The following day, a new activity was given by the same professor, the activity needing 2 students going in a team. The professor then prepared a suspicious looking box where the students will supposedly pick a number to enter their respective teams. The students then picked a paper within the box and went to the same person with the same number as them.
Unbeknownst to everyone, the professor made a trick; he purposely made the top of the class, Samuel and Sophia, into a team. Samuel and Sophia after realizing that they were on the same team complained to the professor and questioned his sanity. The professor having been told that, got angry and warned them that their grades will drop if they don’t do the class activity, shutting the two up.
The activity given to Samuel and Sophia was the most difficult. They were given the mission to take back the daughter of a rich merchant that has been kidnapped by an unknown group of thugs. Needing more information, they decided to go and meet the rich merchant in his home to ask for some information, who told them everything he knows. After getting all the information they needed, they set out on their mission.
After going to the building where the ransom was supposedly going to be held. They both realized that they didn’t have a plan and that they had never talked to each other due to their pride. The two of them tried to talk to each other but didn’t manage to say anything. Sophia now running out of patience, suddenly stormed in. She was able to hide herself while looking for the child. After a few close calls of meeting the guards she was able to find the child in the basement tied up. Sophia after freeing the child, decided to quickly make an escape but due to the sound of the child tearing up, it alerted the guards who then charged at her from all directions.

When Samuel arrived at the scene, he was impressed in Sophia skill in swordsmanship as she fights back her enemies. Sophia not noticing Samuel’s arrival, fought desperately as she tries to protect the girl behind her didn’t manage to notice one of the enemies casting a magic arrow heading her way. Sophia now realizing the predicament she’s in could do nothing as she readied herself and waited for the impact. Much to her surprise Samuel suddenly appeared and protected her by casting a magic shield, blocking the incoming projectile. The two then decimated the enemies at a rapid pace.
After bringing back the girl to her father, they were thanked repeatedly and so the two decided to go back to school. Halfway on the way to school Sophia suddenly blushed and thanked Samuel for the help to which Samuel replied your welcome.
After telling the professor that they successfully completed their mission, they then went home as it is now dusk. After they left the professor just smiled and looked in the sky and noticed that their dislike for each other decreased drastically.
A few minutes later, as Samuel was walking to the exit of the academy, a familiar person suddenly appeared. “How was your day Prince? Samuel got shocked internally panicked but realized that only a single person knew oh his other identity. The former servant, his foster father, Sir Dwen.

Thomas the Brawler
Thomas doesn't remember what his last name was, before it became Bluebrim, a name belonging to another universe. He's also pretty sure he wasn't this stupid before he arrived, but what can you do, when a day that was supposed to begin with an interview to set your life back on track instead begins in a universe that makes no sense, with rules you can't begin to understand? Maybe he should have paid more attention to the avatar creation screen ... Content warnings: All of them. Seriously. Expect lots of blue screens to begin with. Don't expect a power-leveling fantasy, in which the lone hero beats up all the bad guys, and gets a harem of women. There's just a guy who treats character creation like an annoying series of pop-up advertisements, and the story is basically the ramifications of that. The main character has to learn to take the world he's found himself in seriously, and he'll learn the way most of us do, by doing it wrong first. This is, insofar as it is successful, a dark comedy fantasy. Also a bit of horror, particularly but not exclusively body horror. I'm pretty sure I've earned those Content Warning tags, so, uh, yeah. This is practice. Hopefully things improve as I go, and figure out what I'm doing wrong, but I make no guarantees things will ever get better. I've already made mistakes, I'll make more, and I'm happy to notice them each time I make them. You don't improve unless you fail. (On the plus side, it probably won't get much worse.) Feel free to point out anything you think I'm doing wrong; I don't promise to change anything, particularly if it's a matter of taste, but I am looking to improve, and figuring out what I need to improve goes faster if I don't have to try to figure it out myself. I've updated the earlier chapters for formatting, in the hope that it would make everything easier to read on mobile devices. Hopefully things work slightly better now, but please let me know if there are any issues anywhere.
