with anyone. I can’t even imagine how alone he must feel inside. To top it off he doesn't feel the same way people do. Pain or emotions” Said Athena.

“So he just can’t relate to anyone?” Asked Morrie.

“Exactly, well he can talk to our mom and feel normal. But things are complicated and we haven’t seen her in a while” Said Athena.

“Oh, I’m sorry” Said Morrie.

“Don’t be, our lives are fine otherwise” Replied Athena.

Morrie walked outside and began the mile run with the rest of the class.

“Hey” Said a bush.

Morrie looked at the plant and walked over. Havana was sitting inside. She seemed nervous to say the least.

“Why aren't you in class?” Asked Morrie.

“Because I was looking for Lucius” Said Havana. “He is over there but why are you hiding?” Asked Morrie.

“Well, one of those funny looking dogs with ears on the top of its head like this,” Said Havana placing her hands on the top of her head like a rabbit “Was following me”.

“A bunny?” Asked Morrie.

“Sure, whatever it’s called, anyway it had a small army so I ran here after spotting you”

Morrie looked around and found the bunnies closing in. It was a normal sized bunnie followed by a mass of tiny bunnies. The small bunnies looked like cotton balls with ears and eyes.

“Do you want me to tell Lucius to get over here?”

“That would be very helpful” Said Havana.

Morrie walked to Lucius and said “Havana wants to talk to you”

“And that’s important because?”

“She is hiding in the bush over there”

Havana sprinted out and the bunnies were following her.

“They want to eat me!” Havana screamed at the brink of tears.

Morrie found it funny that she was afraid of the rabbits. Lucius walked over and patted her head saying “No they won’t”.

Morrie picked up one of the rabbits. “It's so cute!” Said Athena.

She looked at the tiny bunnies as they began to surround her.

“Eww! get them away from me!” Said Havana.

Morrie picked them up along with Athena. Havana and Lucius walked away and came back a short time later. Class ended and they moved on to their next class. Morrie sat through calculus her hardest class. She felt stupid but knew most people did when doing math like this. She walked through each and every problem until class ended. She ate lunch with everyone including Nero. Nero was talking with Lucius and Athena was glaring at Nero. Her next class was just as boring. English was rather dull. The school day ended and she was ready for what Lucius was planing. She walked to the gate where they always meet and found him talking to Nero.

“Let's go Lucius” Said Morrie taking his hand.

He didn’t argue but when they were out of sight he said “We still have to wait for everyone else”.

They waited and walked back to the main entrance of the school. Everyone eventually arrived and they were off.

“So where are we going exactly?” Asked Morrie.

“Well,” Said Havana with a matter a factly tone “We are going to the place where I’m from. It’s the most prestigious place you will ever be”

“That sound cool” Said Aurora.

They walked to a strange house and Lucius unlocked the doors. They walked in and Morrie saw two massive birds. They sat at opposite ends of the room. They seemed to have no eyes.

“What are those things?” Asked Morrie

Morrie was focused on the birds. Scarlet was holding Lucius close and seemed to be hiding. A low bellowing began to emanate from the white owl. It spread its wings and seemed to bow.

“It seems to know you” Said Lucius looking at Scarlet.

Morrie felt sick by just looking at the owl like things.

“They only do that when they like you and know you” Said Lucius.

When they opened their wings it sounded like the sales of a massive boat being flung open. The wings they had seemed far larger than necessary for a bird their size. They seemed to be around four or five feet tall but the fact still remained.

“Don’t worry they won’t hurt you unless you try to hurt Athena or myself.” Said Lucius.

They seemed old but it was impossible to tell.

“Lets all get into position” Said Lucius.

Morrie saw the makings on the floor and followed Aurora and Athena’s example. The next instant they were all in a new location. Morrie was attempting to understand what had just happened. Before she could fully grasp the situation, thousands of people began to surround them. They were cheering and began to hug Lucius and Havana. People began to shake her hand. Five especially tall individuals walked up to Lucius. They spoke in a voice without any indication of sex.

“May I ask that you speak english so my friends may understand?” Requested Lucius.

“My apologies, my name is Zakori. I am an Elder Noah. We are happy that you have joined us for this celebration of love”.

Zakori turned to face Lucius and said “Your mother would be so proud. We have been waiting for this day for many years. It truly brings joy to my heart. But first a day of celebration!”

They had enormous amounts of food. They began to shoot fireworks into the darkening sky.
