A Meeting
for the
Hidden Ship
Intro—
Jaino and Judith arrive in the wide plain — south of Jelfyr. Across the busy people, children are lining up for their feeding. Male adults are working the construction of each family's temporary shelter. Those females in some families assist the builders, masons, and carpenters by making their snacks.
Some people, decide to make it their home than temporary shelters.
Some scholars lead the norims with abilities of wind, fire, earth, to build a health facility for patients evacuated and currently staying in Zahamara's villa. Other people in the same races are tasked to build a stronghold prison and temporary base for different organizations, including schools. Those hunters and farmers come back with the gathered fruits and hunted animals for everyone. Altrass' men distribute their reliefs good. And the people happily accept the aid.
As Jaino and Judith walk across the crowd of busy people, Jaino sees a beauty selecting fruits in a stand nearby a soldier distributing food to children.
“Judith can you stay here for a moment.”
Judith nods. Watching at him walking near to the beauty, she feels her heart aching. How many women he has..? Who is she? Her pain becomes so painful as she sees him hugs the beauty. I can't watch this... Diverting her view, to the children playing a fighting game, she wipes her tiny tears and tries to resist her painful feeling.
As her eyes become so absorb with the sight, she remembers her days when she and Jaino were teens. She smiles. After awhile, a hand taps to her shoulder. She sees Jaino has his arm on the beauty's shoulders. Enduring the cold feeling on her heart, she listens at Jaino speaking moderately—
“Mom, she's Judith.”
—that makes her confuses. Huh, did I heard it right?
“Judith, this is my mom.”
“So, you're what Kilie had been mentioning about,” has asked by the strictness beauty. “What is your work? What is your achievements? Anything that can make you eligible for my child?”
While she's confused by the woman's appearance, the question with directness has made her silent.
“Mom, Judith is a good person at heart. She helped the people in Asteron in settling to Pirmlinth. She might not look like it. But she stands like a mayor to the people there.”
“Jaino,” has mumbled by Judith.
“So you're a capable of leading the people.”
“It needed. So, I had to.”
“What's more mom, she applied at the JK Academy as instructor.”
“I see. Alright, Jaino, I hold onto her for awhile. Take care to your meeting. And please remember, never stray in your path.”
“Yes mom.”
“Where are you going Jaino?” has asked by Judith. He's leaving me again.
“I'll be back. I have things to do. You need not to worry.” He holds her shoulder and smiles at her.
“Promise me to comeback okay.”
“Of course.” To his mother, he says, “Later then, mom.”
As he parts, Judith thinks, Jaino. Please, don't go away from me again.
“My son wants you to help me fulfill my wishful objective. Are you willing or not?”
Judith just gazes down. That bastard... Is he tricking me?
“Did you heard me?”
“Ah... uhm... are you really his mom?”
“I'm not surprised that you ask me that question. Yes. By nature that he came from my womb. I'm his mom.” Seeing Judith gazes down, she asks, “I ask you earlier. My son wants you to help me. Can you fulfill the task?”

On Judith's thought, Should I call her mom... or what... “Err... What is it that you want me... to do... mo...” She gazes down.
“You can call me what you want. And I have a name. Cally is my name. I want to rebuild my tribe. But, it won't be a tribe this time. But a clan. Are you willing to help me?”
“That's...” I can call her mom... She really is Jaino's mother..? But why she looks young? Judith just nods.
“Come, follow me. My niece is on the Lightning Clan's Shrine.”
“Are we going to walk?”
“What do you expect? Don't be a picky. I'm not a medou, and a powerful one that can reach there instantly.”
“So... sorry.”
—End of Intro.
In a room, wearing her decent attire, Jesifer welcomes Criselia and has her takes a seat in the round table. Following her arrival, door opens as Altrass and his men enter. Jesifer has stood and asks him to take a seat opposite to where Criselia is.
Atrass asks, “You really know how take the opportunity. Since I'm around you take the time to invite me here.”
Jesifer replies, “I'm in the utmost happiness for your kindness. You still deeply care for the people. If I'm correct, you also task some of your men to investigate every event that happened yesterday.”
“Do you doubt me that much? Amateur! We have an agreement. That is the course we both follow.”
“Don't worry. I have no ill intention with my words. If you wanna dig more information, you are free to investigate. My brother is around. You can inquire him for further details.”
“You really are amateur. You do know I can use this freedom you bestow against you?”
“I don't fear about it. I trust you comply with our agreement. And I believe, you still deeply care for the people.”
“Enough with the nonsense talk! What we are about to talk?”
“Right Jesifer,” has seconded by Criselia. “I'm a bit confuse too of why I was brought by you here.”
“Before that. Criselia, this is Altrass, our previous Marshal. He's currently planning an expedition outside the seas of Dandia. Altrass, this is Criselia. Same as you, she's planning to venture outside Dandia by air.”
“Hey Jesifer, what can we gain by telling him about our plan,” has asked by Criselia. — Follow up by Altrass,
“You won't gain a thing for revealing my intention.”
And both persons speak, “Unless...”
“Yeah, I want you both to cooperate on each other.”
Altrass bangs his fist onto the table. “My ships are already prepared. What's left is for you to release the barrier. And you want me to accompany this woman without much contribution. For what? Our surveillance?”
“In what way your going to travel outside Dandia?” has asked by Criselia to Altrass. “You seem oppressive.”
“You are too carefree to speak around our queen. I assume she has given you much important.”
“She knows a lot more than us,” has spoken by Jesifer. “If we want to journey outside Dandia. Then we don't have much choice than to cooperate with her. And Sire Altrass please be mindful that I didn't belittle your intellect. I just want to help you as much we need too. The outside world might be the answer of our salvation.” If we win the battle against the ruler of Dandia, after that.

“Tell me woman,” has asked by Altrass to Criselia. “Do you really have away to journey outside Dandia?”
“Yes, of course. So, it's your turn to answer my question.”
“We built a huge ships. And by the treals power, we can shield our self against the huge contaminated fog as we travel.”
“You gonna travel throughout the sea and the fog?”
“You're right.”
“I don't want to speak ill against you, specially you managed to built those ships. But do you wanna hear about my statement?”
“I'm willing to listen.”
“Then please reduce your temper.”
Altrass nods a bit and replies, “Go ahead.”
“Traveling across the thick poisonous fog is a suicide. Specially, any visual abilities won't work inside. So you're inclined to meet terrible creatures there. And since, we have been confined to this area for a long time, there might be artifacts inside the fog which may wreck those ships.
“So, it is unsafe. Considering that an inhabitants outside the thick fogs are lying in waiting to ambush us.” Criselia shakes her head sideways. “There's a zero chances you could win a fight.”
“You seem knowledgeable. Tell me about your vessel. Else, this meeting ends.”
Criselia smiles. “I can give you my opinion if you're willing to lend me a hand.”
“Don't tell me, you're gonna ask for our ships.”
“Oh, those things, you can lend it to people instead. They can used it to farm fish in the sea.” Her words have made Altrass in fist tightly. “What I want you to do is — I want you to venture in Deep Forest. Jes, do you have a map?”
On Altrass thoughts, Did she just call her on a nickname?
Jesifer replies, “I will ask my man about that later. Do you need it right now?”
“Later then. Altrass— ...did I spoke your name right?” Seeing Altrass nods, she continues, “I want you to excavate the area somewhere in Deep Forest. My... I mean, an old underground is there containing an ancient airship.”
“Airship?”
Jesifer explains, “Like your ship, it is a vessel to carry people. But unlike yours, this will float into the sky.”
“You call it ancient,” has doubt by Altrass. “It sounds like an advance artifact to me. You sure something like that exist?”
“Yes, it is. I already give briefing the scholars. They already made their sketch about the vessel. And they got it all accurate. They can recognize it and maybe know how to repair and improvise it. Is it wonderful if we can travel above the fogs, right?”
“I'm interested to see this airship of yours. I help you excavate this object. Until then, our agreement about cooperation is a void.”
“Very well. I have my scholars accompany with you then.”
In the first prince quarter, a cloak female kneels one knee, “My prince. It's about time that I report.”
“He hasn't still noticed you?”
“I doubt he hasn't. The third, he seems planning in venturing outside Dandia.”
“He really does exceeded my expectation. I even failed to exit Dandia through air. He might have ideas. Continue to watch him, if possible, join his flank. Please honor prince, you need permission from my leader before I follow your order. I don't want the main exceptional general enrage. She's around on her camp, newly arrive.”
“Very well.”
The door opens an a member of the council comes into view. The cloak female, she stands and bows. She then leaves the place. “My prince,” has spoken by the councilor while he enters. “Dogel and some of his group hasn't comeback. He's aiding the operation of his endured men. Only the members of the Craze Guild had arrived. They request a meeting with you.”
“Not even a good news?”
“Oh, right. They said they met the real fifth exceptional general and lots of the rescued people. They have also information about the remaining remnants of the underworld. And it would be easier if we can have cooperation with Zahamara and the Shau Clan. All merchants are needed inspection. And those our critics in the councils, we need to investigate them all.”
“They'd done a great job. Adjust my schedule, I have to meet them as soon as possible.”
“You're not gonna use your clone?”
“In this very busy state, I can only perform two at a time. My soul isn't that powerful to operate my images.”
“I adjust your schedule then.”
In the third division's camp, Jaino goes inside the office. The busy Taila speaks, “You didn't kept your promise. I'd been waiting for you anxiously yesterday's evening. Goodness, I even tasked both clans in selecting and fetching some attires in the distant neighboring village. You wasted our efforts.”
“That was fast. — Forgive me... ...how about tonight?”
“So long as you come. That settles. But it won't be the same.” She smiles. “I have the message from our investigator. The AGAO are currently busy managing the important documents that they sheltered safely in their office's basement. I hope this cleared your doubtful mind. I dunno why this necessary to you.”
“You can just read my mind.”
“It won't be interesting if I would. Here's also the record of people fell victim in the calamity. It included the list of people living in the five villages.”
“I'll pass for that. I just need the information about the case.”
“Then here's your copy.”
Receiving a scroll, Jaino asks, “Your daughter interests about me and you.”
“I'm sorry Jaino. But I'm sure she can understand. I need to keep both clans under control. It's for the better future of Jelfyr.”
“I see. Do you have a vacant room?”
“Oh right. As you requested, I did emptied the quarter around that corner. I'm sure you can use it for your meeting. But bare it to mind, it isn't finished constructed. We are just staying here temporary after all. Anyway, you can bath behind. We stocked water there.
“Also, your guild member will probably comeback later.”
“Thank you.”
“I'm just doing my duty.” As she notices Jaino idles watching at her, she asks, “What are you waiting for? Is there something wrong in my face?”
Jaino smiles. He then sighs as he goes out the room. I can't understand dralk. No... I think I failed to understand them. Or, I don't like their nature... I have to stop thinking about this matter. I need to mind my own business.
